Terrible Experience - NOT a 5-Star Hotel**
I’m genuinely shocked that So Chic Ultra inclusive claims to be a 5-star hotel because it’s far from deserving that rating. My experience was beyond disappointing. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Anytime I asked for something, the answer was always “no” with no effort to accommodate guests.
One of the worst parts was that they confused us with other guests and actually asked us to collect our bags and leave! This was a complete humiliation, only for them to later offer a weak apology, saying, "we confused you with other people." A simple apology didn’t fix the insult and the hassle they put us through.
For an "ultra all-inclusive" hotel, I expected much more. There should have been alcoholic drinks available in the room, but all we found was water and juice. It’s deceptive and cheap for a place that's supposed to offer luxury.
The beach was another huge letdown. It's advertised as private, but it's not at all. To make matters worse, there's no beach bar, so you have to walk all the way back to the pool just to get a drink – very inconvenient, especially for an all-inclusive resort.
The rooms were absolutely horrible. They were outdated, dirty, and far from comfortable – not even close to what I expected from a supposedly luxury hotel. It also took them 2 hours to bring fresh bath towels when I requested them after two days! Completely unacceptable. I can’t believe they charge what they do for such poor conditions. The only redeeming part of my stay was Engine and Ibrahim, who were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond, unlike the rest of the staff.
Save your money and avoid this place. It’s definitely not worth the price or the 5-star rating it boasts.

5 days were a complete disappointment. The food was terrible, I have never seen such low-quality alcoholic drinks in my life, and the cocktails were awful, the bartenders were very rude. The best option was beer. The hotel staff's level of English was very inadequate. The animation team was generally indifferent and insincere. Also, the music was terrible, the horrible remixes they played all day made my ears bleed. A guy from the animation team was so rude. The pool was very dirty. It’s definitely not a 5-star hotel. The beach was like a public beach with sun loungers. They completely ruined our honeymoon."

A huge shoutout to the incredible staff at the bar, especially during the chaotic late-night hours. They handle the pressure effortlessly, making sure everyone is pleased. Agit at the bar was fantastic, always providing great service, and Berat at the restaurant made dining an absolute pleasure. Special thanks to Sevda Hanım at guest relations, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, dealing with any issues swiftly and always with a smile. Their warmth made our holiday unforgettable, and they bid us a heartwarming farewell as we left.
The service throughout our stay was impressive—meals were served quickly, and on one occasion, my order arrived in just 20 seconds! However, if you stay longer than a week, you might notice the menu becoming repetitive as it is somewhat limited.
While I wasn't a fan of the room design due to limited storage and the lack of separation between the bathroom and the bedroom, the hotel's responsive staff made up for it. Minor additions like bathroom shelves or a splashback behind the wash basin would enhance functionality, but any issues raised were addressed promptly, which I really appreciated.
As for the facilities, the hotel offers a hairdresser and spa, both run by external parties. We enjoyed two spa treatments, and the Balinese therapists were excellent. The hairdresser was also attentive and professional.
Overall, our experience was wonderful, but with some additions to the restaurant menu and small functional improvements to the rooms, the hotel could easily elevate to a true 5-star experience.

My review does not have pros and cons. I will just let the reader decide whether these are pros or cons for them:
-We went there as a family of 7 (2 standard rooms + 1 deluxe suite), during 11-18 Sep
-The check-in is done at 14:00 with no exception, and for the suite it got delayed by 30 mins.
-If you arrive early, they give you the bracelet so you can have access to all amenities before check-in. You can safely leave the luggage in the reception area until then.
-The rooms could use an upgrade. Ours smelled badly from the toilet. The toilet is literally inside the shower.
-There is a lot of noise at night from all the bars and clubs nearby until 4:00 am. We stayed in room 407 which was right behind a beach club, which blasted music until 4 am every night even if they didn’t have guests. So we couldn’t sleep very well.
-The sheets were not dirty, but stained.
-Located in a central area (2 min walk to shops, clubs, restaurants)
-The beach is right in front of the hotel and is free of charge if you are a guest
-The water both in the sea and the pool were warm. However, at times the beach and water in the sea were full of plastics and dirt. (It was very clean early in the morning and late at night)
-There are plenty of sunbeds on the beach and around the pool for all the guests.
-There is a toilet you can use outside, near the restaurant, but unfortunately it is extremely dirty and smelly. Would not recommend.
-There are kittens everywhere, and they are very friendly
-There is an 8 ball pool table available
-There is a fully equipped gym in an open space
-There is one a la carte restaurant, a pool bar and a starbucks.
-For breakfast (7:30-11:00) there is a buffet. You can pick the food and an employee adds it to the plate (they only add one piece of each, and have a kind of a judgy look if you ask for more)
-For lunch (12:30-14:00), Snack (15:00-17:00) and Dinner (19:30-21:30) you have to scan the QR code on the table you are seated at, and order through the menu that opens up.
-Do not order first course, second course and dessert in one go. We did that and they brought the dessert before the meal.
-Expect to find the exact same menu every day. They do not offer a big variety of food, especially not Turkish food.
-A lot of times we ordered things that never arrived to our table, and had to order multiple times the same thing.
-They have a lot of servers but none of them speak English. We tried asking for drinks and they didn’t understand us.
-I think it would be much better to give up on the a la carte and opt for buffet for all meals, as it would all go much faster, and much more enjoyable for the guests
-They organize games for the guests every day around 16:00-17:00, such as pool volley, soft archery, foam parties etc, with prizes.
-In the evenings, during dinner we enjoyed their shows (brazilian dance, colombian dance, live music, turkish night, bellydance) - they are different every night.
-At 00:00 every night, when the pool bar closes, the staff goes to a night club (5 min walking) and they offer you free entrance and one free drink if you go with them.
-If you tip employees, especially at the pool bar, they treat you much nicer and add more alcohol to the cocktails.
-It’s rather a 3-4 stars hotel, than 5.

I recently stayed at OTIUM Senses Very Chic Bodrum and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the resort itself is quite beautiful. The facilities, including the gym, pool, and restaurant, are well-maintained, and the beachfront location is a major plus. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, adding to the overall appeal of the stay.
However, the customer service left much to be desired. I found the staff to be unwelcoming, with a noticeable lack of warmth, particularly from Abdullah at the reception. When we inquired about the inclusivity of food and drinks in our booking, Abdullah's response was unexpectedly rude. This poor interaction marred what could have been a much more enjoyable stay. If exceptional customer service is a priority for you, this hotel might not meet your expectations.
