Hotel was nice the amenities we used we loved. We requested a volcano bay view and we got it which was great. Resort food is good just pricey. We spent most our time at the parks besides coming back to relax after a long park day which the pool was never overcrowded around that time so it was relaxing. Overall we were happy with our stay.

To start with the negatives, rooms are showing age a little bit (but they were extremely clean) and we were in the newest parts of the hotel. And the food overall is pretty bland and bad with a few exceptions. But on the positive side, its location is perfect, the place is huge and amazing, love the 1950’s vibe of the hotel. The pool and lazy river gave us amazing fun for couple hours everyday. Water temp was perfect. Staff was incredible, the best I’ve ever experienced. Price was perfect for what we got. Great stay! Thank you! Would love to come again.

The resort has great amenities BUT they are old and dated. The pools, restrooms shows excessive corrosion, and rooms need refurbishing. The staff is exceptional along with the food areas, however, rotate the food selections. The food selections are consistent everyday and should be changed especially if you are staying a week. It is not luxury. However, GREAT, Friendly atmosphere. And plenty activities for the kids.

My family and I had a great time at cabana Bay. It’s very family friendly with lots of amenities for everyone to enjoy. The best part is the pool and the fire pit. I like that the pool is open until 10 PM. Our room was very clean and spacious. It had a medium sized kitchenette with microwave which was a plus for us. We did run into some problems when requesting some basic room essentials. It took a long time for room service personnel to provide us with essentials like towels and soaps. Anyhow, I would definitely come here again with my family.

This is my first experience at a Universal World Resort and was pleased. The theme is very retro and cute. The rooms are quite spacious, they have an eating/living space that can be divided from the bedroom with a sliding door for more privacy. There are 3 large pools are easily accessible. I would recommend trying the lazy river.
