A Truly Memorable Stay! I had an amazing stay at Solana Beach Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by incredibly friendly staff—from reception to entertainment, catering, and waiters. Everyone was so warm, always smiling, greeting us, and making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with the beach just a few steps away and breathtaking sunsets each evening. The beach house staff were especially helpful, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring we had the best experience possible. The food was another highlight—plenty of variety and delicious options every day. We also appreciated the great cultural educators who shared insights into local traditions and cuisine, even giving us tips on how to integrate with locals and foods to try outside the hotel. There were so many fun and engaging activities to choose from, like bike rides, henna art, and fantastic night entertainment that encouraged everyone to get involved and dance. It created such a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. Solana Beach Hotel is more than just a place to stay—it's a place to connect, relax, and truly enjoy the Mauritian spirit. Highly recommended!

I had such a lovely time at Solana Beach Hotel! The resort itself is really cute, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. But what truly made my holiday special was the staff — they’ve honestly been the highlight of my trip. Everyone has been so kind, warm, and genuinely caring. They really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and looked after. The entertainment team was fantastic too! They brought such great energy and felt more like friends than staff. They do a great job encouraging people to join in the fun without ever being pushy — just pure good vibes and laughs. All in all, a memorable and heartwarming experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, feel-good escape. 💛

We went to Solana for our Honeymoon 2 weeks ago. what a lovely room and view! We were however very unhappy with their drinks. The cocktails are premixed and just poured into a plain small glass. No garnish. It’s dull and nealy damped out our whole honeymoon. I would suggest you take more time to make your guests feel like they are in paradise. It fealt more like a hostel. The Buffet everyday is mostly the same, although they give each night’s buffet another theme name. The starters and mains were good, but the dessert was not great at all. The little puddings are really tasteless, we however enjoyed the icecream. Please can you look into making the experience feel more dreamy than just feeling like, oh well they paid for all inclusive so what’s the point in making each drink look like they actually want to drink it. Reading from the reviews.. I see two common issues that is worth noting by management. I do hope that the resort improves the standard of food (not being bland) & drinks are served and the improvement on the condition of some of the rooms. After all, the most memorable part of a holiday is the food you ate. I wish to visit soon and hope I'm not disappointed.

Stayed for a 2 week trip and had a lovely time. Staff were very friendly, lots of activities are provided (including water sports) and perfectly situated right on the beach with the reef full of different fish. Rooms have been given 4* as although they have modern air-conditioning, the wooden flooring in places is warped, especially outside the shower and the toilet. We were in a prestige room and the outdoor seating was uncomfortable. I have downgraded service as apart from our first day, there was no drinks service poolside, and you had to order at the bar, although they would offer to bring the drinks out after ordering, but this seemed a wasted journey for their staff as you would already be at the bar to take the drinks. I also found it difficult to order additional drinks at dinner. I am vegetarian, and mostly there was a good selection of food for me, but some nights it was very limited, such as the Indian night, but there was always something. Signage could definitely be improved, such as labelling for different requirements, or a brief note of key ingredients. The food overall was mostly very good, packed with flavour and not spicy hot! The stray dogs around the area all seemed well fed and none were aggressive towards people. Overall, I would definitely want to return.
