Great Family Stay in Cancun – A Few Bumps, but Worth It! Spent 5 days at the Seams Hotel in Cancun with the familia, and overall it was a good experience. The location is a major plus—just a short walk to the bus stops, which made it super easy to get around without needing a car. The beaches nearby? Absolutely beautiful—clear water, soft sand, postcard-worthy views. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food had decent variety, though I did get some indigestion from a couple of dishes—nothing major, but worth noting if you’ve got a sensitive stomach. Still, the family found something to enjoy at each meal, so no one went hungry. All in all, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Not 5-star luxury, but solid and family-friendly. Would consider staying again, especially for the beach access and convenience.

This was a second time staying at this resort and we enjoyed every second of it! We had a fast- VIP check-in experience. Great and prompt service; staff is friendly and courteous. Beautiful amenities, amazing views, and great room services on daily basis. Many great restaurants to choose from, offering delicious specialties! Our favorite was The White Box, although the coffee place was also delightful. Resort is well kept, and we have seen many improvements since the last time we stayed here seven years ago! Entertainment was ok, Our kids enjoyed a supervised kids club, with many kids activities, and opportunity for parents to relax and enjoy adults-only amenities. The only downside was the beach area; overcrowded and lacks lounges and chairs. Rooms could also use some updates, especially pillows and showers in the bathroom. Overall our stay was amazing!

This is not 5* hotel!! More like a 3 star. Room wasn’t clean. Scum marks in bathroom and condensation all over patio doors. Main buffet restaurant was same everyday and meals were only warm and not kept hot. Pool and beach area were ok but sun beds were few and far between. I would not come back to this hotel again. Look elsewhere if you’re thinking of booking.

Disappointed with the Experience – Not Worth the Hype We stayed at The Sens Hotel in Cancun for just one night—thankfully by choice—to get a feel for the place before committing to a longer stay. I’m glad we did, because it fell far short of expectations. To start with the positives: the hotel is very clean. However, that’s where the good experience ends. The food was honestly terrible, especially at the buffet. Bland, poorly prepared, and lacking any real flavor. A simple Alfredo pasta, for instance, tasted more like flour and was extremely watery. The restaurant food from The Sens was a bit better, but the food from the Oasis side was truly disappointing. Their reservation system for dinner was a mess. You’re required to book through an app, but every time we tried, it showed no availability. When we followed staff advice to just show up, we were still turned away—even though there were plenty of empty tables visible. Very frustrating and poorly managed. The beach was another big downside. While it’s nice to have beach access, it’s located right next to the entrance of a marina, so there are boats constantly coming and going. Not only does it make swimming unpleasant, but there was also a noticeable bad smell in the area, which took away from any chance of enjoying the beachfront. If The Sens Hotel is trying to position itself as a top-tier all-inclusive resort, it has a long way to go. The overall atmosphere wasn’t for us, and I wouldn’t recommend it for couples or even a family looking for a relaxing, high-quality vacation.

My stay at Hotel Sens was a complete disappointment, especially for families with children. Despite being advertised as family-friendly, the hotel was overcrowded, with a packed pool that was unusable. By 5 PM, intoxicated guests created an unsafe, party-like atmosphere—hardly suitable for kids. The all-inclusive dining was a nightmare: long queues, no available restaurant reservations, and we were forced to pay 1800 pesos for a seafood grill just to eat. The rooms were unclean, with sticky beds, adding to the discomfort. We left after one night. This hotel does not deliver on its promises, and I strongly advise families to look elsewhere. Management needs to address these issues and stop misleading guests about the family-friendly experience.
