My partner and I loved our stay here! The location, rooms and facilities are great. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. There’s a lot of families staying here and a lot of activities to do for children, but it’s still a very peaceful hotel. Also the sunsets are beautiful! Will definitely return!

The staff is incredible, everyone knew us by name and they helped us throughout our entire stay; they assisted booking tours, making great restaurant suggestions. The hotel in currently under renovations, the bathrooms are okay but need some updating. The rooms are spacious. The tuk tuk by the pool needs fixing or can hurt someone.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunning Hotel, and I highly recommend it—especially for families. Traveling with teens, having a spacious two-bedroom suite with two bathrooms made all the difference. It gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time without feeling cramped. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, with plenty of loungers and shaded spots to unwind. The grounds are beautifully maintained, adding to the overall peaceful and inviting atmosphere. Food-wise, the breakfast selection is fantastic, offering a wide variety to suit all tastes. The coffee, however, could use an upgrade, but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise excellent dining experience.

We found Sunwing Bangtao beach to be a great location. As an affordable family base in Phuket, you can't go wrong here. The room we had was large enough for our family of three to be comfortable. We had pool access from our room. There are 4 different pools to choose from, depending on how you feel, and the beach is right there, too. If you get a package with included breakfast you won't be disappointed. Each morning they have a local dish special as well as all the normal choices you'd expect. There are 2 massage decks near the beach, so there is no excuse not to unwind. It’s in the zone, where you are in the pick-up zone for most tours and activities. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Family-friendly beach resort literally just next to the beach. The children had a lot of fun toggling between the pool and the beach. Service staff were all very friendly and there were programmes catered to all ages. Unfortunately the main pool is now under renovation, but the 3 other pools were adequate for all guests to enjoy.
