I was happy with this quiet, less busy hotel. We did online check in and room was ready at 12noon when we go there. Room was nice size and clean, comfy beds, just a little firm. Pool area was nice! Pool was a bit too cold for me but hot tub was nice! Friendly bartender, great drink recommendations. Easy to use tablet to control room. Easy walk to parks and took water taxi back to Sapphire and walked over to Aventura. Love food options at Urban pantry...Wok is a favorite. Nice view of Volcano!

Just spent about a week at Aventura. Hands down 10/10 and so glad we picked this hotel. Sure it doesn't have all those bells and whistles that some property hotels have BUT it is more than made up for in the rooms and what they do offer, plus who has time for that when you are at universal from open to close. The beds were comfortable, rooms were laid out to give optimal space. Floor to ceiling windows were amazing. The shuttle to the parks/city walk are great, the walking path is quick as well, and of course the option to hop on the water taxi. We used all those options to get to the parks and they all worked perfectly in the situations we used them for. The food (while some say is pricey) is no more than any other restaurant these days. Food is cooked to order so if it's busy it can take a bit. I absolutely LOVE that they had several gluten free options including pizza, and the staff was well versed in what was in their items. The gelato was amazing as well. Pool was good size as was the hot tub. We will definitely be back to Orlando and will definitely be staying here again. Lastly shout out to June for the amazing check in experience and getting is all taken care of, I didn't get the name of the other person working that night we checked on but she was amazing and friendly as well!!

I had a great time at this hotel. Through my stay was short, I appreciated the entire experience; from the front desk to the cleanliness of the room it was worth it. I stayed from Friday night until Sunday morning as I went to universal studios and islands of adventure on Saturday the entire day. The shuttle is extremely convenient and as a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe as well. I'm excited to go back to Universal and stay there again!

Stay was during a convention and not during a trip to Universal Studios. But, convenience to the water taxi to transport to / from City Walk was nice. Rooftop is a great view. Room was comfortable, clean and tablet controls for all room lights, TV, thermostat. Short stay but good location and amenities. Recommended!

The perfect hotel at Universal. Practicality over aesthetics. Great value at its price point. Only negative I would say is young kids may not be too impressed with the lack of theme but the pool hopping option makes up for it by being able to enjoy the other hotels pools. Location is great with easy access to the bus stop or water taxi over at Sapphire Falls. Even the garden path walkway to the parks is only about a 20 minute walk. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. Check in was smooth and painless. We had our room keys and park tickets and we're on our way to the park in under 20 minutes. Will definitely be the top of our list when we return.
