We stayed at this resort for 3 days and it was perfect stay. The room view was mesmerizing. We booked ocean view with swim out. It was wonderful. Cleanliness was good. Restaurants have excellent food options. The only thing I didn’t like was the buffet . Buffet was just okay. Nice beach. Fire show and dance night was good. Overall it’s a good resort if you are looking for a stay of not more than 3 days.

As a group of 6 our family had a great time and enjoyed staying at Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa. It is a short ride from the Cancun Airport. When you arrive you are greeted by friendly staff in a beautiful lobby. We arrived early and our room was not ready but we took that time to hang out by the pool. Dinner the first night was a struggle because there was long waits to get into any restaurant, but after experiencing that I suggest you sit with Concierge and make reservations for the rest of your trip. All the restaurants had great food and friendly service, our favorite was the Hibachi. If you do not have a reservation I suggest getting to the restaurant around 6 pm (18:00) and you should have no problems. The rooms were a little dated but still very clean and great as a place to sleep. We were there on vacation so did not plan on spending much time in the room. There are activities all throughout the day and the staff is very friendly and keep you entertained. Overall I would rate this give this a 4.5 out of 5 rating. Looking forward to visiting more Dreams and Secrets Resorts.

Worth all the time spent. We were on family vacation and really enjoyed all the restaurants and bars! Right size hotel - not too crazy big nor too small size. Good quality entertainment daily evening too to relax. What we loved was that the entire hotel was clean and kept clean on daily basis by the staff. Only thing is never found anyone at the “wine concierge” to try tequila tasting. Otherwise, the overall experience was good.

Resort was great including the staff. Everybody was very friendly especially Johan as a server at the pool that helped us a couple of straight days and Javier as one of the Entertainers. Food was good with the buffet and great as individual restaurants. Entertainment was great as well EXCEPT for the Magic Show with Fernando. Fernando needs to retire. All in all, 5 stars and great resort especially when new addition is complete which was under construction this March 2024.

If you're a 15 year old who is too naive to know the "drinks" are completely watered down and don't care about nice rooms, edible food, or good facilities, then this is the place for you. The tons of teenagers at the resort were clearly the only ones seeming to have a good time pretending to be drunk on the liquor-flavored water. Unfortunately we had to spend a long weekend at Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa in Cancun for a client's event. The only reason I gave the place 1 star is for the staff, who are lovely and try their best to make a terrible place somewhat palatable. When we entered our room the smell of mold was almost intolerable. I asked the front desk to move us but the only room they had left for this night was not with the bedding we needed. However we could move to a new room on the 2nd night that had it. When we returned to our room after dinner to find the air conditioner compressor in the ceiling raining down water onto the floor opposite our closet, I now understood why the room smelled of mold! We were astounded they would actually sell a room in this state to guests! Luckily my dress for the event was covered with protective plastic, otherwise it would've been ruined. We then moved into the room with the incorrect bedding and I prepared myself for a poor night's sleep. When we told the man at the front desk we were obviously not paying for that night he balked and said we still had to pay. At each meal it was a challenge finding anything decent. The buffets offered a huge selection of "food", most of which was awful. During the event we had to walk on the beach for a few feet and there were prickly bristles all over which were very painful when you walk on them barefoot. You would think the hotel would clean them off the beach where the guests would have to be walking a few feet without shoes on! I basically ended up having a simple salad at every meal. Even the rolls were stale and tasteless. The beach and gulf water is very nice and temperate, once you get past a huge row of seaweed that spans across the entire beach. Upon leaving they try to sell you a piece of a time-share. We were never so happy to leave a resort and looked forward to airport food which was gourmet compared to this place! Embarrassed for Hyatt. It used to be a somewhat reliable brand but has gone completely downhill.
