An absolutely amazing stay at Kandima Hotel Maldives! Everything was just perfect from start to finish. The food was outstanding – a huge variety and top quality. The beach is breathtaking, and the service is exceptional.
A special highlight was the Kids Club – a huge thank you to Gigi and her team! You are truly amazing and made our kids’ stay unforgettable.
But the heart and soul of the resort is definitely Manager Lucie. She is simply the best! Not only is she warm and welcoming, but she also made sure that every problem was solved quickly and efficiently. Her dedication, kindness, and attention to detail truly make a difference. Lucie, you are amazing!
We will definitely be back – highly recommended!

We booked Aqua villa, our room was so close to beach. We requested to change then they gave us room where TV doesn't have any smart function or doesn't connect with phone. When I called Guest service desk I got the answer, "sorry ma'am that's all we have" Save your money book a hotel with better services where staff is willing to help the Guests.
I'm editing this review because they were able to accommodate for our room's TV. Manger personally got involved and took care of everything. Kandima you got our heart...

Our experience at Kandima Hotel (Feb 23 – Mar 2) was terrible. We were a group of 14 adults and 12 kids (ages 5–12), and from the moment we arrived, the issues began. Our room had ants covering the bathroom, and the towels were clearly overused.
Kandima claims to be a kid-friendly resort, but aside from go-karting, there’s nothing for older kids. The kids’ club is meant for babies and isn’t even open daily. The food was equally disappointing—both the buffet (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and room service were nearly inedible. Sea Dragon was mediocre at best, while Azure was the only somewhat decent option. Service across the resort was painfully slow.
Despite the island being massive (2.3 km), transportation options were poor. Buses were supposed to come every 15–20 minutes but often took 40–50 minutes, making walking the better choice. Bikes were available for rent at $6/day, but ours were stolen multiple times.
Booking restaurants was another nightmare. Reception repeatedly told us they were fully booked, yet when we showed up, they were nearly empty—just us and maybe two other tables.
The only redeeming part of our stay was the massages—they were surreal.
Overall, this resort was a complete letdown, especially for families. The poor service, bad food, and lack of kid-friendly activities make it far from the “ultimate family destination” it claims to be.

Kandima Maldives is pure paradise!
From the scenic seaplane arrival to our beautiful beachfront studio, everything was just perfect. The food was next level — especially the steaks! Special thanks to Chef Fika from Smoked Restaurant.
The activities were unforgettable: snorkeling, kayaking, karting — all so well-organized and fun. And the spa? Truly incredible. The massage, body wrap, and facial left me feeling completely renewed. Special thanks to massage specialist Indra (sorry if I spelled her name wrong)
It was my first time in the Maldives, and I absolutely loved every moment. I’m 100% bringing my family next time. Highly recommend Kandima for anyone looking for a mix of luxury, adventure, and relaxation!

Our stay at Kandima Maldives was absolutely magical! From the exceptional service and warm morning greetings to the baby-friendly amenities and world-class hospitality, every moment was unforgettable.
Traveling with our 1-year-old baby was a breeze, thanks to the chefs at "Zest" and "Flavours", who thoughtfully prepared fresh, flavorful, and baby-friendly meals, making dining effortless. The Kandiland play area was a perfect haven for our little one – safe, fun, and perfectly designed for toddlers.
We also indulged in a blissful spa experience at ESKAPE Spa, where the soothing massages and serene ambiance left us completely refreshed.
The cuisine was simply divine, with every dish bursting with rich flavors. A special thanks to Head Chef Noor and the Sri Lankan Head Chef for their culinary brilliance and personalized service.
A big shoutout to the sea plane and speed boat pilots for a smooth and scenic journey, making the adventure just as memorable as the destination. Kandima Maldives offers the perfect blend of relaxation, family fun, and luxury – a must-visit for families and couples alike! 🌴👶📸🍽️✈️⛵💆♀️🥂
