My wife and I celebrated a portion of our 20th anniversary week at the Calabash recently, and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer - and that we hadn't discovered the Calabash sooner! Everything was truly wonderful and magical. For starters, we benefited from incredibly warm and gracious service, which always felt genuine. The entire staff from top to bottom obviously cares deeply about their guests and the property. We were constantly greeted by name, and with a smile, from the moment we first arrived to the sad moment when we departed. We cannot wait to return again, as soon as possible! We also highly recommend some of the offered excursions, including the fabulous snorkeling/sailing trip with Savvy Sailing, whose folks took great care of us, and the awesome day-long island tour we did with Ryan Bartholomew, including a guided hike to beautiful waterfalls, delectable chocolate tasting, and exposure to the fascinating culture and history of Grenada.

Excellent experience from airport pickup to return. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and every request was met with an enthusiastic “yes!”. The food was amazing and well presented and the wine and drink menus had great variety. The ambiance was very serene leading to a very relaxing vacation for me and my wife. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Calabash to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Our room was lovely, and we were made to feel very welcome and special. The location is perfect, and we loved relaxing on the secluded beach. The staff was phenomenal and friendly, and the food was delicious! We hope to visit the Calabash again one day!!!

This was my first trip to Grenada and I was lucky enough to find myself booked into the Calabash. This exceeded all expectations, not least the amazing food at the 2 Restaurants. As with all Relais & Chateaux Hotels, the service was impeccable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back!!!

My family and I are currently staying at the Calabash in the most unusual and unexpected circumstances: Hurricane Beryl is on her way! I cannot commend highly enough the care that the hotel staff (too many to mention here by name) have taken of us in preparation for this storm. They moved us to a safer room on the bottom floor, have provided us with enough food to feed an army, and have been in constant communication with us. All I hope for now is that this beautiful hotel and its surroundings escape unscathed, and that everyone here at the Calabash, in Grenada, and on the other Windward Islands stay safe.
And now part 2! We are now home reflecting on a more eventful holiday than we had planned… and what a holiday it was. I can give the Calabash no greater compliment than to say that we’ll definitely be back. The hotel is beautiful down to every last detail, the facilities perfect, the food in the restaurants amazing. The staff deserve a special mention- we need to single out several for special praise but that is not to say that anyone we don’t name was anything less than just fabulous at their jobs. Abigail in the Rhodes Restaurant: if I could bottle and sell her joie de vivre, I’d be a rich woman. Desiann in the Beach Club and Michael in Rhodes: in charge and quietly and efficiently noticing and taking care of all our needs. George and Dennis at the bar: always having my husband’s favourite drink ready for him! The reception and office staff: so helpful when my case took 4 days to appear at the hotel. Thank you everyone!
