I recently had the pleasure of staying at Westin Turtle Bay Resort in Mauritius, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
The food was absolutely divine. Every meal was a treat, with a variety of delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented dishes. Whether it was the international buffet or the local Mauritian specialties, each bite was packed with flavor and quality.
Entertainment at the resort was equally impressive. We were treated to a fantastic range of activities, from live music to cultural performances, keeping us entertained throughout our stay.
And the view—wow! The resort is set in a stunning location with breathtaking vistas of the turquoise waters and lush greenery. Waking up to such beauty every day made our trip even more magical.

I recently spent a weekend at this hotel, and it was an incredible experience! The service was truly first-class, with staff who were welcoming, attentive, and eager to accommodate every request. The food was outstanding, offering a wide variety of dishes made from the finest ingredients—absolutely delicious.

DO NOT STAY HERE! They will enter your room!!
Long list of issues:
1. I woke up the sleeping desk agent, see photo, to specifically request that no one goes into my room while I went out exploring.
2. I come back to video footage of someone entering my room! This is my space that I rented and requested no entry. Why is there someone in my room?
3. The people in Mauritius were amazing. Some of the staff at this hotel were not. Ruined my trip.
4. It is nowhere near anything! I hope you have a rental car!
5. Beach? What beach?? It is a rocky shoreline with near no sand. You must walk a good distance to another resort if you want sand (very hard with lots of stones and broken shells, not soft at all) and then you can't use any of the beach furniture.
6. The Marriott Website CLEARLY states breakfast is complimentary but staff will deny you breakfast unless you pay for a meal plan.
All-Inclusive
The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa all-inclusive package (from November 1, 2022) includes the following:
- Buffet breakfast at Seasonal Tastes (6.30am to 10.30am)
- Grab and Go option at Seasonal Tastes (10.30am to 11am)
- Lunch at Beach Grill or Mystique Restaurant, Bar & Lounge (12noon to 3pm)
- Dinner buffet at Seasonal Tastes (7pm to 10.30pm)
- A 3-course a la carte dinner at Kangan or Mystique Restaurant, Bar & Lounge (7pm to 10pm, a supplement applies for items not included in the all-inclusive programme)
- MUR 1,000 credit per person at Fusion (Dinner: 7pm to 10pm)
- MUR 1,000 credit, per person on theme nights at Beach Grill (Dinner: 7.30pm to 10pm)
- All local drinks and spirits along with a complimentary afternoon tea daily (3.30pm to 5pm) at Mystique Restaurant, Bar & Lounge
- All local drinks and spirits include at The Retreat Bar (10am to 11pm)
- Minibar, including crisps, soft drinks, local juices, water, local beers, red and white wine, refilled once a day
