A paradise. My wife and I had a perfect vacation. The photos on social media are absolutely accurate. We stayed in a sunset-view bungalow with a private jacuzzi and direct access to the coral reef. The sandy beach has crystal-clear water, just like a pool. Beneath the surface, an aquarium of incredible fish unfolds.
I recommend the all-inclusive package, which includes main meals and an open bar from 9 AM to midnight. The food is of good quality, with delightful pastries. Perhaps the only downside was a bit too much garlic (I don’t like it).
The staff is kind, helpful, but never intrusive. The excursions to see sharks and dolphins are highly recommended. The spa is also an experience worth having.

Where to start?
This place was spectacular. As soon as we got to reception after our speedboat to Cinnamon Velifushi, we were greeted warmly, gifted drinks. We were also upgraded to a water villa. This made a great trip even greater. Views were amazing, every day was something new. The staff here were attentive, kind and so very helpful. Nothing but praise for all of them that keep this place running. The food was spectacular, every day was a different experience, probably left after 5 days 5kg heavier. Breakfasts were amazing, so much variety. But the dinners, although buffets were beyond amazing. Every night a different theme of food, one night a barbecue, one night shawarma, one night Mongolian and it was all lovely and beautifully presented.
Also as it was a trip for my birthday I was serenaded by the staff at dinner which was also a great surprise with some cake and various renditions of happy birthday.
If God allows me to visit Maldives again, Cinnamon Velifushi will definitely be on my list again. The best holiday I could have ever asked for.

My stay at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The resort itself is a paradise on earth, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery.
One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding service provided by the staff. In particular, Hameesh was exceptionally kind and attentive. He went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was comfortable and enjoyable. His friendly attitude and willingness to help with anything truly made a difference in my stay.
The food at the resort was another aspect that exceeded my expectations. Every meal was carefully prepared with fresh ingredients, offering a delightful mix of local and international flavors. From breakfast to dinner, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The variety of seafood, tropical fruits, and exquisite desserts made dining at the resort a memorable experience.
Aside from the excellent service and food, the overall atmosphere of the resort was pure relaxation. Whether it was lounging by the pristine beach, snorkeling in the turquoise waters, or simply enjoying the stunning sunset views, every moment felt like a dream. The luxurious accommodations were well-maintained, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views of the ocean.
I can confidently say that Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. The combination of outstanding service, delicious food, and an idyllic tropical setting makes it a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation.

Absolute heaven on earth.
The island is a private beautiful island and you can walk the perimeter in about ten minutes.
A must for honeymooners I’d say.
Personally as a 57 year old married woman I missed being able to chat to people. They were obviously occupied!!!
The food, our over water villa and the staff especially Malithi on the bar were fabulous.

We spent six nights at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives—three nights in a Beach Villa and three in a Water Bungalow with a Jacuzzi—and overall, it was a fantastic experience!
Accommodation & Services
Both the Beach Villa and Water Bungalow were top-notch, offering luxurious comfort and breathtaking views. The in-room service was excellent, and the mini-fridge was restocked daily as part of our Premium All-Inclusive package, with no extra charges.
Food & Dining
The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were amazing, with plenty of variety. However, we did notice that some items were repeated over the days. A special mention goes to the New Year's Eve dinner, which was a humongous spread—so much so that we couldn’t even try everything! The NYE party was enjoyable for us, though younger guests (Gen Z) might find it a little on the mellow side.
Family-Friendly Amenities
We traveled with our three-year-old daughter, and she had a wonderful time. The shallow water beaches were perfect for her, and she also loved the swimming pool near the bar and our private Jacuzzi. The resort’s kids’ playroom was an added bonus, giving her a fun space to enjoy.
Excursions
We took part in two excursions:
Dolphin Cruise: We were hoping for a better yacht experience, but the ride was on an old wooden boat, which was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see any dolphins, which was unlucky.
Sandbank Excursion: This was an amazing experience! The guide took swimmers out snorkeling, and we enjoyed cold drinks on the sandbank along with picnic parcels on the way back. However, the boat was once again an old one, which could have been improved.
Overall Verdict
Despite the minor issues with the excursions, we absolutely loved our stay. The accommodation, dining, and in-room services were excellent, making it a memorable vacation. If you’re looking for a relaxing and family-friendly Maldives experience, Cinnamon Velifushi is definitely a great choice!
