I had a fun vacation staying at this resort. The spa was amazing shout out to Kimberly! She is the best. Swedish massage and coconut wrap treatment were divine.
The staff was super friendly and nice. Miriam, Kimberly, and Vorlan were super attentive and accommodating. George taught us several new dances and kept the party live and entertaining. Resort activities were fun and engaging.
I would've given a five star but I wasn't a fan of the front desk staff. Check out process was not efficient. Given check out is noon and most folks want to eat before they leave the resort, the buffet lunch should start at noon at least for departures. Our airport pickup was scheduled at noon. The buffet opened late and by the time we were seated we only had 10 minutes gulped down our food. Very unpleasant experience.
Additionally, didn't give a five star because food quality and diversity of selection was inconsistent. Also, didn't like that a smoker checked in below us. We weren't able to fully enjoy our balcony. Smokers should be co-located together. This too was a very, very, very unpleasant experience. Almost dropped my review to three star.
But overall it was a really fun high vibe spot to vacation.

Nice boutique hotel tucked away very close to the airport. Our family with 2 teenagers very much enjoyed this relaxing calm all inclusive getaway. The rooms had comfortable beds, modern decor and a practical bathroom and balcony. Housekeeping was great and consistent. This resort has a lot of stairs and no elevators so you must be able to handle stairs as it is built into the side of a cliff. It is a good size, not too large to get around. We did not purchase diamond club as we did not feel that is necessary. We enjoyed the buffet, and a la carte restaurants. We had no trouble making any reservations. The food was great no issues finding many options. The beach is nice further down where there isn’t any rocks as 1 part of it is quite slippery with rocks but further down there is a beautiful sandy area. We enjoyed the beautiful tennis court and the large beach chess game. The pool temperatures were refreshing. We enjoyed the natural landscape setting on the beach. The service was great 😊 The buffet could use more fans or AC as it was warm depending on where you were seated. The coffee/ice cream shop was wonderful and we enjoyed several lattes there. We attended a few evening shows with steel drum bands and fashion and they were entertaining. The kids enjoyed using the gym facilities daily. We did an off site island excursion tour which we highly recommend as it gave us a great appreciation of the entire island that included seeing a nutmeg museum, chocolate factory, waterfalls, monkeys and a tasty lunch at Belmont estate. This is not a party resort but it has entertainment staff that you can choose to participate in activities however, if you enjoy peaceful calm beach and tranquil scenery this is a nice place. We had no issues with bugs. The early morning walking tour offered at the resort I would highly recommend. We loved Grenada and this resort as it was great for our family. We would recommend visiting it!

Royalton Grenada will test your patience/resolve to have a good vacation.
In my opinion the resort staff is burnt out. Probably from the lack of support from management. When we ask to speak with the Manager to help resolve our concerns, the manager refused to speak with us.
The Resort only stepped up, after I sent a msg to Expedia. On our 3rd day Royalton reached out. By this time we had spent more time at the Front Desk than anywhere else.
Also The Resort is App heavy, which would be helpful if the Apps actually worked.
The lack of initiative to solve our problems was so eye opening, going forward we will not choose to spend our money at any Marriott branded properties.
Edit: After 10 days at this resort my opinion hasn’t improved much. When you arrive to the wrong room and the resorts drops the ball with your anniversary dinner, My confidence in Royalton was lost, so I really couldn’t relax as much as I needed.

Beautiful volcanic island! Lots of lush vegetation and animals, birds....even fish right out front of our resort. Bring a mask and snorkel if you own them and water shoes! Some sea urchins were right on the shore.
Waves on the beach can be a bit intense some days but lovely to sit and listen to.
The Resort had a lot of stairs to navigate with no elevators in the buildings. The property is large, but we never felt crowded. You will easily get your steps in each day! View from our balcony was stunning!
The buffet was ok...varying themes each night. Lots of choices and even some local dishes. The specialty restaurants are really not worth it. For example, in the Italian restaurant the menu offered a Goat Cheese and Walnut Salad. Sounded delicious....but there were no walnuts and about a teaspoon of goat cheese. Basically a plate of shredded lettuce. Room service was excellent.
Most staff are very friendly, some are just indifferent.
Highly recommend Tom of Land and Sea Tours for your excursions. We met him on the beach and were somewhat hesitant, but he has lots of social media and Trip Advisor reviews. That trip was the highlight of our stay.

Review for Royalton Grenada
Royalton Grenada left little to the imagination – it was absolutely stunning! The resort exudes modern elegance, with breathtaking views and facilities that are truly top-tier. The customer service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience.
The only downside was the lack of authentic Caribbean food that truly showcased the unique flavors of Grenada. Adding more local dishes to the menu would elevate the experience even further.
That said, everything else was a perfect 10/10. From the accommodations to the hospitality, Royalton Grenada is a place I’d return to without hesitation!
