Had a wonderful stay at Sunwing Bangtao. We have a 2 year old toddler and it was the best decision to book our stay here. With 3 4 pools and super beach access it was simply wonderful. It did rain quite a bit but we did not mind it at all. The staff were all very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good but was the same for all the 7 days we were there without different cuisines so that was a bit of a downer. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended!!

For the price point, location, and amenities we were extremely satisfied with this hotel. The room was large with a nice sofa bed. There are 6 different pools that our young kids had fun playing in. There is a largish water slide that is fun and a small little kids slide that is good for toddlers. The beach is steps from the pools with free beach toys available to play with. The hotel restaurants are not too bad but I thought were pricey-ish. The massage place right on the beach was great and very reasonably priced about 300-400baht for an hour massage. The rooms were clean and in good shape. The room had a kitchen sink, dishes, microwave, and a decent size fridge for a hotel room. The balcony was nice with a table and chairs. There's a kids club with activities that we didn't participate in but looked fun. Great hotel, location, and pools!

We had a great stay at Sunwing Bangtao Beach. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the bed was cozy (though a little squeaky). Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, and the restaurants served good-quality food. The staff were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The kids club was a nice bonus, and the two girls who worked there were fantastic! Kind, friendly, and great with children. The only downside was that we could clearly hear the people in the room above us walking around—it sometimes sounded like they were stomping. Other than that, everything was great. The resort is popular with Russian families, which was totally fine and added to the lively atmosphere. I also appreciated that it’s a non-smoking resort, with only a few designated smoking areas. It was quite busy even during the low season, which shows how popular it is. Overall, a really enjoyable and family-friendly stay!

Room was a bit dated, but the air-conditioning was great, as was the shower pressure. Grounds were well-maintained. Breakfast buffet offered great options, and pizzas from both restaurants were delicious (when we didn't feel like athai food). A bit of a walk from the markets, but taxis and tuk tuks were readily available ifyou wanted to venture beyond the resort pools and beach. Staff were lovely and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying here!

Sunwing Bangtao Beach is truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We stayed for 6 nights. Our family of four—two adults and two kids—had an unforgettable experience. The resort offers multiple pools, and the waterslide was a hit not just for the kids but for dads too! The pool bar with happy hour adds a fun touch for adults, while the well-maintained ping pong tables keep everyone entertained. Service here is exceptional, and the massages are simply incredible—perfect for unwinding. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, with plenty of options and a stunning ocean view just a few meters away. Dining is a delight, especially at the main restaurant where the Thai dishes are beautifully prepared. The location is a little remote, but that’s part of the charm—you get peace and quiet away from the crowds, making it ideal for families. With so many activities and thoughtful amenities, Sunwing Bangtao Beach is a paradise for kids and parents alike. Highly recommended for a relaxing, fun-filled getaway.
