Just about the best all round hotel compared to many hotels in many countries. Security is tops, room is high quality with sound deadening windows, view is very good and position is one of the best. Everything is a few steps away and local shop pricing is cheap. Dining options is the same, restaurants are abundant along with all massages and beauty treatments. This hotel has a free buggy service as well which is like the cherry on top, just that bit extra but inclusive of your room price. Breakfast has a large range which also includes real bacon😍 Free popcorn and fairy floss in the open air lobby too.

A beautiful hotel with great service. It’s on a busy street with lots of market stalls and restaurants, and the beach is just at the end of the road (6 min walk). The staff here were incredibly friendly and Happy hour by the pool was great value - our favourite bartender Penny made it even better! The food was amazing and diverse but it should be noted that as it’s a luxury hotel you pay luxury prices; the food and laundry were too expensive to justify often - especially the buffet breakfast (if it’s not included in your stay). If you’re looking for a classic hotel getaway in paradise with a huge pool and swim up bar - this is for you but there are definitely more Bali-authentic and budget friendly options around.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Seminyak Bali with two friends, and it was a delightful experience overall. Here are some highlights: Staff The staff here truly made the stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. They have a unique way of making you feel right at home, especially during breakfast, where their attentive service really stood out. Room The room was clean and modern, which we appreciated. However, it was a bit smaller than I would have liked and felt slightly damp at times. While it served its purpose, it might not be ideal for those looking for a more spacious feel. Location The hotel’s location is unbeatable! Nestled in the bustling heart of Seminyak, it’s surrounded by fantastic spas, massage places, restaurants, and cafes—everything you’d want within walking distance. It’s perfect for those who enjoy being in the center of the action. That said, being in such a vibrant area means you might not get the expansive resort vibe some travelers look for. Breakfast Breakfast was a daily highlight for us. The selection was just right—not overwhelming but also not too limited—with high-quality options that tasted fantastic. We loved the relaxing start to our day so much that we usually lingered over breakfast for a good two hours! If you’re looking for a cozy, modern stay in a lively area with exceptional staff and a great breakfast, Courtyard Marriott Seminyak is a solid choice. It’s a wonderful option for travelers who value location and service over sprawling resort spaces.

When we first entered the resort, it was delightful to see how well-maintained and visually appealing the place is. The initial impression was positive, with vibrant surroundings and a lively atmosphere. What I Didn’t Like: Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. During check-in, no one offered a welcome drink directly; instead, guests had to serve themselves from a corner, which felt impersonal. There were no hand towels provided, and staff did not accompany us to our room or offer a tour of the property to explain where key amenities like the restaurant were located. The resort itself felt overcrowded, with so many people around that it resembled an airport rather than a serene getaway. This detracted from the ambiance, making it unsuitable for those seeking peace and quiet. While they did provide a cake in our room, it was disappointing in taste and didn’t add to the experience. Overall, I would not recommend this resort for families or couples looking for a romantic and tranquil stay. It feels more suited for travelers who enjoy a busy and bustling environment.

We loved our stay here! Everything was amazing! We came here on our honeymoon with our 2 little kids (1.5 and 3.5 year old) and it was the perfect spot for us to relax and for the kids to have the best time ever. There were 2 good sized pools which the kids could stand up in and the kids club was great. The staff were so warm and inviting and went out of their way so many times to make the stay memorable for both us and the kids. The food at the restaurant was incredible (especially the buffet breakfast). There is a pond at the reception and the kids loved feeding the fish everyday. The rooms were lovely and lots of little touches. It’s also walking distance to the beach and lots of shops around.

We stayed at this hotel for three days and two nights, and it truly felt like home. The service was impeccable, and their warm attention to detail made our stay feel personal and special. The hotel itself is immaculate, with beautifully maintained rooms and common areas, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight of our mornings—while the variety wasn’t vast, the offerings were fresh, tasty, and satisfying. It would be great to see a bit more variety in the options, but the quality of the food made up for it, and everything tasted wonderfully fresh. A special mention goes to Dwi, the waitress who served our family during breakfast. She was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to start our day off right. This resort is an ideal destination for families, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and fun in a welcoming environment. It’s the kind of place where you truly feel cared for, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make your stay memorable.

Went here for a private 100 candle light without champagne. dinner was set up by the beautiful wadina she was amazing from start to finish accommodated everything I requested. I've eaten alot of different foods and there food really stood out fresh and beautifully presented. Thank you for an amazing night will never forget ❤️ will definitely return

Awi at the pool was always attentive to our needs and even helped capture beautiful photos for us. The food and service were amazing!!! We loved Alila!!

The service is excellent, the hotel environment is great, and the breakfast is abundant. However, the guest room floors are not very high and a bit old. Nevertheless, it is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Bali. Overall, it’s perfect and highly recommended!

We had a great experience at Alila hotel. The rooms were big and clean, the service was great and the food tasted delicious. The beach club was very fun and a great way to enjoy the night. The staff were lovely and approached work with a smile. The hotel is a walking distance to Mrs Sippy and provides a shuttle bus to Seminyak Village. Highly recommended, would stay here again.

Lovely hotel with excellent service and a beautiful beachfront. We stayed in the Oceanview Suite. AC was weak but the staff adjusted. Location is off the main area of Seminyak so it was relaxing. The constant beat of bass in music was disappointing though. The staff was outstanding from check-in to laundry to poolside to room.

We thoroughly enjoyed part of our honeymoon here. The staff was phenomenal. We will definitely be back. We recommend ordering food cooked more thoroughly than you are used to. We did have "bali belly" the last day of our trip due to a slightly u dercooked burger. The staff spoke with us and tried to make it right, including having a licensed doctor cone to our room. We appreciated the level of care the staff had for myself and my husband. Did not deter us from coming back. The view of the beach for breakfast and the sound of waves during our massage were the best two parts.

A fantastic hotel! Definitely worth its 5 stars. Having stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, this is a very good one. Staff are impressive, knowing what you need before you do. All very happy to help and greet you. Room make-up is done seamlessly whilst out of the room, or a convenient time is scheduled to ensure minimal disruption. Minibar is complimentary and restocked daily. My only feedback would be a turn down service. Breakfast there is a lot of choice and can have multiple dishes/drinks. Afternoon tea also OK. We stayed in One Bedroom Pool Villa and the room and pool are fantastic. Can actually swim in the pool rather than it just being for a cool down. There is no loungers in this room type, so we found ourselves at the main pool to sunbathe. This wasn’t an issue though as the staff came over to check what drinks we’d like. However there is 3 lots of outdoor seating at the villa with one being a comfy daybed. Airport pick up was smooth - a luxury vehicle with wide seats and water refreshments. Security at both the front entrance and on the beach. We arranged taxis separately and when they arrived to the lobby, hotel staff happy to help you in and help you exit. No feedback on the spa as we didn’t try. Overall, a wonderful fuss free stay - a relaxing experience.

Went to this hotel for my Honeymoon for 10 days This hotel was an experience for sure, breath-taking views on the beach, great villa and everything looks wonderful. However the staff seemed very unhappy, moody and they delay too much. The room service was alright. The breakfast by the beach was a below average. You get the feeling that there is to much competition between the staff and the servers need training for sure smile methodology would be something good to look into. Yes this is a good hotel, but very outdated. And won’t get any value for money. -Training courses for staff. On service and persona traits check -Right way to serve people in the restaurant, don’t go over people to put food on the table. -Smile and be more professional, I went to majority of the tourist attractions with most hospital-able people with smiles on their face which made the experience wonderful. There are more beautiful hotels in the area with better service and the same price I took there biggest villa But I was was satisfied with my over all stay, but would not come back Value for money not worth it when the service is bad

The friendly service was available 24 hours a day, ensuring that every need was met promptly and with a smile. The entire team, from the cleaning staff to the restaurant crew, was fantastic. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Special thanks go to Eka, Kris, the wonderful drivers and restaurant team and Karmaya (the hotel manager), all of whom made our experience extra special. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel like valued guests at all times. We were blown away by the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere, which added to the overall charm of the resort. The level of care and personalized service we received made us feel truly pampered, and we cannot wait to return. If we could give Samaya Seminyak more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! It’s a place where luxury meets heartfelt service, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional getaway. Only downside we experienced (not related to the hotel) was how busy the Semniyak area was! Takes a while to get around
