The Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon standard all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast (7.30am to 9.30am)
  • Lunch (12.30pm to 2.30pm)
  • Dinner (7.30pm to 9.30pm)
  • Snacks three times daily in (morning – 10.30 to 11.30, evening - 4pm to 5pm and night - 10.30pm to 11.30pm)
  • Selection of alcoholic beverages including cocktails, draught beers, house brand alcohol and house poured wines (9am to 12midnight)
  • Selection of non-alcoholic beverages including soft drinks, canned fruit juices, tea, coffee and bottled water. (available 9am to 12midnight)

Not the typical Maldives resort. The service is only so-so. The beaches are almost non-existent. Our beach villa was fine, but too close to the pool and often noisy. No outdoor shower, although I see they left a drain for one. Food is good, very good variety and of decent quality for the price. The restaurant could be overcrowded at times. Their reef is great and is the only reason to come back to this place. Some wildlife on the resort as lizards, flying foxes, different birds. In general we enjoyed it but there's a lot of room for improvement.

Fellow holiday makers, this is an absolutely awful place with most disgusting behaviour from staff. I saw them verbally abusing a customer for a mistake the staff made (in front of other customers). Perhaps they were afraid of getting in trouble so they tried to pass the buck. Also this place takes in hoards of non resident customers for day trips which makes the island very busy. They were in spread out in front of peoples beach huts - the island holiday makers were visibly dismayed by this. Food is mediocre. The worst being what appeared like microwave chicken nuggets for afternoon tea- I kid you not. It is not a particularly attractive island either. Do better with your money, friends. I deeply regret coming here. The staff should be ashamed of themselves but from reviews I have read on other sites this is common behaviour. The people who review this place favourably must be easily impressed with mediocre and favour microwave food. Coming to the Maldives is a lengthy journey and a costly one, don’t shortchange yourself for a place like this. There are far superior places you can spend the same at.

An Unforgettable Couples’ Getaway – Thank You Ellaidhoo Team! My partner and I had the most incredible experience at Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and care—it truly felt like a home away from home in paradise. The island is absolutely stunning, with clear turquoise waters, a vibrant house reef, and the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The atmosphere was peaceful and romantic, making it ideal for a couples’ retreat. We especially loved the snorkelling, sunset views, and quiet moments spent by the beach. But what made our stay truly unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality. We want to extend our deepest thanks to Nazeer, Susil, Singh, and Neranjen—your thoughtfulness and genuine kindness made our trip incredibly special. Whether it was a personalised touch at dinner or simply checking in on how our day was going, you truly went above and beyond. We’d also love to give a huge shoutout to the amazing bar team: Asela, Jesica, Saddam, Naïf, and Osanda. You all brought so much joy and positive energy every evening. And the excellent team at the dinning hall too, Sae and Ahmed! From remembering our drinks to sharing stories and making us laugh, your warmth and attentiveness made every moment memorable. Just 1 bad point, the dudes at the front desk look like they hate their jobs. Although the ladies are wonderful, Joie and another lady that I didn’t get her name. They are very nice and will endeavour to make your stay brilliant. Ellaidhoo isn’t just beautiful—it’s the people who make it magic. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so extraordinary. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

The hotel’s location and setting are incredible, the massive house-reef for snorkelling was superb. The rooms were lovely, and the rest was adequate. Our biggest issue was with the disorganisation - we had emailed several times before arriving to make sure we would be able to go on excursion to see whale sharks, this was a big part of our trip, over email they were very positive and assured us trips would regularly occur. Once we arrived we were told they only occasionally do these trips, and it would be unlikely to happen. No explanation to this. When we then booked other excursions they were cancelled repeatedly due to “the boat needing to be used for sea plane transfers”. Whilst this in no way ruined our holiday, it was a big disappointment.

Great hotel on the paradise. Stuff super excellent for skills and courtesy. We got the all included and beyond breakfast, lunch and dinner also unlimited open bar was available. The variety and the good level of food was very appreciated in both the restaurants as well the snacks at bar. Rooms large and very clean. Perfect for sweet vacation.
