The service at this hotel was above and beyond. Upon the sea plane landing I was greeted by a group of staff that were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They graciously upgraded my room from a beach front villa to an overwater villa and the service for the stay was impeccable. The villa was also very spacious and gorgeous.
The only downside was there were only a couple of food options and they’re were somewhat underwhelming. Definitely didn’t go for the food, though. And it was reasonably priced, especially compared to another hotel I’ve stayed at in the Maldives.
I definitely recommend the Westin as a great place to stay!

high season에 6박을 묵었고, budget traveller이기 때문에 비치 빌라를 예약했습니다. titanium이지만 over water villa를 제공받을 수 없을 수도 있다고 생각했지만 Simad가 저를 도와줬습니다. 오버워터 빌라가 기껏해야 30개 정도나 될까 하는데도 불구하고 가능한 최선을 다해 도와주려고 했고 원하는 방으로 2번의 이사를 통해 이동하게 되었습니다. 단순히 방을 업그레이드 받아서 고마운 것이 아니라 체크인 당시 제가 남겼던 저의 request를 잊지 않고 매일 저녁 제 투숙이 만족스러운지 체크 하는 전화를 걸어주었으며 제가 언급한 모든 사항에 대해 피드백을 해주어서 더 고마웠습니다. Simad는 저의 몰디브 여행을 최고로 만들어주었고 Westin Maldives는 Marriot Bonvoy Elite Member를 존중해주는 호텔입니다. 매우 추천하며 저 또한 당연히 다시 방문할 예정입니다.
I am a very straightforward person and only write reviews when there is something truly worth mentioning. This review is written voluntarily because I was deeply impressed by Simad's service. It was an extraordinary customer experience.
I stayed for 6 nights during a very high season (Asian Thanksgiving Day), and being a budget traveler, I booked the room at the best possible rate. Although I am a Titanium member with Marriott Bonvoy, I thought I might not be able to receive an over-water villa upgrade, but Simad went above and beyond to assist me. Every evening, he gave me a phone call presenting the best available options, and I ended up moving to my desired room twice. (I think this resort only has 30 units or slightly more of over-water villa. Not many)
It wasn't just about receiving an upgraded room; Simad never forgot the requests I mentioned during check-in, called every evening to check if I was satisfied with my stay, and provided feedback on every detail I mentioned. This made for a truly touching experience.
Simad made my Maldives trip exceptional, and the Westin Maldives is a hotel that respects Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members.
I highly recommend it, and I will certainly visit again.

In addition, I went to see the doctor twice because my bf has back pain and eye sight problems. She was so nice and welcoming. I know it is not good to see her again, but when i came back there another issue. She also did a great treatment.
Everyone, no worries when you have some medical issues. There is a good doctor here in Westin.
Also, Laurent and Rohit. You two always stayed near us try to find if we need something. You guys suddenly come to help us whenever we were in the trouble.
And chef Min, your homemade Kimchi and Shin Ramyun made me not to miss my country. That is absolutely true!
Finally, I really wished to remember his name, but the gentle Maldivian guy in the restaurant. It is impossible to pick each one because everybody here is really helpful.
I am so sure I will be here again! I have already given some recommendations to all of my friends!

My husband & I have been picked up in Male Airport & after a short flight we arrived in Westin with a very warm welcome. The first & the most important thing, if you arrive and something doesn’t fulfill your expectations, don’t talk with the front desk, go to the island kitchen area which you can find the management team and speak it out. They listen very carefully & will make it happen. What you should know about this resort: EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! There is a team of professionals which their job is finding out your wishes and making them true! We booked a beach villa for 4 nights & a water villa for 3 nights. The beach villa with the palm trees, the birds & the colorful lizards around was wonderful for photography and I recommend it to the family with children. For us it was a bit loud with the playing children from neighboring villas. In the beach villas you have the absolute privacy, outstanding ocean view and the fastest access for snorkeling 🤿 If you are into fine dinning, go for à la carte and don’t do the buffet. The menus of the Hawker & island kitchen restaurants are just outstanding, the chef even makes your own menu. In general the resort is extremely clean. You can see the staff cleaning non stop. If you are picky about the cleanliness just talk to the housekeeping Management about your concerns and wishes. After talking to Athar, I’ve got the sparkling clean level which I thank him a lot and specially the outstanding service of our housekeeping staff Yasin.
If you are into water sport, go immediately after your arrival to the dive center and check the activities. We’ve had diving, private turtle snorkeling and few fishing trips which they were the absolute highlight of our trip. The water sport/ fishing team are just excellent in their job. Big thanks to Amir, Yasin, Isse, Imlaah, Captain Firag, Briana & Sasa for the great job. They are excellent in their profession & also all have great personalities.
Don’t forget to go to the spa, the girls are doing a fantastic job! Go for wine tasting & and the cocktail in the sunset terrace.
Again big thanks to the whole Westin team for making our trip more memorable and special! My congratulations to Laurent, resort manager for building up this great team with the best attitude in a wonderful & nice atmosphere. We highly recommend Westin & will definitely come back again!

We had our belated honeymoon at The Westin Maldives from 11-15 Nov. it was the most wonderful experience ever. As soon as our sea plane landed, we were warmly greeted by The Westin hospitality. The over water villa is huge, packed with everything we needed, the view of the Indian Ocean is just so amazing. All rooms come with an orange juice press and daily fresh refill of oranges as part of Westin live well, eat well motto. The service we experienced was immaculate. We enjoyed interacting with all their staff, learning a lot about day to day life and experiences of the locals as well as their international team. Special appreciation to Hotel manager Laurent Sung DJI Reynieix and Sous Chef Min Parajuli and their wonderful team. Laurent took the effort to chat with us daily or every time we meet at different parts of the property. Chef Min will always visit us at our table daily to ask for feedback about the food and drinks. When I couldn’t get used to the Diwali dinner, Chef Min specially prepared some dishes to ensure that I don’t go hungry. The team did everything they can to ensure that we truly enjoyed ourselves, were well fed and taken care of. The staff at the dive centre was amazing as well and they took very good care of our well being and safety. Special shout out to Ismail who brought us out to snorkel to see the sea turtles and jet ski tour. He always has our back and will keep a lookout for us throughout the whole trip. We are really blessed to have experienced the Westin Maldives hospitality. The people, the team makes a great difference to the excellence service experience and the team did a fantastic job! Maldives will always have a special place in my heart.

- 2 course lunch at Island Kitchen or Hawker, with a choice of one soup, starter or dessert and one main course. Includes house water (still and sparkling)
- 3 course dinner at Island Kitchen [ when buffet service is not on ]. Hawker, with a choice of one soup or starter, one main course and one dessert. Includes house water (still and sparkling). Guests on All-Inclusive are entitled to one dinner at The Pearl every 3 days. For additional visit/s, a meal credit of USD 70 per adult and USD 35 per child will be given.
- BBQ Theme Nights at Hawker Restaurant are not included and an additional supplement will be applicable
