The setting of the Hyatt Place Taghazout is truly beautiful — the swimming pool and garden are amazing, and the terrace offers a wonderful view of the ocean. These outdoor areas are definitely the highlight of the stay.
However, the overall experience fell short of what one would expect from a five-star hotel. The team, particularly at the reception, lacks maturity and professionalism — the behaviour of some staff members felt a bit odd and not up to the brand’s usual standards.
Breakfast was disappointing, both in quantity and quality, and did not meet five-star expectations. The rooms themselves are average at best — functional, but without the comfort or attention to detail you would expect at this level.
In short, the location and facilities are excellent, but service quality and guest experience still have a lot of room for improvement. It feels more like a 3 star hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant, with an amazing team of staff who were always kind, professional, and ready to help. Our housekeeper, Latifa, deserves a special mention – she was incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job keeping our room spotless. We even had the carpet washed during our stay, which left everything smelling so fresh.
The amenities were excellent, with high-quality Nuxe products provided in the bathroom, which was a lovely touch. Every evening we enjoyed breathtaking views of the sunset – honestly, I have never seen such a stunning sunset before.
Although the hotel does not have direct access to the sea, they offered private transport to their beach every 30 minutes, which worked out perfectly.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to come back. We will definitely visit you again ❤️

I stayed at Hyatt Place for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The reception team was very friendly and welcoming, which made me feel at home right away. I really enjoyed the breakfast—delicious and with a great variety to choose from. The pool area was also very relaxing and added a nice touch to my stay. Overall, everything was perfect and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended! 🎉✨

My husband took me here for my birthday trip. First of all the moment we arrived we were greeted with huge smiles and someone to take our luggage for us in hold. We had some booking in issues as we book through loveholidays and the hotel did not receive the payment through the company although we paid and had proof. Shout out to Laila who works at the reception desk who was so helpful and accommodating. And also Mohammed who was very accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The cleaners were very clean. The only downside was the very limited food options for dinner. The food and drink are pricey in the area and it’s a way from any convient shops. I like how there is a shuttle that comes every hour to take you down to the beach. The breakfast options were great also. My only advice would be if there were more entertainment at the evenings.

We arrived at 11pm, approached reception to a miserable looking girl who barely looked up or said anything.. bad start.
Eventually another member of staff came over and greeted us with warmth and a smile, he was my go to staff member for the rest of the week.
The hotel is very good, the facilities and services are great. The pool area in particular is worth booking alone.
However because this hotel is rated 5 Star there were a few things that bothered me that wouldn't have if this was 4 star or lower.
First of all our initial room we were provided was at the rear of the hotel. It got no sun throughout the day and worst of all, it was directly above the staff entrance/exit.
The staff work until midnight and beyond. THEY WERE VERY NOISY! Even with the balcony doors closed I could hear them clear as a bell.
After 2 sleepless nights of this noise we requested another room, which we received by 4pm that afternoon, much better view at the front of the hotel overlooking the pool area and beach.
Those rooms above the staff entrance need soundproofing.
The Hybar ruins the peaceful ambience of the pool area several times during the week by blasting insanely loud, adult themed music(there are little kids playing nearby, not cool!) by a DJ who sounds like he's just skipping his Spotify playlist when he gets bored with the song 30 seconds in.
Seriously that place needs closing down and turned into something useful, like a grocery shop.
The hotel is next to nothing so they could do with a decent shop on site. The mini shop in reception doesn't have much.
They offer free shuttles to Agadir twice a day but no returns.
9 shuttle rides to the beach and 8 returns is too much considering the beach is barely a 30 minute walk away.
I couldn't help think this short route could be extended slightly to include 2 more drop offs to nearby Taghazout, looping round on the N1 road to drop off at Tamraght.
This would be much better in my opinion and would save people a lot of money in taxi fares, which in-turn would make them want to visit again in the future.
Overall a good experience, but ended up spending far too much travelling by taxi's to nearby places for food and leisure.
Close the loud bar and provide more shuttles to and from nearby towns and attractions.

We had a fantastic stay at Sofitel Royal Bay in September. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was nice and spacious, comfy bed and housekeeping were great. We were very impressed with the quality and the variety of the food and it was a highlight of our stay. We had the buffet for two dinners, both times were delicious with so much choice. As well as the buffet, one night there was a BBQ counter where you could pick from a range of meat, fish and seafood skewers, on another night there was a shwamara counter. Breakfast was also buffet style with a pancake station, with
different styles of freshly made pancake/ crepes and donuts.The pool is stunning and has lots of beds around it that are no additional cost. There is a private beach area within the hotel grounds (across a pathway from the beach) with more beds and sun canopies. It's about an hour walk to the marina area along the seafront, but taxis are everywhere and cheap. We had an evening flight back and the hotel allowed us to have a complimentary late checkout (2pm) to allow us a morning spent in the pool and beach with time to shower in our room before check out. The beach is lovely and the waves are brilliant for surfing. The hotel arranged a last minute private transfer to the airport (250 dirams) which was great. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve just spent a week at the Sofitel Royal Bay in Agadir, and unfortunately, I’ve been quite disappointed by the overall service. Based on my global and local experience, I would rate this hotel more as a 4-star rather than a 5-star establishment.
First, the hotel is undergoing continuous construction and drilling throughout the day. There was no prior notification or communication from the staff about this, which made for an extremely disruptive stay—especially with a baby in tow. The constant noise, combined with no warning from the hotel, completely ruined the chance for a relaxing experience. When mentioned to the reception, there was no real concern or attempt to resolve the issue, which felt pretty inconsiderate.
Additionally, the service at the breakfast buffet was consistently underwhelming. Tables were often left without napkins or water cups, and the staff seemed indifferent to whether guests needed anything, like coffee or tea. Despite staying for an entire week, the lack of attention to detail and overall hospitality was a constant letdown each morning.
For a hotel of this caliber, these issues should not have been overlooked, and it’s a shame because the potential for a great stay is there. Unfortunately, these service lapses left me questioning whether this truly deserves a 5-star rating and the price-point.

It is an amazing place to have a break and enjoy with the family!
The staff of the hotel is the real asset to the place. Everyone, was extremely polite and attentive.
The quality of breakfast and dinner is commendable and the willingness of the staff to make your breakfast and dinner a memorable experience was wonderful!
A couple of suggestions to make the experience even better
1) I understand that the customers were able to enjoy the Moroccan tea. It would be great if the customers can enjoy the Moroccan coffee experience as well! For example Nous Nous
2) The safe lockers in the room should not be placed above the refrigerator as the heat from the refrigerator was causing the contents of the safe locker to heat up

Reading the reviews,I'm amazed by the reviews of how past customers rate this hotel . The Hotel itself in our opinion is not a 5 star, needs plenty updates , especially the rooms. Building works around the resort during the day, drilling vibration is not what we signed up for. Staff attentiveness is 50/50. We were so disappointed when were told that drinks hot or cold is not included with Dinner even with the half board option. Please make it clear to your paying customers. Drinks non or alcohol are over priced,.... however Breakfast is good with drinks , so full up and Dinner is okay. Pool area is actually lovely. Still at the hotel , but will try to enjoy the remaining days.

The hotel is located right by the beach, and it's easy to get into town with a short taxi ride. The staff everywhere were amazing and showed so much kindness and patience with our children. Lovely hotel with great staff.
We had a really spacious room with a massive balcony.
Our cleaner Khadija did a fantastic job cleaning our room every day. Beautifully presented towel art with rose petals. Fresh sheets when required and tidied up our children's mess. The chocolates one day were a great surprise.

Fantastic staff and an inviting reception leading onto a great large pool area with the beach directly outside.
Great rooms large and comfortable.
Downside is a a repetitive evening meal buffet which is fine if you love pizza pasta and Moroccan vegetarian dishes.
Very very limited lifts to a large sprawling complex so beware if you have any mobility issues because even with baggage delivery the trek to your room.

We absolutely loved staying here! The hotel itself was stunning, the room was spacious & the balcony was lovely and big! I can’t put into words how lovely and kind the staff were, they made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious & the drinks were great! The pools and everything else were just amazing. The area is lovely with so much to do & the locals are very friendly. Entertainment was very good too and there’s a kids club that my son really enjoyed, a big thank you to Samia who was so incredibly lovely and so good with my little boy! We landed early hours this morning and we are already missing this place so much! We will definitely love to come back!

Service is usually nice but far from great.
Food is ok but nothing special.
Drinks are ok but far from tasty.
Room was big enough but definitelly not clean. The noise from corridor was terrible, especially when you travel with a small kid and don't have ear plugs.
Pools not heated when the outside temperature is around 20 degrees.
Overall not a bad experience but definitelly nothing to go back for.Considering the fact this is the top reviewed place nearby, I realy don't want to see the quality of the other hotels.

Don't expect 5 star and you won't be disappointed.
1 shower in the pool doesn't work and the second one is leaking constantly with a small stream of water, the area around it is getting really damaged by the water.
TOWELS! this hotel does not have enough towels. It's an issue that has come up in other reviews. Especially in the pool area, the towels are always in the laundry and you have to wait at least half an hour. So while the pool area is pretty you can't enjoy because you've no towel to put on the bed (and you'll need them) I saw bird poo on some beds.
While it's has nothing to do with the hotel the beach is filthy after a busy weekend.
I had a very rude encounter with one of the staff members on the beach beds.
The general attitude is to 'pat you on your back' and say 'there there' but they'll still happily take your money.
The staff are generally pleasant but the hotel is not good at fixing problems and as others have said it's the lack of 'attention to detail' that let's them down for a 5 star Hotel.

Lovely 5 star hotel and spa. Food excellent, staff friendly, beautiful rooms. Stayed in. premium suite ground floor. Delightful rooms. Some of the waiting staff are a bit slow and only seem to do one job at a time - the majority of them are very attentive though. No reason to put you off.
The real highlight is the Spa. We both had treatments. I had a traditional Hammam followed by a massage. One of the best treatments I’ve ever had in a spa. Aissam did an amazing Hammam (don’t hold it against him for being a Liverpool fan😂). Malik did one of the best full body massages I’ve had.

Just back from a great 5 night break. The resort is in a prime location on the beach. Really lovely pool areas and beach set up. Service was generally very good, but you had to go looking for staff around the pool. Food was very good and breakfast had a great choice. Mariam ( brown short hair ) was very friendly & attentive in thre morning. In fact all the staff in general were very friendly.Room was partial ocean view really spacious everything you needed. Loved the Nuxe products. We went to the spa which had an array of spa treatments available. The gym was well equipped also.In all would highly recommend and would definitely return.

It was unforgettable and amazing! The hotel is very clean and beautiful, the staff were very kind. I want to highlight the FOOD. Oh, the food was amazing. Whatever we ate, was very delicious. Young pastry chef from the main restaurant (dinner time) deserves to present his desserts at the best restaurants in the world, the small cakes made of banana cream were extremely delicious and creative! Said from the Moroccan restaurant was so helpful and kind. He made our day! One more staff member that made us laugh and happy was a Towel guy Ismael.
Evening entertainment program was great, too! We enjoyed the stay and we are thankful to the hotel for its hospitality and kindness.
However, one thing that seemed a bit unusual and unexpected was that there were no toothbrushes and toothpaste in the hotel room. We bought one in the hotel shop, but still. To have bathrobes in the rooms of the 5-star hotel would be beneficial, too.

We had the best stay here, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely could not do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable and fun.
The facilities were immaculate and were regularly cleaned and updated by various staff during our stay.
Our room was beautiful, we had a sea view suite overlooking the sea and the pool - would highly recommend. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard.
The food was excellent in all of the restaurants we ate at in the hotel including the pool snack bar, there was lots of variety and it was regularly checked by staff for hygiene and temperature which was also reassuring. Staff were also accommodating and willing to make something more bespoke, a personal highlight was the fresh pasta bar every evening where you could select your own pasta and create your own sauce, this was then cooked fresh for you by one of the chefs.
The drink selection was one of the best we’ve experienced at an all inclusive resort, offering a selection of cocktails, wines and spirits. Staff were also willing to provide service to your sunbeds and dinner table at regular intervals. The service from all food/ drink staff was exceptional.
This truly felt like a luxury resort, as a young couple who have high standards and regularly stay at beautiful hotels when we go abroad, this hotel more than deserves its 5 stars, we would be excited to return here.
The immediate local area and beach was also very clean, not too busy with lots of opportunities for excursions and activities, which are also bookable directly at the hotel for reasonable prices. Every local we encountered was incredibly friendly and we did not feel unsafe or pressured by individuals offering activities if we declined.
We chose to walk the length of the beach (around 3 miles) which is situated next to a newly refurbished walkway which can take you all the way into Taghazout, would definitely recommend.

I spent 7 nights at Pickalbatros for my birthday and honestly, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The hotel, food, staff, and overall vibe were all spot on. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel right at home.
Big shoutout to Jamal from the animation team- he's an absolute legend. Always full of energy, cracking jokes, and getting everyone involved. He’s one of those people who just brings good vibes and energy wherever he goes and genuinely made the trip even better. The whole animation team were great, but Jamal really stood out.
The whole week was so relaxing and exactly what I needed. My birthday couldn’t have gone any better - they made it such a special week.
If you’re thinking of going to Morocco, definitely check out Pickalbatros – you won’t regret it. I’ll 100% be going back!

I’ve spent 7 nights here with my husband and we had the best time. The animation team were brilliant and always put an amazing show every night. Food and room were great, would definitely recommend for others to come visit, great vibes, great hotel.

It's amazing hotel Allegro.The entire staff was polite and helpful. The room we booked was cozy, clean, with clean towels every day and a very comfortable Quinn-sized bed. This has been the best holiday ever. The animation team are the best, so welcoming and funny definitely make the holiday 100 times better, they made our holiday even better. So many things to do and activities happen throughout the day. Rooms are so clean. Couldn’t find a fault with the place or the people.
Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. The location of the hotel is very close to shops and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The atmosphere is the best through the day and even better at night with nightly entertainment and sometimes shows in the theatre. Definitely value for money.

The animation team were really nice but other than that, the hotel is VERY run down, the "all inclusive" offers only the worst an cheapest alcohol. When we arrived my room was dirty, the lady at the reception tried to tell me 3pm is when they start cleaning and it's okay. Said she would give me something for the inconvenience, she did nothing.
This is not like any other Barcelo hotel i've been to before, many other much nicer and more modern hotels nearby, i would not reccomend.

The room was comfortable and we were glad it was to the rear of the hotel, less noise from the entertainment at night. Good variety of food, lots of veg and Morrocan cuisine. Pool beds went very quickly so we had to do what everyone else did and put out towels before breakfast. You can access the beach at the back during the day. We booked a local taxi driver for our trips which worked out well. The hotel is looking a bit tired but is in a good location with good customer service. Enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at a hotel in Agadir for 5 days with my family and it was really great! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything. The rooms were clean and tidy, and we had a nice view of the pool. Breakfast was delicious every morning with lots of options. The hotel was also close to the beach, so we could walk there easily every day. Definitely a place I would recommend if you want to relax.

Overall a lovely place to stay the food is very nice for an all inclusive hotel, the restaurants are a nice touch and very convenient location with a nice private beach section, WiFi was okay, the problems start with the unprofessional reception staff, on check in being under prepared, then when trying to book restaurants and the spa they were so unhelpful and out right rude, trying to cancel appointments and say we needed to come another time, the bar staff and other employees are great but a clear favouritism towards European guests as they would get priority service and glass wear with British guests served last and in paper cups.
To conclude a lovely hotel with in a great location let down by the lack of service training with staff.

We visited again as we were so impressed last year and this year was no different.
Check in room 15 minutes, but we arrived at 10pm so it was quiet. The reception team are friendly and helpful.
The room was kept beautifully clean and it was modern in comparison to last years room. I especially love the waterfall shower. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.
The food was fantastic, the shakshouka was amazing! There was plenty of choice and variations of meals over the week. This year there were allergen labels on food, a great improvement! The waiters and kitchen team are very friendly and will always stop to say Salam! The mint tea in the morning is a must try! The bartenders are very generous with their measurements and really appreciate if you try speaking Arabic to them.
The entertainment is second to none! A new animation team greeted us, and what a wonderful group of people they are! The singer (who was there last year) is really good and very engaging with the crowd. The magician blew our minds, very funny and very good at his tricks! We enjoyed Yoga, archery, darts, pool games, water aerobics, beach volley ball and Arabic lessons during the day and had some fun in the evening with karaoke, dancing, quizzes and the Moroccan wedding. Our 6 year old loved kids club, she played games, watched cartoons, made pictures was offered face paint, mini disco and much more!

All of the staff have been helpful and friendly.
The rooms are cleaned daily as is the hotel and it always smells fresh and lovely, we have had no issues with our rooms at all!
The pool is fresh and cleaned regularly, and the entertainment team have been so amazing and welcoming to us from the moment we arrived! Katie on the animation team is amazing and so lovely and always takes the time to check in with us to see how our stay here is and getting us up and involved.

A great range of food across the main 3 restaurants. The Blue restaurant is solely fish based. Not the best protein options for my vegan girlfriend however. Otherwise the food was fresh and good.
The facilities are great, the pools, slides for kids, the gym etc. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool. The floating sun loungers were a highlight of fun for me.
The staff were all fantastic. The room. Very nice and spacious. But bring slippers for the tiled floor as they were damp from the air con. No iron or ironing board sadly.
Direct access to the beach as well via a game guard and there is a roped off area on the beach to sun bath.

Upon arrival check in took too long we were already very exhausted, it took around 1.5 hours and then the first room wasn’t suitable and the second room was 2 single beds ( for a couple) which the bed was already broken and then the third room we were given was not as nice but we managed, the rooms would often smell very bad or sewage. The cleaners were very nice and did a great job on cleaning but always forgot to replace the towels / toilet rolls ect.. our room telephone didn’t work but that was then sorted straight away. The food is very nice I enjoyed the tagine restaurant, mediterranean was ok not my fave. The main restaurant had many options and the food was good but on many occasion it was repetitive. The dessert had a great range and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My favourite part of the hotel was surely the bakery, we’d often miss breakfast and would come to the bakery for a drink and some danish pastries they were very good! I wouldn’t say I enjoyed the amenities of the hotel as much as there isn’t many things for young couples to do, the aqua park is for children and most entertainment for children.. off peak should have more adults entertainment in my opinion.. personally I think this is a great hotel for families with young children. There isn’t much to do around the area, other than the beach so you can will need a lot of taxis if you wanted to go to places. The locals and hotel staff were very kind always smiling and happy to help. Also a BIG THANK YOU to the maintenance team for going out their way to help us with helping us shave down our painting frames so we could put them in our hold luggage. It’s a new hotel but for a new start I think it’s doing very well - thank you 🙏

An unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it. In a word, LUXURY. I want to apologize from the start if I misspelled the names or if I don't remember everyone. I want to say that everything and everyone were exceptional. The cleaning staff were "heroes" for keeping everything so clean, both in the hotel and in the restaurants, pools, restrooms, and terraces. Of course, I have my favorite employees, starting with Mr. Hicham at the front desk, who speaks German and made things so easy for me. I want to mention that almost all the staff speak French and English. I also want to thank the manager of the Culina restaurant (sorry I can't remember his name), who is always so attentive with the tourists; also thanks to all the waiters for their impeccable service, especially Mariam and Massi from the Culina restaurant. The entertainment team: "THE BEST!!!Charming! I want to give a shout-out to JAMILA, Asma (my ebony goddess), Noha, Selma, especially Zourhei and Fadua (I probably misspelled their names, so I apologize). I was also very pleased with the massage at the Spa, although I can't remember Girl's name. Now, the best of all was COURT FOOD, the terrace where I had my crepes with chocolate and coffee every afternoon. I want to especially thank the manager, Mr. Mustapha, who took such good care of us, always with a smile on his face and always so professional and polite. Congratulations, and Moussa, who is also one of the best. Thanks also to the guys who made our crepes. I also want to thank Mr. Marad, the hotel manager, who found my glasses despite them being missing for over 24 hours. THANK YOU, MARAD. If I forget anyone, I apologize. There are so many of you, and I'm just... human.I also want to congratulate the guys who were skating, collecting all the glasses from the sun loungers, and who were always very kind and asked if you wanted anything to bring you. They were "artists" on skates.And how can I not thank JAMILA for the Arabic classes.It was a wonderful vacation thanks to all of you. YOU ARE WONDERFUL. I will always carry you in my heart.

I had a wonderful experience at Pickalbatros Hotel Palais Des Roses and an exceptional stay overall. The buffet locations and all dining areas, including Seafood Blue, were truly outstanding. Special thanks to waitress ( Hajar Mouhouch ) and the rest of the staff, who were attentive and highly professional throughout my visit. Our room was impeccably clean, housekeeping took great care in maintaining it each day, and the food was consistently delicious with a wide variety of options. The overall service from the entire team far exceeded expectations, making every moment of our stay pleasant and comfortable. Our journey at this resort was extremely enjoyable, and I will definitely be returning again and again!!

Amazing experience! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I loved the variety of restaurants, from traditional Moroccan food to seafood and more. The hygiene and quality of the meals were excellent, and I truly appreciated that the chefs prepared special meals for my 8-month-old baby. The swimming pools are large, beautiful, and well-maintained, with lifeguards always present, which made me feel safe and comfortable. The staff were kind, professional, and always helpful. The evening entertainment was great too.

These were the most wonderful holidays I’ve had in a long time. The entire staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so kind and always in a great mood, so attentive. I loved how well the animals at the resort were taken care of. I loved how well we were taken care of. It was truly beautiful. The food is amazing. Absolutely Paradise – A Dream Stay at Paradis Plage! 🌴✨
From the moment we arrived at Paradis Plage, we knew we had found something truly special. The room we stayed in had the most breathtaking view – waking up every morning to the sound of the waves and the sight of the ocean was simply unforgettable.
The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping service was top-notch. A special thank you to the lovely cleaning lady who not only kept everything immaculate but also brought such warmth and care to her work – she made us feel so at home.
The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A huge shoutout to Hassan, who gave us amazing recommendations for things to do and places to explore in the area – thanks to him, we discovered some real gems. And at reception, Issam impressed us with his excellent German – he made check-in smooth and was always ready to help with anything we needed.
A big thank you to Amina and Nisrine for the excellent booking process – everything was arranged perfectly, and they were both so helpful and kind throughout.
The location of the hotel is just perfect – right on a beautiful beach with a wide range of activities available. Whether you’re into yoga, surfing, or just relaxing by the sea, there’s something for everyone. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with so much to discover and enjoy.
We left Paradis Plage feeling completely refreshed and full of amazing memories. If you’re planning a trip to Morocco and want a blend of relaxation, nature, and exceptional service – this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

A very beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable rooms with great views and reception staff are very welcoming and friendly. We had an issue with our rooms and this was resolved very quickly and easily.
I would have scored service as 5 stars but sadly our experience was tarnished towards the end of our stay when £40 was stolen out of my purse from our hotel room. I was told this is quite common so I would suggest perhaps having a sign at reception that warns people to leave all personal belongings in the safe at all times (similar to warnings we see in certain car parks that gives us a heads up to be extra careful).
The location is a 3 because its quite far out from the main city of Agadir so getting a taxi is expensive. They do provide a shuttle bus twice a day but I think it would be better to have it running a bit more than twice in a whole day, perhaps a morning, afternoon and evening time slot would be more helpful.
Overall, we enjoyed our week stay.

Breakfast was fantastic every morning. Abdallah the breakfast manager and Mbark were very helpful, they brought us bananas every morning before breakfast so we could use the gym first and return. The selection in the buffet breakfast was excellent, everything you could possibly want and if it wasn’t out you can ask and they will fetch for you. Staff were brilliant and attentive. Very friendly and recognised us each morning, would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was the relaxing and enchanting experience we hoped for. Loved the breakfast. Abdullah the breakfast manager gave us exceptional service - a tour of the extensive food selection, checking in on our experience, recommending delicious foods to try and ensuring we had full cups of coffee. We stayed at the Hilton in Taghazout in October with our family. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the pictures on Booking.com showing several beautiful outdoor and indoor pools.The outdoor pool was also advertised as usable year-round — however, we only found out at the hotel that it’s only heated from January to April.- so at least in October the pool is pretty cold for extended use or small children.
Since the outdoor pools were way too cold for our small children, we wanted to use the indoor pool — but were told that access comes with a steep extra charge. This was very disappointing. I’ve stayed in many 4 or 5-star hotels and have never had to pay additional fees just to use a pool! The information about this charge is only mentioned in a very small, easy-to-miss note on Booking.com, which is very misleading.
Another negative point was the cappuccino at the pool bar: it had no foam at all and was basically coffee with burnt milk.
The cappuccino during breakfast was slightly better- it comes from an automated coffee machine: it wasn't burnt but it still tastes pretty bad. For me it's not comprehensible that many smaller hotels or even guest houses can make a proper cappuccino, but a 5-star hotel cannot.
On the positive side, the rest of the breakfast was excellent, and the staff — especially Abdallah and El Medhi — were extremely friendly and accommodating.
Overall, this hotel does not live up to 5-star standards. Misleading advertising, extra charges for basic amenities, horrible coffee and poor attention to detail made this stay a disappointment. I would not return and cannot recommend it.
Edit: I ordered room service after this review. They said it will take half an hour. It took 1,5 hours and I then got a cold panini.

I had an excellent experience dining at Anaw.From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Each dish came out at the perfect temperature, and the menu had a great balance of variety and creativity.
What really made the evening special, though, was the service. Our server, oussama went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable night. They were attentive without being intrusive, made thoughtful recommendations, and were genuinely friendly. It’s rare to find staff who combine professionalism with such warmth, and they really elevated our dining experience.

A long time ago in this specific hotel. Me and my family were having a family trip started here at the Hyatt Regency hotel which was super nice. Then went to Fairmont in Taghazout also. Even the room itself was super good. If by any chance you want to a good hotel in front of the beach please visit Hyatt regency. Even the staff were super nice. Highly recommend in Taghazout. I forgot to and if a not mistaken there are some activités to do if you are interested go ask the front desk for more info.

We loved our stay! This is the perfect getaway when you want somewhere quiet and relaxing. The rooms and views are amazing. The workers and the guests were kind. The attention to detail was wonderful. I was visiting for my bday and they sang to me during dinner . Can’t wait to go back!

I stayed here for 4 days with my family. Overall, the hotel is good and the staff are friendly. There are a few things I noticed that could be improved.
Firstly, the rooms are clean, but the sofa bed could have been cleaner. Secondly, at breakfast, when making omelettes, the same pan was used for ham. On the first day I didn’t realise this and ate the omelette, but on the second day I noticed and avoided it for the rest of my stay. As Muslims, we don’t eat pork, so it would be much better if this was cooked separately to avoid contamination. I don’t think many people are aware of this. Lastly, service at the pool bar was quite slow. For example, when ordering a refill for a drink, I had to ask 3–4 times before receiving it.
Location is a bit out of the way, but I can't complain about this as I knew this when I booked and preferred it.
Overall, it was a good stay, but with a few improvements, it could be even better.

My stay was incredible! Haitam, Salma and Tarik were all really helpful during my stay and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. Especially Haitam, taking time out of his day to ensure I checked In well and that my needs were satisfied. Great hotel with great staff! I Highly recommend!

Built in 1540 to protect the city from invasion, this historic mountaintop landmark was partially destroyed by and earthquake in 1960. However, a section of the Kasbah’s ramparts remain and provide a peak into Agadir’s fascinating past.
