This hotel was a Priceline express deal. First of all it is definitely not a 4 star hotel and I was kinda stressed reading the reviews. HOWEVER, my daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The location you cannot beat and the staff were all super nice. We had what I believe was a handicap room on the 9th floor. Plenty of space for my daughter and all our clothes/makeup strewn around! I don't know why the other rooms looked like but we were quite pleased with ours. After a long day running around we were happy to be in our little cocoon. There are two elevators and yes they are cramped but whatever they worked. Get the chocolate blackout cake at the Serendipity cafe in the lobby! All in all I would probably stay there again because the location/price point can't be beat. And yes my $500 deposit was returned the day of checkout.

Terrible stay. No fridge, tea or coffee facilities. Had to move furniture to open door completely to get suitcases in, even then nowhere to open our luggage except for on the bed which sounded like it would collapse at any moment. Toilet wouldn't even flush tp, so lobby was a regular visit. House keeping gained a portable charger I can't find since my travels and finally, after checkout, we received a charge for apparently smoking in our room! Researching this shows it's a common scam over years. Never again! Read the fine print people. Do not recommend.

Wish I could give zero stars. Miserable experience. Booked this hotel because they said they were affiliated with a parking garage that charges $40 for overnight parking. The front desk gave me the wrong address 4 times and I had to drive around for another hour- missing my dinner reservation. The front desk attendant told me he put my phone number in with the garage for the discount but upon leaving they charged me $75 for the night. The room was the size of a cubicle and even though we booked for 2, we were only given one towel. The pillows felt like concrete slabs and the bed sounded like it was going to collapse when my husband and I layed on it at the same time (we’re both thin). You can hear every noise in the rooms down the hall and the elevator was the size of a closet. Ruined my night. Horrible horrible do not stay here.

One of the worst hotel experiences of our lives. We felt truly jibbed. The rooms smelled like piss, the ceiling looked like there were pipe leaks, the housekeeping didn’t even change the sheets. No microwave, no fridge, no closet, and we are two relatively lean people who struggled to even fit in the bathroom. Maria who worked in the front was very blunt and rude and did not want to communicate, the other staff were nice but interacting with her made our experience horrendous. The location might be ideal but with how loud it is and how thin the walls are, you’re much better off staying somewhere else! If you need a recommendation for a better place choose the Hampton inn at grand central! free breakfast! Much more spacious! And almost the same price usually

Four star hotel - no way.
1.had to sign a contract paper to get a room.
2. Room was way too noisy to sleep. No matter earplugs were waiting us in the room. Poor windows.
3. Their site tells nothing about the facade renovation. That is Ysuper noisy too.
4. Shower temperature knob was not working and so didn’t the telephone.
5. The elevators absolutely under sized. 2 tiny elevators for 208 rooms / 10 floors. What us this?
Note: No option to use stairs when going up.
6. Tried to book a fridge beforehand via email, but no answer. On the reception, they always said ”tomorrow” but never happened.
7. Lastly. The 500$ margin on the account:
That never was released. I had to call myself to my bank after 18 days after leaving the place.
I understand our case must be just a tip of the iceberg.
Do not risk your holiday, choose another hotel. The location is good, but there are dozens of hotels close by.
