The hotel is lovely and 100% worth the money. The staff is very nice and helpful.
We had some issues with our room and filled it out in an internal survey and it got handled straight away by their customer experience manager (she was lovely and easy to talk to).
The pool area is really nice with a bigger pool for swimming or chilling and a second pool with heated water for relaxation (has a jacuzzi in the corner as well)
The lobby hosts different shows every night in terms of entertainment but we have not been there for any of them.

We love this spacious, relaxed, clean hotel.
The food is good, cooked fresh by the chefs Manning the buffet.
The entertainment in the evening is muted, yet the choice is there are plenty of live music venues late into the evening.
Some people still queue to bag a sun lounger ....don't bother though, there are plenty and why spoil the relaxed atmosphere with an anxious queue?

Hotel staff were lovely, especially the pool bar staff, pool man and spa ladies. Food in the pool bar and breakfast was also very nice. Spa was lovely and would highly recommend using this during your stay. Location is also very good. Lots of good restaurants on door step.
For a luxury a hotel though some things let it down massively. You need to pay for pool towels unless you want to use the same ones for your entire stay. You have to pay for the safe everyday. You only get one complimentary bottle of water (most hotels give you this everyday) food for room service was poor. There is pool tables in the hotel which again you have to pay for. None of this was explained during book in. Entertainment was ok. Not a problem for most but average age of guests was around 70. Air con in room is also not that cold.
All in all it’s a nice hotel but felt they tried to grab every penny they could. For the price I wouldn’t return.

Great hotel for couples as it is beautifully quiet. Piano playing in reception gives the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. Great food, great entertainment and a great chill factor. What more do you want?

Updated/edited review after perfect first stay:
Second stay here, first time was 5 stars this time will probably be the last. Had problems with room keys failing and having to go from third floor to reception to get them reissued. Complained to the guest experience manager about the card issues and mentioned how the room door doesn’t close fully against the frame (half the door seal is missing), he said he would get someone to check the door seal/latch and then called the room to say the manager wanted to look which was fine. Waited for the manager to appear which didn’t happen and nobody looked at or adjusted the door.
If you fancy an early night or don’t stay up late avoid room 0-10 on each floor as the entertainment from the lobby is like being at a concert.
