The Meeru Resort is an absolutely magical destination. Words can't fully capture the beauty of this incredible place and the warmth of the amazing people who work here. Every member of the team ensures your stay is unforgettable. It’s the experience that you will remember forever. Everyone is amazing and we have to mantion our restaurant host Ryan he was amazing. Thank you to the entire Meeru Maldives Resort team!

An excellent resort with 5 star service and spectacular beaches, restaurants and bars. The staff are superb - polite, kind and very attentive. I thoroughly recommend this resort. It was our first visit to the Maldives, but won't be our last for sure.

Our 2nd visit and whilst many good things remained not all has stayed as good as our first. Good -Staff in the main are a credit to the resort; the chefs and waiting staff are super friendly and make meal times great fun -Food; the buffets are varied and the new dine around option on the all inclusive means you can try different restaurants every day (there are 4 a la carte restaurants in addition to the buffets). We made the most of this and particularly enjoyed A-Mare -Lots to do, doesn't suffer like the smaller islands where you can feel a little claustrophobic - even a daily walk around the island is 2 miles -Location - its the Maldives....beautiful! Not so Good -Resort is looking tired; bedrooms in particular. Our air conditioning unit had to be serviced 3 times whilst there. Wallpaper was peeling in several places. Handles on the door are rusting. Woodwork is worn. -Paths around the island: used to be able to walk everywhere in barefoot now footwear is required -Cleaning of the room was half hearted at best (although that may have been our particular room boy, as others did not seem to suffer this). Bedding was only changed a couple of times during our long stay. -The equipment available is old and not cared for, for example pool tables are not level, the tips on the pool and snooker cues non existent, the darts are old -It seems not enough staff are available at the buffet restaurants (we ate in the North adults only option) and frequently did not have our tables cleared between courses, had to seek out waiters to take drinks orders, and find help to set tables on our arrival etc (this wasn't our nominated waiter I stress to add, as I saw this across many tables) -The price of the all-inclusive package is not offering value, has increased since our last visit and I believe has subsequently increased again. Coctails & wine available have remained the same quality despite the increase, although must be said with the dine around offer the food options are enhanced. It is definitely worth calculating if all inclusive is worth it versus the half board. -Building work: there is some happening in the middle of the island and the south of the island. Not particularly troublesome but worth noting. In all we did enjoy our stay, it's still a beautiful island with plenty of positives but there are several (easy!) improvements Meeru can make to improve the overall experience. We did offer this feedback privately and directly to the management when we returned home but have been somewhat surprised to have received no acknowledgment of this. I think this is systematic of the way Meeru is being managed. Great staff, but management must do better.

Rooms are great, service needs to improve a lot as the guests only have keep chasing the resort reception for all the updates be it room change or anything else wat so ever. There is no manager who you can contact and have a word with to discuss the problems you face. It was very hard to get in touch with the manager after various tries which is annoying with no possible outcome. Overall the food the stay is all amazing.
