I’m still shocked as I write my review. We booked our stay for the weekend and aside from it being busy it seemed like the staff had no idea what they were doing or how to handle anything. The only redeemable person was Omar who worked at the check in. Breakfast was super chaotic; long lines with people cutting in front of you and the staff not able to handle the situation at all and once you made it inside the restaurant you realize there were many empty tables. Multiple wrong orders even though they have cards for you to fill out with table numbers. They have an “elite” area for platinum members but no kids allowed; absolutely ridiculous. So many staff but no coherence at all. We asked for an outdoor heater to be moved next to our table with three little kids all under 8 as it was pretty cold in the evening and the staff told us there was no more propane so he can’t bring us one. So we told them there’s one just nearby that he can move over and he refused to move it and told us that’s only for the a la carte customers. What an absolute shame so we just left. I can’t believe they kept telling us the W stood for warm, welcoming and witty, more like an absolute wreck. There’s a kids club with a 2 hour per day limit which is honestly optically nice but a bit dirty. The hotel itself is so beautiful with amazing views and the rooms are impeccable but the service, minus the housekeeping staff who are very kind, is an absolute disaster; It just left us so disappointed, definitely not coming back.

Hotel is great. I took a promotional upgrade to suite and it was a great deal. The staff arranged treats my child to make the experience memorable. The view from the room and balcony is amazing , overlooking the f1 race course. The breakfast was amazing spread , indian , continental,chinese etc. The options for kids are great. We also had a private beach entry , a well maintained and cozy space limited to guests only. All in all a great place to stay if you are visiting Yas island for theme parks. The hotel provides a very convenient shuttle service every 15 mins to various theme parks and malls nearby.

I have just celebrated my husband’s birthday in W. The birthday set up was fantastic. The staff are really friendly and the food is very good and creative . On top of that they accept dogs and even have a dog menu :) One minus as for me I hear the noise from racing tracks . I assume there is some training going on as we are pass F1. Anyhow highly recommending this hotel especially if you plan to join the concert in Etihad arena .

I recently stayed at W Yas Island Abu Dhabi and unfortunately it did not meet the luxurious standard I was expecting. The hotel looks incredibly unique and impressive from the outside, but the interior didn’t feel as high end. The room itself was spacious, however our balcony view was obstructed, which was disappointing for the price point. Throughout the stay, I had to call Whenever/Whatever multiple times for very basic items, and either the delivery took forever or it was completely forgotten. I had to request a simple dental kit three separate times before receiving it. Breakfast was also not the experience I anticipated for a hotel of this level guests were coming in wearing hotel room slippers, which felt out of place. As a Gold member, I received an email before check-in asking whether I wanted chocolate, red velvet cake, or a fruit platter as a welcome amenity. I requested the fruit platter, but was given chocolate instead (which I couldn’t even eat). When I called to correct it, I was told they can only send an amenity “one time,” even though I wasn’t asking for anything additional just the item I had originally selected. Overall, the service and attention to detail didn’t match the luxury branding of the hotel, and I left feeling quite disappointed.

We stayed here over the F1 weekend. We paid premium prices for the four days we stayed. Our experience was that from 10am until 4am for 3 nights and 10am until 6am for 1 night we were kept awake by the parties on the wet deck (floor 9, we were on floor 7). We measured the noise at 90db (that's more than the F1 starting grid!) The management understood our complaint but we're unable to help because the noise was loud in all rooms so couldn't even move us. The noise and vibration even with earplugs and noise cancelling head phones on was such that you couldn't get any quality of sleep which is of course what you pay the hotel for. The management have refused to compensate us for our suffering because we booked with F1 Experiences and not direct with the Hotel. The Management are clearly well versed in managing the noise complaints as they promise they are dealing with it and they will get back to you and they keep this going right up to the point you leave and then it's too late because once you've left they aren't instrested any more. It's a real shame because the hotel location is fantastic for the F1 being right on the track. But party music at 90db for guests rooms guys, come on, that's just not acceptable.
