The hotel itself is nice enough, rooms big and air conditioned which is a must in the heat. The food wasn't great, unless at the pool bar where the food is much better than the restaurant inside (we ate at the bar more often than inside) Staff are very friendly although not quick at all. Entertainment was good and the trips sold at the hotel were excellent. Not as good as other 4* hotels we've stayed at.

I just got back from Barcelo Santiago 2 days ago from our a week holiday and I have nothing to say just I love it here. We stayed in all inclusive and I really enjoyed my time there. We got a super nice room with a really stunning view. At first we were thinking if we should stayed somewhere closer to touristic areas but then we decided to booked this hotel because we don't want to stay in too busy city and we booked as all inclusive so mostly I spent my time in hotel which was perfect for us. The food in the restaurant was great. Also the foods from pool bar. You have so many choices and I just love it that I could literally eat and drink all day😂 The cocktails was sooooooooo good and they have so many choices for you (I LOVE frozen daiquiri, I think I ordered at least 5 a day) 😂 The staff was so friendly and super nice sometimes it can take a while until they come to your table but yeah it's really busy during the peak times. We didn't mind waiting for a bit. (But it would be a bit better if you have a bit more staff during those busy times!) We booked the balinese bed for our last 3 days at hotel and I really enjoyed it. So private and so comfy it worth the money for sure in my opinion. They have a lot of activities you can join and also shows at night every nights! I really love it! Ps. I enjoyed everything at the hotel, the food, location, all the staff and the crazy view and everything. We do all inclusive once a year, me and my partner agreed that this trip with Barcelo Santiago is probably one of the best and we'll definitely wanna come back again in the future 💛

Beautiful location. Large rooms, many with stunning views. Hotel service excellent. Fantastic choice of food in restaurant with a themed night every night. Drinks in restaurant very reasonably priced. This was our second visit and we'll definitely come again.

We stayed at Barceló Santiago for 3 nights. The rooms with Los Gigantes view are the best view one could imagine staying in a resort. It’s terrific! With clear view of the sea, Los Gigantes cliff and sunset. They were flexible with providing us the room we wanted. I also had the experience of coordinating with their Guest Experience team to arrange for birthday surprise and it was super well managed. They were always available on call/email. The cake arranged by them was super delicious and they also arranged extra cake as complimentary.

A great hotel right on the coast with fabulous views. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice stroll down to the beach and harbour. Buffet breakfast and dinner excellent. Rooms clean and modern. Adults only makes it very peaceful.
