One of our favourite hotel stays...we had a wonderful stay at Courtyard Marriott Seminyak! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but still quiet and relaxing inside the resort. The staff were absolutely outstanding: warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The cleaners were so quick and thorough every day, keeping everything spotless, and the concierge team was fantastic—able to organise trips to local spots with very little notice. The pool area was stunning with plenty of loungers and a great atmosphere. We felt completely at home and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone great value and memorable stay.

We were in the newly renovated pool access room and it was lovely. Couldn’t complain at all. Aircon was perfect. Staff were fantastic. The Seminyak Kitchen for dinner was amazing, the reviews are perfect for that place. We had the buffet breakfast each morning and that was lovely. Location was good, we ordered go jeks out the front with ease and the hotel provides a free shuttle around the surrounding area. We went as a couple but I would definitely bring my kids there next time. They had a foam pool party one day we were there as well which was fun.

Thankyou to the lovely staff of Courtyard, this review is not about you however I am so upset. My partner and I stayed at Courtyard for a week, our room looked over a literal garbage tip. My partner had bali belly twice which we believed the second time was definitely from the food in the hotel as that’s the only place he ate at us I had bali belly once. It really made me reconsider whether the food is actually safe. The workers are lovely and were so welcoming so thankyou to all of you. Please if you’re thinking about staying here double check the food.

Everything you need is within walking distance, the beach is very close, about five minutes on foot at a brisk pace. I took off one star for the review because it was my birthday on October 9th. We warned the reception staff about this when we checked into the hotel, she promised to make congratulatory decorations in the room. In the end, she wasn't there. When I returned to the hotel on my birthday late in the evening, I discovered that the promise had not been fulfilled, I told another employee at the reception about it, and he explained to me that they do not do this at the hotel. Then I replied that I would leave a review. The next day, on October 10, my room was decorated with balloons, and he explained to me that they didn't do this at the hotel. I replied that I would leave a review. The next day, on October 10, my room was decorated with balloons, and I received a greeting card and a birthday cake. We had a room with breakfast included, and the food was delicious at breakfast. The rooms were well-maintained and clean, but the pool was a bit outdated, and I think it needed to be updated.

We had an amazing stay at the Courtyard. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the pool area was relaxing. The breakfast buffet had so many delicious options, and the location made it easy to explore nearby. Highly recommend.

We had the best time at this hotel. It was the start of our honeymoon and they made it so special. We had the garden pool villa and it was stunning. The amenities were great, it was clean, and the house keeping service always incredible. Huge thank you to Aussie and Tude who looked after us during our stay. We've traveled a lot and stayed in many good hotels but this one exceeds any expectations. The hotel is very beautiful, the swimming pool is amazing (the view, staff and services), provides high quality in all the aspects and the staff is doing everything to make you feel comfortable and important, even surprising me for my birthday. Many, many special thanks to Uma (our customer service rep) and Nika for going above and beyond and making our stay memorable - we usually don't go twice in a place but because of you we will come back here in our next year's vacation.

Our first time to Bali, and all we can say is wow!!! From seeing the beautiful and smiling faces of staff in the morning for breakfast, to each hello and goodbye leaving the hotel, and welcoming to the pool area, we could not be more impressed with the quality, professionalism and detail of this resort. A massive thank you to Cyntia, Okta, Alam, Uma and Puja for making our stay extra special from start to finish, ensuring we had everything we needed even in times of sickness. It was a dreamlike experience to spend my last schedule in Bali at this hotel. If I come to Bali again, I think it would be good to stay for a while and use the swimming pool only. Uma! My wife and I stayed for two weeks in one of the villas and honestly, the hotel was nothing short of amazing. We had an incredible time at The Seminyak Spa & Beach Resort and nothing was ever too much trouble. The rooms were made up twice a day, the facilities were clean the views were amazing. We considered one or two days going to other beach clubs and then quickly realised that we’d likely be disappointed because there wouldn’t be a lot that could beat the service we got by the pool or in our villa every day. The spa was fantastic and the team did an amazing job of helping us relax even more. Whilst all the staff were fantastic, there were a couple of people who really made the stay that much better. Specifically Aussie, Tuday, Trisna & Alam, thank you to each of you for being very friendly and helpful each day. Thank you to the Seminyak Spa & Beach resort, we’d highly recommend you!

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a really lovely experience. The room was very nice, clean, and full of character, with a charming historical feel. The staff were exceptional — always friendly and willing to help, and they even managed to fit me in for a last-minute spa booking, which I really appreciated. The swimming pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant food was average — the special buffet with the fire show was fun and lively, but the food itself was quite ordinary, and lack of choices. My only small complaints were about housekeeping and maintenance. Housekeeping forgot to refill the shower gel when they cleaned the room (which I only discovered mid-shower!), and the balcony railing was a bit loose, which felt slightly unsafe. Overall, I’d still recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and relaxing atmosphere. Just a few small improvements could make it perfect!

Our stay at Alila was simply wonderful—the best hotel I've ever been to! The service was exceptional, and we were always greeted with a smile everywhere we went. We even received an unexpected upgrade and our room was fantastic. The atmosphere here is beautiful and the entire hotel is extremely clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which left nothing to be desired. I thoroughly enjoyed this vacation and would recommend Alila to anyone!

My wife and I had an amazing time at Alila Seminyak. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way. What stood out most was the impeccable service. Every team member we met was friendly, attentive, polite, and genuinely warm. They checked in on us so thoughtfully and consistently that it made our stay feel incredibly personal and special. Special thanks to Krisna, our wonderful server at Seasalt who took such great care of us; Artini, the talented pastry chef behind those delightful desserts; and Merta Yasa, who greeted us daily at the fruit bar with the sweetest local produce.We’d also like to thank Ayu, Dwi, and Cakra from the Beach Bar for their cheerful hospitality, Alvis at reception for the warmest of welcomes upon check-in and Haswan, the executive chef who always made time for a friendly chat. The property itself is beautifully designed, contemporary yet relaxed, with a stunning beachfront location that comes with the most beautiful sunset view and a fantastic breakfast buffet to start each morning. We left with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the entire Alila team. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks to Alila Seminyak, my wife has fallen in love with Bali all over again!

Overall, great stay! Got upgraded to the Alila ocean view suite and we faced the bar and it was amazing to see and hear the oceans during the day and night. Staff was very kind and helped me with dropping off and picking up laundry. We were in L02 and you can hear the beach club next door. Beware if you are a light sleeper! Luckily, we brought a noise machine and we had some really early tours so we were exhausted by 9-10pm but the club doesn’t close till midnight or 2am depending on the day of the week. We really liked the family pool since it felt a bit more private and had better views of the ocean compared to the main pool. They provided us a breakfast box for a 3.30am tour we had, which was very kind! Very secure hotel and beautifully kept clean. Rooms were spacious! Just make sure to ask for a room away from potato head beach club if you are a light sleeper.

A relaxing retreat for a special occasion amidst a beautiful scenic setting, great food, drinks, people with lovely smiles and fantastic hospitality. Great staff with a special mention to Yogi. Accommodating us into our villa with the private pool before our check in and into private suite after checking out is highly appreciated. We have had a great time and enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary with you all. The card was lovely as was the bouquet though the bag as I saw was for every guest not just for the occasion as was told 😃 Food room service wasn’t as fresh or nice as when we had at the restaurant. The jacuzzi was a serious let down unfortunately and didn’t fix even after someone did have a lol into it! Few other misses were immediately sorted when dialled 0. Great food and lovely drinks especially the Iron Booster and Antioxidant. Indian food section and vegetarian/vegan options during afternoon tea or otherwise really need to be looked into. Overall a thank you for making our stay so special, memorable and worth coming back to stay with you all when next, if in Bali. Pics justify how much we enjoyed it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our first booking through Luxury Escapes and OMG — what an incredible experience! We were met at the airport by The Samaya van and warmly welcomed by the beautiful staff. Our pool villa was spacious, private, and absolutely stunning. The resort itself is outstanding — every staff member was kind, caring, and so polite, and they all remembered our names, which made it feel extra special. We genuinely loved every one of them. The food was divine, and on our final night our amazing butler, Kris, arranged a romantic table overlooking the sunset — just beautiful. 🌅 A huge bonus is the complimentary transport anywhere in Seminyak, which made getting around so easy. We highly, highly recommend staying here — and we’ll definitely be back! 🌺

My husband and I recently spent a week at The Samaya, and it was nothing short of a glorious experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine kindness that we instantly felt at home. The staff at this resort are truly remarkable — the most kind, attentive, and helpful people we have ever encountered in our travels. Every detail of our stay was handled with such care and professionalism, yet always delivered with a personal touch. Whether it was the thoughtful service at breakfast, the immaculate upkeep of the villas, or the way every request was met with a smile, the level of hospitality was exceptional in every sense. The resort itself is stunning — serene, beautifully maintained, and the perfect setting for a truly relaxing escape. But what made our stay unforgettable was the people. The dedication and warmth of the team at The Samaya elevated our holiday beyond all expectations. We will absolutely return.

Quite honestly the best experience we have ever had travelling. We travelled to Samaya Seminyak for our honeymoon and the level of service was exceptional. Nothing was too much for the staff, who were happy to oblige or come up with solutions to any requests we had. Simple things like each staff member greeting us warmly and remembering our names went a long way. We had a 1 bed villa, which was extremely spacious, modern and well laid out. It backed on to a small terrace/garden with a swimming pool. The pool was lovely, but is quite deep (1.65m) for an inexperienced swimmer. The food and beverages are delicious and it's worth booking at their onsite restaurant for dinner. You can also order breakfast to the room as part of your package, which is a great touch. Would thoroughly recommend samaya seminyak for an unforgettable stay! Amardeep and Kavita

This resort was amazing! First, the hospitality. Everyone here was very friendly and attentive to us. I was impressed that the staff even knew our names and addresed us accordingly when we arrive at the restaurant or in greeting us as we passed. Next was the location. The resort is within the town area so just stepping out of the resort will bring you into the town area. A 3 minute walk will take you to the main street where you can find food, shops, spas etc. And not the resort itself. The resort is situated right at the beach so you get a beautiful view of the sea at all times, whether you're having breakfast or dinner at the restaurant, or just chilling at the poolside. Although there are villas at the main resort, we booked one of the larger private villas which was located across the street. You can either walk over in about 2 minutes or call for a buggy and they will transport you to and from your villa. I do want to just say that while there are 2 restaurants at the resort, the main one is Breeze at the beach area. Although the website and GM's letter states that the other restaurant, Brasserie, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, that is incorrect. The Brasserie only serves afternoon tea and is totally empty most times. But then, you can always head to the Breeze very easily. All in, I would say that we had a great stay at The Samaya and will definitely be back in the future!
