This resort works a bate and switch. I paid for junior suite with a jacuzzi, king sized bed and an ocean view over 2 months ahead of time. When we got there they gave us two full sized beds, no ocean view and no jacuzzi. After explaining the mistake to the front desk worker he told me "push the beds together. We refused to accept this so they moved us to a room with a building room and a jacuzzi. After the first night of going back in forth they finally gave us a room with and ocean view and the Jacuzzi however it was not the junior suite. I girlfriend and I were trying to get away and relax instead of fighting with then about what services I paid for that weren't provided. When we checked out, I requested a refund for the extra cost of the junior suite and they refused. The rough cost was around 900$ for this reason I am writing this review and I will never attend another Palace resort of any kind since they do not respect what is paid for. What a bait and switch!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

Celebrated first wedding anniversary with my husband at the Sun Palace resort and it was an absolute dream come true. We had such an amazing time and the staff took great care of us- they really take the time to get to know each guest. The restaurants within the hotel were all excellent and the app made it easy to make reservations or order room service whenever needed! The two pools had their own vibe which was nice if you just wanted a chill pool day or more of a party vibe. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back!

This was my first all-inclusive resort experience and I’m absolutely hooked. Everything here was fantastic, from the rooms to the amenities. Even the food was way better than it had to be, and I really appreciate that. The Mexican restaurant was fantastic (try your best to get reservations there). The only criticism I have is that the check in was a bit rough: it took a while then our keys didn’t work (had to go back and forth several times and wait in such a long line) — at the end it took us nearly an entire hour to check in.

My husband and I had an excellent first time in Cancun and first time staying at a Palace Resort. The service was phenomenal, food choices a-plenty and all delicious, and the entire resort was beautiful. We used Costco Travel and the entire process from booking to flying home was seamless.

Great service, dated rooms, clean. Decent food, very good drinks selection. Difficult to find pool chairs, even at 7am. Most are reserved for Diamond club members. For that reason, I would not come back.
