First class. Staff were a credit to the hotel. One of the few hotels where the Buffett, is still a dining experience. The bar staff in the swim up pool and evening bar by the restaurant and pool were out of this world. I am type 1 Diabetic and never before have I had staff tuned into this. Unlike the Caribbean. The staff were good because the wanted to be and not driven by tips. Not forgetting the Buffett staff. Always smiled and acknowledged. Never let our glasses empty. No waiting to catch an eye. Like other hotels. The whole experience we will never forget and especially as it was our 25th wedding anniversary. Thank you team RIU.

We stayed at Atoll for two occasions, my wife birthday and our 15th year anniversary. Hotel Atoll exceeded every expectation. Nestled on a pristine island surrounded by turquoise waters and powdery white sand, this resort is the epitome of tropical luxury. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Exceptional service! Accommodation: We stayed in an overwater villa, and it was pure magic. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and stepping straight into the ocean from our deck was unforgettable. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and modern touches with a private drink bar. Exceptional Service in Atoll: From the moment we arrived, the staff at Atoll made us feel like royalty. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Whether it was the welcome drink, the personalized room setup, or the attentive housekeeping, every detail was thoughtfully handled. Every staff member seemed truly invested in making our stay unforgettable. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of luxury and heartfelt service. We left feeling pampered, relaxed, and incredibly grateful. Restaurants: The food was phenomenal. From fresh fish to international cuisine, every meal was a delight. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, the steak house and Italian restaurant offered great meals. The restaurants staff were the most friendly and helpful people. We felt truly cared for and appreciated their genuine hospitality. Entertainments: If you're looking for a hotel that knows how to throw a party, Atoll is it! The nightly entertainment was phenomenal—live bands, White Night and Flower Night. The energy was contagious, and the staff made sure everyone was having a blast. Our special thanks: Special thanks to Mohammad and Latheef for keeping our room pristine and adding personal touches that made our stay unforgettable. They went above and beyond fresh towels, beautifully arranged beds, and even thoughtful towel art that made us smile everyday, especially on my wife birthday and our 15 year anniversary. Mohammad and Latheef are the heart of hospitality! Our special thanks to Phillipe the manager of restaurants at Riu Atoll. He arranged a dinner at the Steak House for our anniversary. He suprised us with cake and decorated our table with flowers. It was a truly magical evening for us, and we felt truly special. Our thanks to Andy and the lady from Cameroon in the main restaurant. They were absolute gem. They greeted us with warm smile and always helpful. A big thank for the gentleman with the bear at the reception. He was so nice and helpful. We had a slow WiFi for the first few days, so we couldn't check our security cameras at home. So he let us to use his WiFi to check the cameras. A big thank to Rangina for helping us with a late checkout. A big thank to Aminda from the beach bar, Chandana from the main bar. They are true artist behind the bar. A big thank to Fiz from the main bar and Marchee from the sport bar for taking care of us. A perfect blend of comfort and luxury - I would highly recomment Riu Atoll. Best, Pirouz Samipour

This is the fourth consecutive year we have been and every year it keeps getting better. The bar staff are excellent especially Singhe who went out of his way to to get to know us and always said hello. The restaurant is great with plenty of variety and very helpful chefs who would help out whenever they could. The staff in all the restaurants were exceptional we travelled with my parents and my dad is 91 and they supplied him with a wheelchair for the whole holiday and the staff were all helpful with him , making sure we had a table with easy access and helping him with his plates if he needed it. A special thanks to Firaz who we have meet there for several years and his service was exceptional.

We spent a truly magical holiday at Riu Atoll in the Maldives in June, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! The entire resort is absolutely stunning. Spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and the crystal-clear ocean just steps away from our room was pure paradise. We stayed in a Beach Room with direct access to the beach, which was a dream come true. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding, warm, welcoming, and always helpful. A special moment for us as parents: we forgot the measuring scoop for our baby’s formula, and the lovely team at the patisserie kindly helped us portion the formula, such a thoughtful and compassionate gesture! The resort is also incredibly family-friendly. Our 11-month-old daughter had a fantastic time at the Mini Club, and the animation staff was caring and attentive. Meanwhile, we enjoyed snorkeling in the vibrant underwater world, we spotted so many beautiful marine creatures, it felt like swimming in an aquarium! The weather was absolutely perfect every single day; sunshine, turquoise waters, and swaying palm trees made it feel like a true tropical escape. There’s also a small shop on-site for souvenirs and essentials, though for more shopping options we recommend checking the airport in Malé before your flight home. As for the food, there is room for improvement, although the buffet offered variety and we were always satisfied after each meal, the flavor could be enhanced. The snack bar between main meals could also be improved. However, these are just minor points in what was overall an exceptional experience. In summary: we would return in a heartbeat! Riu Atoll offers everything a family could wish for: relaxation, adventure, kindness, and beauty. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

I stayed here a couple of years ago with my husband for 7 nights in a junior overwater bungalow. The views are phenomenal as expected in the Maldives and the room was always kept super clean thanks to the attentive cleaning staff. The bungalows aren't super private but not bad enough to the point it was an issue. Just be mindful you may be able to hear people next door talking on their patio or they may hear you. Some of the bar staff were quite rude I found and I remember one guy who was especially harsh to myself and other guests but I don't recall his name. The drinks also tasted watered down and they only came in a plastic cup, even if it was wine or a cocktail which didn't feel very luxurious for the price we paid. The food was hit or miss, we are not picky at all but found to food to be fairly bland. The actual restaurants were not good at all, so we stuck to the buffet as we found the food to be better. The wifi was okay but not exceptional by any means so may not be the best resort if you plan to work at all. The resort itself was nice and the beach bar that is set up in the evening with a dj was fun to attend. Overall I would rate this hotel a 3/5 experience given the food wasn't great at all, some (not all) of the bar staff seemed unhappy, drinks were underwhelming and served in plastic cups, and service was spotty. The cleaning staff were exceptional though and the water was very beautiful.
