Agadir is a wonderful choice for a luxury holiday in Morocco.
As well as it’s 10km stretch of seafront, this fabulous resort is also rich in culture and offers a variety of attractions and activities to tempt travellers. Add in the fact that Agadir enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year and you have a destination perfect for all seasons.
One place you will definitely want to visit during your break is the Corniche d’Agadir. This waterfront promenade is the ideal spot for a leisurely stroll, or to people watch from one of the cafes lining the walkway.
At one end of the Corniche d’Agadir is the city’s Marina. Home to a variety of shops and restaurants, it also offers options for water sports activities, as well as nightlife, with a selection of clubs and bars.
If you’re feeling in need of a little culture during your holiday, why not take a trip to the Kasbah of Agadir. Built in 1540 to protect the city from invasion, this historic mountaintop landmark was partially destroyed by and earthquake in 1960. However, a section of the Kasbah’s ramparts remain and provide a peak into Agadir’s fascinating past.

A celebration of the music and culture of Morocco’s Berber community, the Timitar Festival takes place in Agadir every summer.
