We were all impressed with our experience at The Sands, it is a lovely complex, very clean and tidy, I often sore staff being very meticulous with their cleaning.
The options in places to eat and drink were good, the food was very fresh and tasty, as well as there being plenty of options.
We thoroughly enjoyed having our pool access rooms (which were very well appointed and the beds were comfortable, the other pools were super too.
The staff were nearly all very friendly but certainly efficient.
You have set the bench mark very high for our next international holiday, loved it there. Thanks.

The hotel was amazing, everything you need for traveling with small children. The staff was super friendly. The waves at the beach was a bit rough, but if you walk a few minutes to the right you will find a small “lagoon” where the children can play. Not a lot to do in this town with young children, the dinner at the hotel was expensive. I hope to travel to this hotel again

We had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, offering stunning sea views and a beautiful beach. It's incredibly kid-friendly with numerous water activities suitable for all ages. The Talay Restaurant serves delicious food, and the breakfast collection is impressive. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Beautiful hotel, loved our stay here. The staff are absolutely wonderful, so happy and welcoming. Food and drink is great but much much dearer than the local restaurants. We are a couple in our 60s and needed to move rooms as we were placed above the swim up rooms allocated to people with young children and it was just too loud for us. We upgraded to a swim up ourselves and had a lovely quiet room. Having said that l would highly recommend this hotel for younger kids, there's a lot of facilities for them and the staff love them. I would have like to have a bag and some pickers available so we could have picked up litter as we walked along the beach, it wasn't too messy but l would have enjoyed helping the environment.

I gave a 5 overall but there are elements that could be improved.
The manta restaurant service wasn’t great and overall impacted the first couple of days. Same with the Jellyfish bar, the staff here weren’t as friendly.
Compared to what you say? The floating market, coconut bar and Talan restaurant were all amazing and made up for the poor service we got up the other end of the resort.
Kids will have a good time here, there is a kids club but a warning that kids under 4 need parental supervision.
