The hotel is a paradise on earth!!
We were there for our honeymoon, and we had the greatest time of our lives.
The rooms are really unique with outstanding views and very clean as well.
The architecture of the hotel is not something you see everyday with marble and stone everywhere.
The outer spaces were really clean as well, despite the fact that the hotel is located on the hill and the terrace is rarely flat!
Everyone in the staff is super friendly and they went out of their way to accommodate any of our requests.
We had lunch and dinner a couple times and all the dishes were flavourful, especially the whole fish!!! The restaurant was super clean and the staff was very attentive and polite.
During our stay we felt like we were a family and anything we asked was never too much for them.
It is truly a magnificent place with the greatest views you can find.
We will definitely be back in this small paradise!!

We visited mykonos for the first time and we spend a week in this hotel. Its a bit far from the town but that was great for us cause we did not want any noise at night. Our room had unreal sea view and it was very clean. Great breakfast and dinner as well. The main pool is a bit small but you can gaze at the sea all the time with a glass of wine in your hand. The staff and all the service was great and they made you feel welcome all the time. Special thanks to Nikolas for making our breakfast unique in every way.

Smy Mykonos Suites and Villas is a beautiful boutique hotel located in Elia, Mykonos. The hotel is set in a lush garden with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need. The hotel also has a private pool, a sun terrace, and a bar.
The service at Smy Mykonos Suites and Villas is excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. They can arrange for private transfers, boat trips, car rental and restaurant reservations. They also offer free shuttles to and from the local area, such as Elia beach.
The hotel is located in a quiet area of Elia, but it is still close to the beach and the town. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
We had a wonderful stay at Smy Mykonos Suites and Villas, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing break in Mykonos.

We stayed at SMY Mykonos for a week in May 2023.
The hotel is in a great location, away from the busyness of the main town and offers great views of Elia beach and awesome sunsets. The only downside about the location was a nearby hotel hosted weddings on three of the seven nights with loud music playing until 1am that we could hear in our room each time. This is something to bear in mind if you’re visiting for some peace and quiet.
We stayed in one of the rooms with a hot tub on the balcony which was great for relaxing but unfortunately the temperature controls didn’t work. The staff knew this and told us to just turn it on/off to manage the temperature which often meant it was too hot or too cold to use properly. Additionally, our room was not cleaned every day - we would be fine with this if they told us upfront but some days our room just wasn’t cleaned.
The hotel restaurant was ok – there were limited vegetarian and vegan options so as a vegetarian and a vegan we tended to eat elsewhere for lunch and dinner. There was plenty of options at breakfast for vegetarians but the only vegan options were fruit and bread. One of the staff members started making jokes about how I “never eat anything” because I didn’t order any of the extra (non-vegan) breakfast options. They also brought us the meat and cheese plate every day despite us saying we don’t eat meat. We’re not offended by the sight of it but just think it’s wasteful to bring something people don’t eat. It’s probably good for meat eaters with plenty of options.
We recommend hiring a car – the hotel is quite secluded and it’s a 10 minute drive to the supermarket and 25 minutes to the main town so if you want to see the rest of the island or eat in other restaurants hiring a car if much cheaper and more reliable than getting taxis.
The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we had questions except when we lost something. We are certain it went missing from our room but got limited help by the staff and had to chase them multiple times for updates where they just suggested multiple ways in which we could have lost it – just not the level of service expected at a 5-star hotel.
TL;DR
- Great views, secluded and quiet (nearby weddings excepted)
- Restaurant is okay – limited options for vegetarians/vegans
- Room cleaning isn’t every day, seems random
- Staff are friendly
- Hire a car

Myself and my partner have just had a really dissapointing (and short lived) experience with this hotel.
We had paid for a duluxe suite with a pool, via BA holidays, as part of a flight and hotel package. When we arrived, we were extremely dissapointed to be shown to a very dated room towards the back of the hotel with no pool, no sea view and worst of all, it was probably the dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen (see photos).
I understand that admin/booking errors can happen, and I would have been able to move on from this if we'd been properly helped once the problem was discovered. However, along with the filthy room, the staff at the hotel were totally uninterested in helping us, and refused to do anything about things like the huge stain down the side of the headboard on the bed. Only when we phoned BA holidays, did they then decide they could offer a pool room from day 2 onwards, however we had no evidence it would be any more clean, and we had no evidence it would look anything like the photos on the SMY website, so we asked BA to move hotels, which they duly helped us with.
I am not sure what we would have done if we hadn't booked via a reputable travel agent, as the staff at the hotel didn't so much as offer us a glass of wine while they tried to sort it, and certainly weren't going to offer any compensation if we stayed in the filthy back room for night one and then moved. There was no manager present when I asked to speak to him/her, and they refused to get one. Only when we confirmed we were checking out, did they become a bit more interested in our situation, but by this point it was too late.
Other points to bear in mind with this property are that it is on Elia Beach, which is not in walking distance of anything, like shops or restuarants, so once you are there, you are stuck unless you hire a car or pay for taxis. The pool area and restuarant were roughly as described on the hotel's website.
The main positive is that they did give us a free lift for the short journey to our next hotel.
**Update** from the response provided, they haven't even read my review, so clearly aren't that fussed. I would be very wary of all the recent 5 Star reviews from people who have never contributed before on tripadvisor.
