We loved staying here! We were warmly welcomed and were assisted whenever needed. The staff was so friendly and happy; specifically Jason that brought the pool activities/ workouts. We looked forward to his workouts every morning in the pool! The food was amazing, even with someone in our group having a gluten allergy. Lisbeth and all of the bartenders were amazing and made our vacation 10x better!

Paradise Ruined, Renovation NOT Progressing, Do NOT recommend booking
Zoetry is in shambles, Paradise will never be the same!!!
This is painful to write but necessary for so many people who either have reservations or want to book.
This was my absolute Favorite resort, the ONLY resort I consistently gave 5-star reviews. If you go back through my vacation history, you will see I have spent 21 days at different Secrets resorts since September, last trip in December. During these vacations, I ran into workers who are now EX-Zoetry. I am in WhatsApp contact with some, so I do have an inside line to what is going on. If you were a frequent guest, such as myself, you know the previous team at Zoetry was second to none. A real family feel, where you were taken care of, experienced homemade dishes, great service, a small but private beach and ocean that was roped off for us.
It took the place and especially the people to bring about this perfection. The previous workers can no longer wait, people need to provide for their families, PEOPLE NEED TO EAT!!! Most of the excellent Zoetry Team has already moved on to other jobs out of necessity. They were promised a December reopening, they tried to hang on, we are in January and WORK HAS STOPPED!!! Recently the electric at the building was turned off!!!! If you don't pay the bills, Mexico will cut you off!
I credit Tina Ferrara for the current construction photo's just taken, I am posting here.
I write this for all the guests with bookings - please move on. Cancel and make other plans. I previously visited Zoetry Villa Rolandi a couple times each year, I want to return but cannot. THERE IS NO REOPENING DATE, WORK HAS STOPPED, ELECTRIC IS OFF. I recommend nobody take the booking risk until work fully resumes - IF EVER!!! I can let you know if it does - but must say IF IT REOPENS, IT WON'T BE THE SAME!!!!
This is a very sad, unexpected, state of affairs!!!! I am posting a few pictures to remember Paradise as it once was, along with the current rumble and STOPPED PROGRESS!

The hotel was nice, and the cold towel upon arrival was welcome. The food was pretty good, but service took a long time. The beach was pretty dirty and there were ants all in the sand, which made it to where we couldn’t spend time there. The pool area was crowded and often times unless you got there early there wasn’t a chair available.
The room was visually impressive, but the bed felt like bricks, and there was mold in the shower.
There was also a lack of available excursions. It made it kind of boring.
It was a nice time, but can’t say I’d come back.

This is a fine dining restaurant where the atmosphere is nice but food is marginal. The setting was awesome, we watched the sun set and it was great. The service was OK but could be better. The food was only a three star. This was the most expensive meal we had and at the bottom for food quality. My salmon was undercooked, the rack of lamb was not cooked to the diner’s liking. Will not be going back here.

This destination was amazing. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The hotel is beautiful with a gorgeous pool that looks out to the Caribbean. The restaurant is open air and has a lot of natural lighting and also has an ocean view with seats right by the window. The food and service was amazing. I will also add that stepping into their restroom feels like walking into a different region. The air was nice and crisp/cool and smelled very good lol. Highly recommend for those willing to rent a golf cart/moped or take a taxi to the lower part of the island.
