We visited this place to celebrate our 2 year old sons birthday and it was one of the best decisions we made. The experience was so good that we ended up extending our stay. The breakfast and food was delicious and never disappointed us. They have nice activities planned for their guest on alternate evenings. The location is beautiful and soothing. The staff sees to that every guest is comfortable, including the toddlers:) .I am definitely going to this beautiful property again as it touched my heart.
The bike rental place is just outside this hotel, which makes it even more convenient

Nice small resort close to several restaurants. Rooms were well appointed with nice balconies. Service was excellent. There are a few old bikes you can borrow as well. Very small fitness room.
One disappointment was the lack of vegan options for the breakfast buffet as well as some confusing food labels that labeled one thing vegan but also had lactose. Note that the cafe does have an Impossible meat vegan rice bowl but you need to make sure to order it without the egg.
A weird policy of the hotel is that only three devices per room can connect to the WiFi.

“This hotel we’ve always dreamed of staying in, perfect for precious family time, like a gift that heals the soul. The staff took great care of us from the first day to end of period.
The room was spacious, clean, and had a great atmosphere. We could even see natural hornbills. The breakfast was extraordinary. Mr. M and all the staff paid attention to every detail. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back again.”

Overall a great stay at this very quiet and chilled hotel. For the price we paid it was great value and we'll certainly be coming back for a weekend trip from Bangkok.
We loved the little extras, wine and nibbles one evening evening, complimentary ice cream and even the offer of a mimosa at breakfast.

My Partner and I just returned home from staying 8 nights at Cape Kudu Hotel on Koh Yoa Noi. We stayed in a pool villa and our experience was exceptional. Upon booking, the hotel offered travel from the Phuket airport directly to the hotel. I would highly recommend this service for your arrival as its only slightly more expensive than arranging your own travel (approximately $70 USD, apposed to $50+ USD in arranging your own travel which is dependent on taxi fares). This service made our arrival effortless and we were welcomed to Cape Kudu with a lovely drink and cookies. This level of hospitality was maintained throughout our stay by not only the hotel staff but the affiliated tour guides and the locals were warm and welcoming as well.
During our stay we enjoyed great meals from the on-site restaurant, but the real gems were the multiple local restaurants within a five minute walk from the hotel. My personal favorite called "By the Sea" and was just north of the hotel. Further, every meal was set to the stunning backdrop of Phang Nga and it's limestone islands.
For the room, we stayed in the pool villa. This is a stand alone building with an exceptionally private 1.3m deep plunge pool, which was our most used feature during our stay. The bed was definitely firm when compared to Western hotels, but still provided us with wonderfully restful sleep. The mini bar within the room was fairly priced with some of the drinks such as Chang beer being priced at 110THB ($3 USD). And the daily housekeeping staff was polite, accommodating, and cleaned the room thoroughly and swiftly. I will note however, it is better to leave the door unadorned rather than hanging the "please make up my room" side of the do not disturb sign on the door as there is little disernable difference between them from afar.
My biggest tip for staying in the pool villa at Cape Kudu is to not be trapped by your private pool and take a dip or sunbathe by the main pool as there will be complementary treats either handed directly to you or a table with a smoothie machine or ice cream. We were so happy with our private pool we missed out on these little perks for the first few days of our stay.
All in all, our stay at Cape Kudu in a private pool villa was an experience that would easily cost $500-$800 USD per night at home in the USA, but averaged out to be around $200 per night.
I would highly recommend Cape Kudu for an unforgettable and exceptionally relaxing vacation at a very affordable price!
