It was my first visit to this Sandals resort and frankly I was a bit disappointed. First, I was surprised that the resort is located in the neighborhood. Heaps of trash right outside of the gates of the resort. One would think that the resort would take the initiative to clean up the mess immediately outside if nothing else so guests aren't greeted with it. Next, the rooms. Our room was beautiful, however the details are what matters most. The bathroom faucet was entirely too far from the basin, so every time we used the sink, water would splash everywhere. The half piece of glass in the shower didn't keep water from splashing all over the floor. The tub was entirely too tall, I hit my shins entering the showering every day. Our patio door was a struggle to open, we literally had to kick the door open. Our hot water appeared to be on a timer, we lost power several times during a rain shower. Not a storm, but a regular passing rain shower. Our server in the French restaurant was just shy of rude. Everyone at our table was afraid to ask her for anything. Meanwhile, our server at the Hibachi restaurant was incredible. Someone in my group told me that he had been promoted after our experience. I hope that's true :) Overall, my experience here was just okay. It was a short trip so I didn't get a chance to experience all that the resort had to offer. I cannot see myself returning here but I wish all Sandals Ochi travelers well.

I was so grateful for the team at Sandals! I left my phone on the bus traveling to the airport, I was worried and stressed. Anastasia at the airport was beyond helpful reaching out to find the driver and our driver Prince quickly found my cell phone and brought it to me at the airport. All the workers were amazing but I can’t state enough how grateful I was for them helping me out. Great customer service is beyond appreciated and helpful in times of stress.

The service for the entire resort was fabulous! There is nothing absolutely to complain about it! The grounds were well kept. Every time we left our room and returned; it was cleaned. The restrooms at the resort were always cleaned and remained odor free. Everyone there was courteous. There are 16 amazing restaurants to choose from. The meals were always delicious! The waiters/waitresses were always clean and served you with a smile. I most certainly will return! I would most definitely encourage anyone and everyone who is able to go, please go! You won't regret it!

We just got home from Sandals Ochi for 5 nights! We stayed on seaside but we went to the Hillside and Ocean Club a lot. The Hop is easy and you go between the 3 areas of the resort on these buses.
Get reservations for French breakfast, so delicious and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet all the other mornings. The places that require reservations were def the best food. The only restaurant that we didn’t love was the southern table. Steak was bad and fried chicken was not good but we’re from the south so we are used to good steak and chicken.
We went to The Rabbit Hole several nights, so fun! We enjoyed so many different pools and different areas of beach. Find the ice cream in each area, there’s 3 that I know of.
We loved loved the Silver Steel Band at the amphitheater - they were amazing!
We enjoyed the silent dance party.
We got 2 couple massages at seaside spa. Taylor and Christopher are amazing and so professional. The spa on hillside was bigger and had a few more options.
Go to Dunn’s Falls - we ask for a private car instead of doing excursion. $30 each to get in and driver charged $30 per person. (Driver stayed with us)
We also opted for a private car to and from the airport. $200 each way for 4 people. We had great drivers.
We had some photos made by the photo team and I bought 3 individual pictures, $20 each. They were great quality pics.
I was very pleased with this resort. First time in Jamaica and first time with sandals.

We just had our fifth stay at Sandals Ochi and it was wonderful! It has become our home away from home. The room was just what we asked for and the staff are kind and incredibly helpful. The food is amazing and we had a wonderful massage at the spa. I highly recommend Ochi and can’t wait to go back in July 2025.
