Our stay at Solana Beach was okay overall, but for the price and value, I would recommend considering another resort. We booked the all-inclusive package, and unfortunately, it was not the greatest experience. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, but others seemed disinterested — and it quickly became clear that if you’re not French-speaking or from Europe, you’ll likely feel overlooked. Most of the activities, announcements, and even entertainment were geared entirely toward French-speaking guests, which made it difficult to enjoy the resort atmosphere fully. The daytime entertainment was honestly poor. The leisure team seemed unmotivated, and there wasn’t much effort to include or engage all guests — only a select few. It also felt like you had to spend extra money to receive good service. For example, during a birthday dinner when we chose one of the more expensive dining options, the staff were suddenly very attentive and friendly. For an all-inclusive resort, there was a noticeable lack of service around the pool and beach — no waiters coming around to offer drinks or assistance. The rooms were the highlight of our stay, mainly because of the beautiful sea-facing view. However, housekeeping was minimal — only the beds were made daily, and empty bottles or small messes weren’t cleaned for days. The bathroom appeared to have been recently modernized, but the workmanship was poor, and it took about 10 minutes for the water to get hot in our room. Overall, Solana Beach has potential, but the experience did not match the cost or expectations of an all-inclusive resort. If you’re looking for a more welcoming, value-for-money, and inclusive experience — especially as a non-European guest — I would suggest exploring other options in Mauritius.

This location offers an excellent environment for relaxation and holiday enjoyment. While the caretaking services were somewhat slow, the food was acceptable, though it could benefit from enhanced flavor. The waitstaff could improve their demeanor by smiling more frequently. The evening bar experience with live entertainment was delightful. It was disappointing that no beverages, not even water, were provided with supper. Additionally, toothpicks were absent from the tables. The premises, particularly the yard and pool, were consistently clean. House maid Name Rati is excellent.Wifi only works at the back of rooms.

The room was so beautiful with the seaview. The services was fantastic everything that we wanted we got it. Location was so nice it's a paradise. Thanks to evervone at Salano Beach Very good staffs thanks for the good this staff on Housekeeping and just for visor helps us upon checked in and in room beautiful flower beautiful flowers. Lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All of them face the sea, which is beautiful at any time of day. It’s very clean — not only the rooms, but also the yard. The staff clean and rake the grounds every day. All the staff are very kind and helpful. The food is good. The only complaint is about the birds that fly into one of the restaurants, even during meals.

Really nice adults only hotels, with very clean rooms ans restaurant. We never really used the pool as the beach sunliyngers were just great and very quiet. The only slight downside is that the hotel is quite far from anything so youd always need a cab but saying that, its great for a relaxing week!
