All-inclusive
Ocean El Faro is an all-inclusive resort that provides a 24-hour service. The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

What a fantastic hotel experience! From the minute we walked in, we felt right at home. Mario at the lobby bar was a real gem - super friendly, always ready with a smile and an aperol spritz and beer. He made our evenings extra special with his great service. The hotel itself was comfy, clean, and we have really enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to come back!

I had the pleasure of being served by Juan Esteven at the main pool. From the moment I approached the pool, their welcoming demeanor and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for a fantastic experience. Not only were they efficient and attentive, but they also took the time to engage in friendly conversation, making me feel like a valued guest. Their professionalism and warmth truly elevated my time at the resort, and I can't wait to return for another great service while I’m enjoying the pool. My cup was always full. Highly recommend!

This is a 5 star, but only if you're white or fair skinned. I'm brown canadian, and we were treated okay but we witnessed others being treated exceptionally. Kind of a bummer but life's not fair I guess.
Also, they checked me into the wrong room. When I tried to call them to tell them they said they don't have the room available even though I paid for it. Room service didn't answer my calls, guest services kept transferring me away and front desk just said not available when called. Next morning I go to the front desk and they had the room available and checked me into it right away. There was no restitution or compensation for the wrong room. I planned on going to the rooftop jacuzzi that night but nope.
I removed one star for each of those issues, but other than that the hotel is quite nice and well maintained.
If it weren't for the hint of racism I would have loved to return here on the privilege side. I doubt it's something the hotel can fix as it might be a deeper cultural issue.

Our first day at the resort and we celebrated our anniversary at the French Blue Moon restaurant. Narda and Eduardo were our servers and both were excellent. They gave us perfect service even without mentioning what we were celebrating. So far our trip to the Dominican has been excellent in no small part to the resort itself. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful first day!

The Ocean El Faro was an awesome resort that I booked last minute for a steal. The family pool was so much fun even though there were some kids there, you barely even noticed them. The bartenders and poolside service were exceptional. Juan Steven and Luis were super attentive at all times and made sure nobody’s cup was ever empty. There was plenty of poolside entertainment as well as a DJ who played awesome upbeat music. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice. I highly recommend!
