Just returned from a weeks stay and I have to say, it surpassed all our expectations. The room was spacious and cleaned everyday. All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Food was amazing with a great selection every night.
It’s not a big hotel compared to most other hotels close by but that gave the place more of a personal feel and made you feel relaxed around the pool and dining. You are out the hustle and bustle but cheap taxis can get you where you want to be in 15 minutes, so no drama there.
We will be going to Agadir again and this hotel will be our number one choice.

Quite pricey, with too little personalized service for for a 5⭐️ house and for the cost. Rooms are a bit old but clean. The rooms are unfortunately extremely noisy. If a neighbor is talking, you can hear every word. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is also very loud, but luckily it can be turned off.
The breakfast and dinner buffets are standard, with no descriptions of the dishes, and the staff seems overwhelmed if you need help regarding allergies or you have a special requests. Every drink during the day or at dinner costs extra and the prices were not Moroccan. Even water costs 50 Dirhams (5€). The pool area is beautiful, but by 9 a.m., all daybeds and loungers are taken—though it’s worth noting that it’s currently school holidays in Morocco and France. The spa is lovely, and treatments are well done, but there are no other activities on-site. I can’t fully recommend it; there are better or more affordable options.

Great hotel in Agadir. We did not stay mong enough, but still we highly appreciated our time. I have contacted the staff long time in advance to organise a romantic dinner for my girlfriend. The staff did help with that request and created a fantastic time for the both of us. Special Thank you to Lahcen who gave us an amazing service during that great dinner by the pool. Fully recommended!

We had an excellent stay at Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort. The superb infrastructure, the high quality of service at all levels, and the wonderful atmosphere created by the beautiful decor and the spirit of the team all contributed to our memorable experience. A big thank you to Mohamed and his team, as well as the concierge team, who met all of our needs.

Arrived a little late, needed to drop off the rental car before it shut.
Nasrine on reception was excellent, understanding, and fast tracked the check in process. Was kind enough to ensure two rooms were next to each other.
Great spoken English and very accommodating. She really made the start of the holiday very easy.
