We absolutely love, love the Verandah Resort. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. Manager Tristan was super pleasant and accommodating when we were not satisfied with our restaurant of choice. He walked us to a different restaurant we had no reservations for and decorated the table nicely to make us happy. The food was great. It’s clean and we enjoyed having our own personal cottage. We felt very safe and overall had an amazing time celebrating our one year anniversary.

We recently had a day pass at Verandah Resort and Spa. While the property itself is absolutely stunning with beautiful views and well-maintained facilities, we found the staff to be less than welcoming. It felt as though friendliness was not a priority. The food was okay—not particularly memorable but not bad either. Overall, the location and setting are top-notch, but there's room for improvement in customer service.

We stayed at the Verandah Resort for our Honeymoon. We were there for a week and met some very nice people who were also staying at the resort. The resort was not busy and we were told it was running at only 20% capacity. The food was great, rooms were clean, and the one beach was nice.
That’s about where it ended. The service at this resort is seriously lacking - most employees were not friendly or helpful. There were very few smiles from employees and some even seemed to avoid helping guests. They were often checking their phones or just talking to each other while people waited.
We saw a maintenance team go around and clean up the grounds, which are absolutely beautiful. A lot of work has gone into making the Verandah look nice. However, everywhere you go, the same towels and cups are lying around all day. It was still a nice vacation but could’ve been better if the environment (staff) was happier.

Resort hotel with pools, beaches and a number of bars. Fantastic place to chill and relax. Only down side was the aircon in the Wicket pub was so high it was cold and the shower/bathroom needed a bit of an upgrade. Will come back.

My family and I had an incredible 5-day vacation at The Verandah, and it was an experience we’ll never forget! One of the highlights was definitely spending time at Lover's Beach. The beach offered the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We enjoyed lounging on comfortable beach chairs under shady umbrellas, while also having access to exciting water sports. Whether it was sailing lessons, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding, there was something for everyone.
A special shout-out to two amazing team members, Young and Deivon! They were not only super friendly and welcoming, but their enthusiasm made our time at the beach even more enjoyable. I had hoped to take a sailing lesson on my last day, but unfortunately, the lesson times didn’t align with my departure schedule. However, Young and Deivon went above and beyond by offering to take my sisters and me out on a private sailboat ride instead. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we had an unforgettable time on the water before leaving.
A big thank you to the wait staff at the café and the restaurants as well. Special thanks to Theodore, who truly made our dining experiences extra special. He was so kind, friendly, and always went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. He made an effort to chat with us and ensure we were comfortable. Theodore is an absolute gem and definitely deserves a raise! We hope he becomes a manager next time I go.
Overall, our stay at The Verandah was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, fun-filled getaway. I can’t wait to return next year!
