We visited Mauritius in March, despite some controversial reviews about the weather, we enjoyed it. Indeed the weather was changing dramatically but most of the time rain was very short.
Hotel itself was amazing, I think we did a great choice for the first timer in Mauritius. I liked that there were al lot of free space where you could feel yourself not overcrowded. Rooms were good quality it feels that renovation was completed.
Food was amazing, mostly we ate in dining area and it was super nice. Everyday something new, versatile cuisines.
Service was also great, everyone was helpful and tried their best to facilitate our vacation to be memorable.
I would definitely recommend!!

- the location is great, the sunrise are amazing
- good choice of pools and restaurants, the decorations are very nice. The resort is clean.

- the service is very good, personal is very helpful and friendly
- rooms is cleaned 2 times per day, which is great.
Negative:
- for the rooms I would give max. 4 stars. We had small ants and the decoration is basic. We had a Junior Suite. The location was great though, with ocean view.
- very noisy. Doors are smashed, kids are crying everywhere. There is a pool dedicated to people who want silence. But I would suggest to accommodate the families with kids separately from the solo or couples.
- very disappointed with the beach. The alges are not cleaned, not recommended for the snorkeling lovers - there are no fish or corals 20-30 meters from the beach. There is a limit for the swimmers so you cannot go further because of the boats.

Awesome place. The rooms with sea view are awesome. The staff is very nice, sometimes quite-over-nice. The tennis courts are great. The beach is clean and the food is very good. Also they have shows every evening with different artists from the island. We attended a wedding there and everything was as expected, awesome. Great place! Ps: I recommend taking the 1day excursions around the island there are a lot of things to see. 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽

Well, let’s have a bit of a long (for my usual ones) review. We (I & my partner) love Constance in general & have been in other ones as well, but this is by far the low rating one. They have a lot of water features, which I expect a lot of maintenance costs, thus the high rates.
Apparently, they want to “push” the guests towards the open-buffet, which we hate. They claimed that that all restaurants are fully booked, but when you go there they are literally empty. Is some guest don’t show, then accommodate the ones wishing to sit & eat. On the second night after “begging” and explaining that my partner is pregnant they put us in the Japanese restaurant a bit earlier than opening hour. Again, literally no one else was there till we left.
Coming back to the open-buffet restaurant. The service is awful, I can’t remember how long I had to keep my hand up to be noticed, but nothing, my partner had to stand & walk toward the waiter to get us something to order for drinks. Additionally, the food for a 5🔅hotel is way below expectations. Undercooked chicken, only one choice of red meet, but at least they had smelly urchins. For breakfast they had only cheddar cheese & I had u ask again for a slice of feta cheese.
Not very impressed & definitely not worth the money you pay for this hotel.

Overall good stay and nice service.
Starting with reception, the welcoming was really good. The team was so professional and friendly. Everything was explained in a nice way.
The room was good overall and equipped with all basic amenities. The downside was the AC which was barely cooling. Other problem was the bugs which were found in the room and the bathroom.
Despite being clean room, the bugs can be handled in a better way compared to other resorts.
The food was really good with variety of restaurants plus the open buffet in the main restaurant. I did like both breakfast and dinner buffet which have wide variety of options and various theme in different nights.
The downside was probably inconsistent service in the restaurant. Sometimes it’s really top notch while sometimes it’s just average.
The location and the facilities are overall good with several things to do and lovely beach.
Pricing is considered average.
