I recently had the immense pleasure of booking a 5-night, 6-day stay at the Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada for my girlfriend’s 40th birthday, and let me tell you—it was an unparalleled experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an aura of luxury and warmth. Upon exiting our car, we were immediately greeted by name, making us feel like cherished guests in a friend's home. The staff, ever attentive, whisked away our luggage and guided us to the lobby—a breathtaking open-air haven with immaculate white floors, vibrant flowers, and lush trees, all framed by the stunning ocean view. Our check-in with Seamore was smooth and welcoming, complemented by the delightful Davina, who remembered our earlier phone conversation and ensured that everything was perfect. We were also welcomed by Brian, one of the managers, who served us refreshing welcome drinks. The attention to detail was simply astounding. Seamore provided us with a personalized tour, leading us to our suite that opened directly onto the beach, a mere 50-foot walk to the water’s edge. The suite itself was a sanctuary of comfort and elegance, complete with a soaking tub offering ocean views, American wall chargers and USB plugs, a fully stocked fridge, and an abundance of Ting’s—my newfound favorite drink, particularly the pink variety. Each morning, we rose at dawn for a serene swim and beach stroll, watching the sunrise in utter tranquility. The suite’s hammock and lounge chairs became our perfect spots for relaxation, while the attentive staff served us drinks and delectable homemade fruit ice pops—mango, soursop, and coconut being our favorites. The staff’s hospitality was extraordinary; they made us feel like royalty. Every encounter was marked by genuine warmth and impeccable service. Our birthday dinner on the beach was unforgettable, thanks to our exceptional waiter, Cyrell, whose grace and ever-present smile made the evening magical. His dedication to creating a memorable experience deserves the highest praise. Kudos to the chef for delivering culinary masterpieces with every meal. As a foodie from NYC, my standards are high, but each dish surpassed my wildest expectations. The farm-to-table dining was exquisite, with beautifully plated dishes bursting with rich flavors. Martha’s assistance in having the chef prepare a special local Oildown was a highlight, showcasing their unmatched commitment to guest satisfaction. Seamore also arranged a private tour tailored to our interests, complete with a picnic and a delightful local lunch. It was one of our most cherished days, blending adventure with personal touches that made it uniquely ours. Our couples massage at the Jasmine Spa was sheer bliss, a testament to the resort’s dedication to providing top-notch relaxation. Despite facing the unexpected challenge of Hurricane Beryl, the resort’s management handled the situation with incredible professionalism and care. Fabian emerged as a true hero, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the ordeal. The resort’s preparedness and resourcefulness, including backup generators and a desalination plant, kept us safe and well-fed. Their adaptability and support extended our stay until we could safely travel, further showcasing their exceptional service. Special thanks to Elizabeth at the front desk, Kevin at the bar, Lucy in the restaurant, and the entire Hopkins family for crafting such a remarkable experience. Despite the hurricane, our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Spice Island Beach Resort, you’ve set the gold standard for hospitality. We will undoubtedly be back to relive this dreamlike experience. Thank you for everything!

Fabulous place on great beach. Despite being on holiday and totally chilled, service was indifferent and could be painfully slow but generally served with a smile. Good quality food along with excellent choice.
