This resort wasn't my favorite for an all-inclusive experience. The beach is stunning, and our room was nice, but the food was just okay—not worth the price we paid. If you want to secure chairs by the beach, you need to get up really early. There’s about one umbrella for every two chairs, and I noticed some guests would grab multiple umbrellas for themselves, leaving others without shade. Additionally, you have to rent beach towels, and there’s a fee if you want to exchange them for clean ones each day. Ice cream also comes with an extra charge. Since we’re not heavy drinkers, I can’t comment on the quality of the drinks. It seems odd to include alcohol in the all-inclusive package but then charge for ice cream and towels—definitely not a sound business decision. They only provide two bottles of water at the bar unless you bring your whole family to claim more. Thankfully, we didn’t stay longer than a few days. Overall, the price you pay here doesn’t match the value you receive. There are plenty of restaurants nearby with a fun atmosphere. I’d recommend renting an apartment or choosing a hotel without the all-inclusive option. The beach is public, and you can enjoy it for much less money.

The worst all-inclusive hotel I've ever been to! We booked a full sea view room, payed extra for it and that is the main reason we chose to stay in this hotel. When we arrived they gave us a partial sea view room. It took us 3 days to get a full sea view room and a lot of trips to the reception and conversations with our travel agency. The hotel staff first claimed that the room has a full sea view (you can see for yourself in the 2 photos I have attached, one with the partial sea view and the other with a full sea view). After that they claimed that that is the room that my travel agency payed for. After 2 days of talking with the hotel staff and my agency they agreed to give us a better room. THEY GAVE US A ROOM EVEN FURTHER FROM THE SEA. That is when I went to the reception and started raising my voice so that all of the clients in the reception could hear about my problem. After that in half an hour they magically found a full sea view room. By the way, there was another group of people at the reception with the same problem. The entertainment is so bad that we preferred to either go out and pay for our drinks (we had all-inclusive at this hotel) or just stay in the balcony and enjoy the view we had to fight for. The food is really good, a lot of variety. The location is great, right near the beach. So my advice is that if you do not want a sea view room this is a good place to come. If you do want a sea view room definitely not as they claim that any room that has a glimpse at the sea is a full sea view room jut to take more money. Almost forgot, they ask you for money to change your beach towels at this all inclusive. Also there are very few sunbeds so if you want to get a decent spot you must go and place your towels before 7am.

4 stars for a 4 star hotel - seems pretty fair. Things that I really loved: Food - I was half board and the breakfast and evening meals are easily the best in terms of quality and consistency I’ve had at an all inclusive style buffet beating the 5* places I have stayed at The views - the hotel over looks Cala Ferrera and it is just lovely looking out at the crystal clear waters at breakfast and after dinner in the evening The animation team - were great and quickly identified people that wanted to be left alone. They were also friendly and kept the place upbeat. They had an aqua bikes spin class which is not something I’ve seen before and is a great idea. The feel/vibe - I don’t know how to adequately describe it but it’s just “nice” Fixed problems - had an issue with the hot water in the room and it was fixed while we were by the pool The things I didn’t love: Towels - requiring money for towel for the pool in alien to me, and I didn’t like it even though it’s refundable. Use a card system like everyone else! Signage - it’s a two building hotel but this isn’t really clear on arrival and navigating around is difficult unless you take a tour and get yourself orientated Tired - this hotel is obviously older and while it’s nicely presented it’s definitely in need of a little TLC now Gym - it wasn’t advertised as having a gym but it does, but I can see why they wouldn’t shout about it, 1 bike, 1 treadmill, 1 cross trainer and some lying down bikes and some free weights and a couple of other bits isn’t really gym enough for the number of people at the hotel. The best bit: Room 314 in the second building doesn’t just have a balcony, it has a private roof terrace, what an absolute result somewhere that you can lounge and get away from what is a very busy little hotel. General context bits. Went in last 2 weeks of July so school holidays, there is a family pool and another pool overlooking the sea and beach, the beach is accessible directly from the hotel but the loungers down there don’t belong to the hotel so are paid for by the day. TLDR; nice for the price, but busy and tired, if given the choice would only come back out of season for a bargain.

First off the pictures on the website are at least 20 years old. Here is a recap of my experience at Barcelo: We booked a 3-night stay at Barceló, but we left after the first night due to how terrible it was. Firstly, the noise was unbearable. Loud kids were running through the hallways all night, making it impossible to get any sleep. The lobby had a constant unpleasant smell, which was far from welcoming. We specifically paid for a sea view balcony room, but our view was a major disappointment. We could barely see the ocean, and to make matters worse, there was a bright light on our balcony that stayed on all night and couldn’t be turned off. This completely ruined the experience of having a balcony. Parking was another nightmare. Despite the hotel's promises, there was no parking available. We were forced to park five blocks away on the street, which was highly inconvenient and frustrating. The elevators were incredibly slow. We had to wait at least 10 minutes every time we wanted to use them, which added to our frustration. But the worst part was the dirtiness and noise. The entire place was filthy, and the constant noise from kids made it feel more like a chaotic playground than a hotel. We couldn’t bear to stay longer and decided to leave after just one night.

Stayed for 4 nights in July. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly , very welcoming. Hotel on the beach with loads of space with paddle boards and pedalos for hire. If you felt like it, you don't need to go anywhere or walk anywhere for your stay. Amazing. Guests are also well behaved :)
