Enhance your experience and save time at the airport by checking in on qatarairways.com or via the airline’s mobile app. Online check-in is available from 48 hours before your flight and up to 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. The 48 hours to 90-minutes window should include your connecting flights if you have any. If you are flying to/from the USA with Qatar Airways, then your online check-in is available from 24 hours prior to departure and up to 90 minutes before take-off.
To check in via the Qatar Airways website, please select the ‘Manage/Check in’ tab. To access your booking, you need the surname of the lead passenger and the airline check-in reference number, which you will find on your travel vouchers and ticket documents from Destination2. Once you click on ‘Retrieve booking’ you may be asked to update your contact details with the airline first before you can access and manage your booking, including online check-in. Please have the passport details ready of all passengers you are checking in and once you are in the booking, please follow the steps to complete the online check in. This will include completing Advance Passenger Information (API) for each traveller if this is required by the destination you are flying to. Also, during the online check in process, you can select your favourite seats*, update your travel preferences and download, print, or email your boarding passes. If you check in via the Qatar Airways app you can add your trip to enjoy exclusive features, including My Trips, digital boarding pass and personalised notifications.
Alternatively, you can check in at the airport. The Qatar Airways airport check-in desks close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. It is recommended that you arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to departure. If your journey starts with a flight, which is operated by another airline, it is recommended that you reconfirm the check-in requirements with the operating carrier. Passengers travelling on a group fare (9+ passengers on one booking) will need to check-in at the airport. If you have requested for a wheelchair, you will need to check-in at the airport.
