We stayed at this incredible hotel for a second time in February 2025 and our experience was even better than our first visit (if that was possible). Our exceptional service started at reception where Emma and Dewa took care of checking us in and also meeting all of our requests. These ladies always had smiles on their faces despite working in a quite hot makeshift reception area while renovations are taking place. Our room was spacious and impeccably maintained daily by the cleaning staff along with constant enquiries if everything was ok and if there was anything extra we required. The meals in the recently renovated 'Seminyak Kitchen' were 5 star. Breakfast started with greetings from Ayu or Indah and once seated our amazing experience began with special attention from all the staff. Having said that we would like to thank Ayu, Arya, Puspa, Teja, Dhika, Wika and Linda at breakfast and Pebri at dinner for going above and beyond to make our meals enjoyable and memorable. The range of food available at breakfast is unbelievable and if there's something you desire but isn't in the buffet then the chefs are more than happy to prepare whatever you want. The pool area is so well laid out with cold face cloths and watermelon icy poles offered everyday as a welcoming extra. A big thank you to Dhika, Ari, Ayu and Penny for looking after us so well around the pool. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all the trimmings at a very reasonable price in Seminyak then you would be hard pressed to go past The Courtyard By Marriott. We have stayed here twice since November 2024 and are in the process of booking our third visit in June this year through Eka. Congratulations to Chris and all of your fantastic staff for making your hotel our favourite place to stay in Bali.

It was my first stay at the Hotel and third time for my wife and kid. They always say that I need to experience myself staying at the Courtyard, and I always wonder why. My daughter always fancy breakfast at the hotel, but this time, she always brags about the bagel that she can make herself. OMG!!! Not only the Bagel is good, but the whole menu is great! They may not offer plenty of choices like other hotel breakfast, but it is just enough for your belly to enjoy the morning. The room was very very nice. We had an upgrade to a better room with pool view, and the room was big enough for us 3 and our luggage. There was a small table but enough for me to work, yes I had to work on my holidays. But thanks to the layout of the room, it was very comfortable, and the balcony was also nice. Unfortunately, they did not have a drying hanger that we can dry our swim clothes, although I saw in several rooms has that. The one thing that makes Courtyard by Marriott so unforgettable are the staffs. Yes the hotel staffs are very nice, no no, they are not nice, they are warm and cheerful and it felt like home. I even saw some of the returning guests laughing and hugging the staff as if they came home. I salute to the HR Trainer for making all the staffs very 'hotelier'. Bravo! Huge thank you to Courtyard by Marriott for making our stay very warm. And also thank you to Ms. Yukti, Ms. Pebri, Mr. Dhika, Mr. Wika, Mr. Teja, Ms. Chelsea and Mr. Merta. I also want to thank the Ms. Duty Manager on Night Shift Friday April 4th, I am sorry for not catching your name, for allowing us to have our family activity very early in the morning that needed to change the shift of on of your staff. I’ve been coming to Bali for years and I’ve stayed at many hotels and resorts, this is the first time I’ve stayed at courtyard and honestly, I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere now. Location is perfect, a short walk from the beach, restaurants, shops. There’s a supermarket across the road, an atm and a money changer in house. The food was excellent, highly recommend the burger on the pool bar menu, and the breakfast buffet had many many options and always fresh and evolving. The layout of the hotel is perfect with 2 pools, one with a swim up bar, and a cool grass area with bean bags to soak up the sun all day long or have a game of table tennis with one of the staff or another hotel guest. The room was modern, clean and had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Special mention to the gym which had everything you need to keep training on your trip (the photos on the site don’t show that it’s a really well equipped gym). While everything was excellent in this hotel, the real standout are the staff. Honestly, the friendliest, most accommodating and engaging staff out of any hotel I’ve stayed in. Whether they’re in reception, the pool area or housekeeping, they all care about making your experience memorable, nothing is too hard and they go above and beyond with the little details just to make things easy. Service is honestly exceptional and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Can’t wait until my next visit!

Nothing to say but just amazing hotel to stay in, for couples or families. All you need you will find it. Great swimming pool, very nice bar, very good resturant and the food here is really good. I've been attended from one staff her name is Ayu...she's just amazing, friendly and very helpful. She's just beyond!!

We stayed at The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa as a group of four women to celebrate International Women’s Day, and our experience was absolutely unforgettable! To our surprise, the hotel upgraded our room to an ocean-view suite for the occasion, making our celebration even more special. The attention to detail from the staff was incredible—they decorated our bed with a heartfelt congratulatory message, which was a beautiful and touching gesture. The hotel is perfectly located right by the ocean, just a 7-minute walk from the main street with shops and restaurants. Beach clubs like Ku De Ta and Potato Head are also nearby, making it an ideal place to stay for those who want both relaxation and entertainment. The staff is extremely polite, attentive, and professional, ensuring a five-star experience in every way. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Seminyak. We will definitely return!

We attended the Seminyak Beach Resort and Spa in March this year and could not be happier. It was our first family holiday with our 6 month old son and every single staff member was amazing. The attention to detail and overall quality was second to none. We stayed in a villa so we could use the pool while our son had his naps and were so happy we chose this. Our villa host's were Tude and Aussie and they were exceptional, attending to all of our needs, even fashioning adorable animals out of towels for our son. Another special mention is for Nika, our breakfast host who was always so helpful even offering to hold our son while we ate. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute. The location is amazing. The infinity pool overlooking the beach is just perfect. The rooms are lovely. The gardens are beautiful. Nika, Cynthia, Made Adi and the whole team from reception, breakfast, pool service team and room service provided an incredible service and were very friendly. Picturesque, quiet and relaxing, we will definitely be back.

We stayed at this hotel for three days and two nights, and it truly felt like home. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional—every staff member, from reception to housekeeping, was incredibly friendly and eager to assist. The service was impeccable, and their warm attention to detail made our stay feel personal and special. The hotel itself is immaculate, with beautifully maintained rooms and common areas, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight of our mornings—while the variety wasn’t vast, the offerings were fresh, tasty, and satisfying. It would be great to see a bit more variety in the options, but the quality of the food made up for it, and everything tasted wonderfully fresh. A special mention goes to Dwi, the waitress who served our family during breakfast. She was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to start our day off right. This resort is an ideal destination for families, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and fun in a welcoming environment. It’s the kind of place where you truly feel cared for, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make your stay memorable.

This is good 4 stars hotel. The hotel is nice and well-located. The rooms are big and clean. Nice infinity pool. Good cocktails in the pool bar. More than average quality of food in room service and breakfast. The hotel reception falls far short of the standards expected for a 5-star resort. The space is dark, with a low ceiling that makes it feel even more cramped. The furniture is outdated and lacks charm, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere upon arrival. A stark contrast to the image a hotel of this caliber should present. Very disappointing. For a 5-star hotel at this price, you expect flawless quality. Instead, the towels were gray and tired-looking. These small details make a big difference in a luxury experience, and here, they gave an impression of neglect. Very disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. The service was far too intrusive. The staff would call out our names loudly at breakfast, interrupt our conversations to ask personal questions about our plans for the day, and repeatedly question us about where we were from and what we were doing. Even after asking multiple times to be left alone, the behavior didn’t change. A warm welcome is appreciated, but this was overwhelming. If you value your privacy, this might not be the place for you.

A truly stunning hotel, we had some issues at the start since we supposedly got an upgrade, which was worse than the room we booked.instead of looking at the beach, we got a room looking at the family pool a.k.a. children’s pool.we spoke to the manager about it and the problem was resolved quickly since we got our originally booked hotel room. The staff is extremely nice, everybody is doing the best to make you feel comfortable. I really like the atmosphere that they are creating especially the breakfast is remarkable since it offers a variety of different foods from different regions of the world. I am completely in love with this place and we come back for sure.

We had an amazing stay at Alila Seminyak. The hotel is stunning — beautifully designed with breathtaking ocean views. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast spread was lovely, with something for every taste. What truly sets this place apart is the service. Every single member of staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Special thanks to Cakar at the pool, who took great care of us, and to Wendi at the spa, who gave me a super massage. The spa itself is serene and high quality — well worth a visit. A note for beach lovers: the ocean here is too rough for swimming, but the hotel’s pools more than make up for it — they’re beautiful and relaxing, with stunning views and great service. The location is also excellent — right in Seminyak, close to great restaurants and shops, yet peaceful and private. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel with the best beach front views. If you stay in a Ocean view room you will be lucky to see the sunset every afternoon. Great infinity pool with picturesque views. Delicious buffet breakfast and lot of varieties to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommended and love to come back.

Absolutely a magnificent hotel. The best one in Seminyak for sure. We found a special cake for our son's 1st birthday along with a greeting from the GM when we entered our room. It was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant's staff was willing to hold on to our son so then me and my wife could have a little moment together for our dinner. We got a bunch of cute bunny dolls for our son along with a big baby bed. The foods were amazing, our room was huge, and the band on the Beach Bar was incredible. We came here for a refreshing drink by the beach. The place looks great and the pool are is amazing. Everything is very clean and we really liked our stop here. They have a nice menu and the drinks are really good. You can easily spend the day here by the beach with their nice pool and lovely view. Overall great experience and is really recommended.

Best Ever Stay – Totally Worth the Price! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most amazing time during our stay here – truly the best ever resort experience and absolutely worth every penny. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway! We stayed in a one-bedroom pool villa, and honestly, you can’t ask for more. The villa had everything – a private pool, jacuzzi, open shower – pure indulgence and comfort blended perfectly. From the moment we arrived, the welcome and hospitality were warm and exceptional. The team really goes the extra mile to make you feel special. One of the standout experiences was the complimentary afternoon tea, served directly in our villa. It’s the kind of luxury that makes you feel pampered in the best way possible. On one of the days, we had to leave early for an excursion, and they thoughtfully packed us a royal-style breakfast box at 2 AM! That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. Another big plus is the breakfast setup. Unlike most places, here you don’t have to rush – they serve à la carte breakfast till 2 PM, and everything we tried was absolutely top-notch. The direct beach access was a dream, and having dinner with a sunset view was a highlight of our trip. They even allowed a free photoshoot with our personal photographer, something many resorts don’t permit. Huge thanks to the team for being so accommodating! The location is spot-on – just a 2-minute walk to the best vegetarian restaurant “Beach Bowl”, and Seminyak Mall is within walking distance too. Only minor downside – we experienced a delay in food service once at Breeze Restaurant, but that’s honestly a small blip in an otherwise flawless stay. Also, the complimentary offerings – from thoughtful amenities to small surprises – were genuinely attractive and added to the overall value. If you're considering a stay here – just go for it. It’s everything you dream of in a tropical escape and more! 🌴✨

The resort is visually beautiful, and the sunset view is truly stunning. Beach access is smooth and easy, which is definitely a highlight. However, the overall experience was disappointing and far from what I expected from a resort of this level. •I requested a late check-out for at least 2 hours, and the staff claimed the hotel was fully booked. When I pointed out that there were empty rooms, they literally laughed and said, “They requested your exact room!” — which felt like clear dishonesty and lack of professionalism. It came across as careless and dismissive. •They also ruined some of my brand-new clothes through their laundry service. A few items came back with visible bleach stains, despite being recently purchased and in perfect condition. No apology or compensation was offered. •Breakfast service was extremely slow, taking over an hour to serve. The delay was consistent and frustrating, especially in the mornings. •The massage was way too rough and far from relaxing. The therapist felt untrained . I woke up the next day with pain and bruises, and couldn’t even enjoy the session while it was happening. •Housekeeping is limited to once a day, while in most other resorts I’ve stayed at, it’s done at least twice daily or on request. This made it harder to keep the room feeling fresh. •There’s no proper quality control on essentials — for example, the jacuzzi water was completely cold and was never fixed or checked. I love peaceful stays and beautiful locations, but unfortunately, the poor service and lack of attention to detail made it hard for me to leave feeling satisfied.

We thoroughly enjoyed part of our honeymoon here. The staff was phenomenal. We will definitely be back. We recommend ordering food cooked more thoroughly than you are used to. We did have "bali belly" the last day of our trip due to a slightly u dercooked burger. The staff spoke with us and tried to make it right, including having a licensed doctor cone to our room. We appreciated the level of care the staff had for myself and my husband. Did not deter us from coming back. The view of the beach for breakfast and the sound of waves during our massage were the best two parts.

A fantastic hotel! Definitely worth its 5 stars. Having stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, this is a very good one. Staff are impressive, knowing what you need before you do. All very happy to help and greet you. Room make-up is done seamlessly whilst out of the room, or a convenient time is scheduled to ensure minimal disruption. Minibar is complimentary and restocked daily. My only feedback would be a turn down service. Breakfast there is a lot of choice and can have multiple dishes/drinks. Afternoon tea also OK. We stayed in One Bedroom Pool Villa and the room and pool are fantastic. Can actually swim in the pool rather than it just being for a cool down. There is no loungers in this room type, so we found ourselves at the main pool to sunbathe. This wasn’t an issue though as the staff came over to check what drinks we’d like. However there is 3 lots of outdoor seating at the villa with one being a comfy daybed. Airport pick up was smooth - a luxury vehicle with wide seats and water refreshments. Security at both the front entrance and on the beach. We arranged taxis separately and when they arrived to the lobby, hotel staff happy to help you in and help you exit. No feedback on the spa as we didn’t try. Overall, a wonderful fuss free stay - a relaxing experience.
