We went to Xeno Eftalia in August 2024 for our family holiday vacation. We booked a standard room for 2 adults and 2 kids under 10, and the pictures on the website looked good. However.......when we arrived there we were in for a surprise! The reception area looked good enough, but the hallway was a shock.. The carpets were not even fixed to the floor, stringy edges and dirty. Doors not secure, our door handle was literally moving, walls cracked all around the doors.. Inside the room there was 1 double bed, 1 single bed and a sofa for 1 person, that had no bedding.. Having in mind that we arrived at 3 o'clock in the morning with 2 tired kids, going back downstairs to ask and wait for bedding was not ideal. The size of the room was an issue as well. After the sofa was pulled, there were 30cm left to walk around the beds, so there's no chance for 2 people to walk in the room at the same time. I've asked the receptionist if that tiny room is for 4 people, and the response was "That's what you have booked. A standard room!" We have been to different hotels in different countries before for our summer holidays, and always have booked a standard room with no issues. This one was by far the smallest. Staff was treating customers like they didn't want to be there and there was literally One girl at the bar smiling. On the plus side: The food was tasty and a good selection, at any time of the day, but the ice cream was served only at a specific time and only at the beach bar(not in the resort). Pools were great and the slides just perfect for kids. Entertainment was quite nice, we particularly enjoyed the Turkish night, Circus, and the Foam Party. Karaoke night and Miss Eftalia night however...definitely not impressed, 10 people in the audience. Location was also good, with shops just outside and the beach close by.

Absolute horrible hotel to stay at very dated and unclean food not for the English. entertainment for the children are absolutely garbage more interested in entertaining the adults. 2 of our kids have came home with a nasty bacteria skin infection can only be from the pool. I ate 1 meal a day and that was breakfast just about manageable. water slides not manned kids walking in front of them as your coming down resulting I’m me damaging my ligament and cartilage in my knee in order to stop me flattening a little girl this was our second day and ruined the rest of the holiday as I couldn’t walk I wouldn’t even recommend it to them coming over on the dinghy’s in fact we even tried to get a early flight home but non available wouldn’t go back if the offered me 2 week free overall place is a dump the only star and can give is 1 and that’s for the beautiful weather we had

On arrival to the hotel we were met at reception and given a good brief of our rooms. The language barrier didn’t seem to be an issue as their English was fairly good considering. The hotel was very well located, walking distance to shopping malls, McDonald’s, Burger King, other food facilities if you wanted. Hotel had its own section of the beach which was very good, food, drinks, ice creams all day, kids loved it. Quality of rooms was good, staff were amazing! Really friendly and made us as a family feel at ease! Couple lifeguards got told of for the interaction but from a family point of view it was better when they were interacting with the kids. Entertainment was very good in the evenings, throughout the day they could play more music by the pool but also very good for the kids. Pools were very clean, well looked after. The manager of staff made us feel so welcome ever day, couldn’t have been anymore helpful. He also helped me with a surprise birthday party during the entertainment for my wife. Other families over there were very friendly, made friends with some other nationalities that used google translate to talk. I can not fault this hotel or the staff. Amazing stay and we would definitely go back. Thank you all for everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spent 2 weeks at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Alot of food but it was the same food for the whole 2 weeks. Don't forget those sunbeds, yep, make sure you're up early to claim one. Rooms were very well kept and a short walk to the private beach with as much ice cream as you can eat. All in all, a relaxing 2 week holiday with wall to wall sunshine.

It’s a nice hotel to spend vacation with your family! Room: Interior and decor is not brand new and modern, but rooms are clean. There is a fridge, a conditioner and a safe in a room. I would not say the safe is really safe, it opens with a key, but it’s a plus that you have it anyway. In the bathroom audibility is brilliant with neighbours :D You can literally chat with a neighbour while cleaning your teeth. If windows lead to the inner yard, it would be very loud in the evening during the evening entertaining program (closing the window does not help). Programs are nice though, so you’ll be able to observe from the balcony, it’s a bright side. Personnel: Reception staff is polite and friendly, they always helped us even when there were some annoying problems. But the cleaning ladies don’t speak English at all, if you have to explain something you’ll need to use a translator. Food: There is a really huge variety of dishes during breakfast, lunch and dinner. I attached a photo with a long table full of different plates - this is only desserts variety. You can also have snacks and drinks during the day in a snack bar and on the beach. Pool and aquapark: Pool is not very large, but there are hundreds of beach chairs around it, so, most of time there is no space to swim, you can just sit in a water, because there are too many people. But this mini aqua park is great! It is fun and there is no line usually. Beach: Located in about 5-7 minutes walking from the hotel. It is totally nice and always clean. It is sandy pebble, so if you don’t like pebbles, probably it could be uncomfortable to approach the sea. There is also a box on the beach providing water sports services where you can enjoy parasailing, water scooter or banana (there is much more options).
