The Zone is equipped with all the latest high-tech gear including computers and games consoles, plus there’s a disco, complete with microphones for impromptu sing-alongs. Teenagers will also be delighted to know The Zone has been declared ‘out of bounds’ for parents!
This attraction is ideal for letting young children get down to some serious physical fun in the fresh air and sunshine. It features a fantastic outdoor play centre which includes an impressive range of structures, including a pirate ship, tunnels and rope climbs.
It’s fun and food all the way for kids at the Wavehouse, where the attractions include a bowling alley and a chance to test your surfing skills on the Surf’s Up Wave Rider. There’s also an activity area called LEVELS which features obstacle courses, soft play areas and more than 50 arcade games.
When you’ve had your fill of fun, it’s time to have your fill of food at Wavehouse, the venue billed as ‘Dubai’s liveliest dining and entertainment hub’. An industrial-chic restaurant - which has a dedicated menu for kids - offers a range of tasty treats including burgers, pizzas, BBQ dishes, waffles, cakes and sundaes.
This is the place where children can really marvel at the wonders of the ocean in an incredible 11 million-litre aquarium, which is home to 65,000 creatures, including sharks and rays.
There’s also the opportunity for children to take a behind-the-scenes tour to see how the marine occupants are cared for, as well as an option to sail along a clear tunnel inside the aquarium on an inflatable ring, to observe the creatures at close range. A complimentary shark-feeding show is also a must-see event.
