Our stay at Canareef was absolutely wonderful. We spent a week there, and every part of the experience was memorable. The rooms were spacious, the staff was kind, and the food was great. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing vacation with plenty of activities to enjoy. They offer scuba diving, snorkeling, and a dolphin cruise — and we were lucky enough to witness a beautiful, mesmerizing view of the dolphins. They also arranged a visit to the local Addu Island, which added to the overall experience. While the WhatsApp coordination took a little time, the team ensured everything was eventually arranged smoothly. A special mention to Shafiq, who was incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile. He went out of his way to make our stay exceptional, and I’ll always remember the briefing session he gave us- full if energy😀 Another big thanks to Muni, who ensured we received bicycles on priority — his support made getting around the island so convenient. And appreciation to Jael for her exceptional service at the Dhoni Bar; her hospitality truly stood out. We also received our Equator Crossing Certificate, which made the trip even more special. I would definitely recommend exploring Canareef Beach Resort, Maldives — it’s an experience worth having.

This is the place to be if you are an active person and looking for a full-service vacation. The villa's and food are great, the views are beautiful. You can get your own mountainbike to explore the resort, it is 5 km long, so enough to discover. I can also recommend to cycle to the northern part and experience the daily life of local Maldivians. The snorkeling in the south is amazing, with beautiful fishes and turtles. There is a gym, a 50m swimming pool, a beachvolley court where I had a lot of fun. If you want to make a difference, go help with beach clean up. Since it is an eco-resort, the environment is respected in all the resort's decisions. But this does not impact the level of comfort in any way. And last but not least: the staff is super friendly and helpful. I can really recommend this place! It is worth the long trip from Europe!

Absolutely loved Canareef resort. Beautiful island, you can easily find a quiet spot if you want. The staff are always smiling and greet you. Not just the front of house staff but the maintenance staff too. We had a massage at the spa which was top notch. Snorkeling off the beach is amazing and easy to do. We also did a snorkeling boat trip in much deeper water. Here we saw towering corals but I think we saw more fish in shallow. We were lucky enough to spot a Hawksbill turtle though which made it fantastic. I would definitely come back to Canareef Resort.

We spent two wonderful weeks there. The cottages are very spacious and beautiful, especially the outdoor shower, which has beautiful views of the palm trees. I recommend the Sunset Villa rooms. They offer sunset views and beach access. The food is very good. There's plenty of it, and above all, beautiful views. The resort is quite large, almost 5km long, and there are plenty of attractions. We spent our evenings at the bar, where the Beyond Rhythm Band entertained us almost every day. Three wonderful people: Jay, Marie, and Chris. 😁 Thank you for the beautiful music. And most importantly, the weather was very good, even though it was supposed to be rainy.

We were instructed to reach Gan Jetty at 1:40 PM, and we arrived even earlier at 1:30 PM. However, we had to wait until 2:25 PM to board the boat because they were waiting for other foreign guests who arrived very late.We reached the resort around 3 PM.After reaching the resort, things were fine at first. They mentioned that bicycles were complimentary, but when we asked, they said they didn’t have enough due to the high number of guests. We went to the reception again, and only then they agreed to send bicycles to our room. Later, during the Dhoni Bar snack time, we waited a long time for snacks and beverages. We had to ask again before we received anything. When we requested more food—since the delay made us really hungry and the food court was already closed. We arrived late in the afternoon, so we didn’t receive the afternoon meal. They told us that they would provide it the next day instead.Regardless of the number of guests, everyone should be treated equally. When we asked again for more snacks, they said the time was already over, even though we spent most of the time waiting for food. The food and mocktails was not tasty, and the customer service was very poor. They did not clearly explain what was included, and it felt like they were trying to avoid giving the proper food and access that we were supposed to receive. Let’s wait and see what is included at night.
