I recently had the opportunity to stay at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, and while there were some positive aspects, several areas fell short of my expectations.
**Room and View:**
The suite was spacious enough for a family of five and offered a wonderful view that enhanced the experience.
**Bathroom:**
The bathroom was functional but did not meet my expectations. It definitely needed some improvements to enhance comfort and cleanliness.
**Dining Experience:**
The all-inclusive aspect of the stay was disappointing. On the first day, guests are allowed to access only two restaurants, which feels inadequate for an all-inclusive package. One of the restaurants only serves burger sandwiches, and the quality was not fresh. While other dining options become available on the second day, the early closing time of one restaurant (5:30 PM) significantly restricts choices. This is unusual for a resort of this kind and negatively impacted the overall value of the experience. However, breakfast at the "Seven" restaurant was good, which was a positive highlight.
**Activities:**
On a positive note, the available water sports were interesting and added some excitement to the stay.
**Conclusion:**
Overall, while Rixos Bab Al Bahr has potential due to its location and activities, the bathroom facilities and limited dining options left much to be desired. If you’re considering a stay here, be prepared for these limitations, and I recommend staying for at least two days to fully enjoy the all-inclusive experience and enjoy the free drink on beach at night enjoy the DJ

Wonderful experience. The property is very vast and beautifully built. The pools are clean and big. I would definitely recommend the infinity pool. The restaurants, buffet and bars are numerous with a wide variety of food and drinks. Ambience is to die for. And last but definitely not the least, the hospitality is awesome. I would like to mention that Ismail really looked after us and made our entire experience from check in to check out absolutely seamless.

Awesome stay with something to keep you occupied throughout the day
Exclusive sport club was excellent with their paddle boarding , yoga, bungee fitness, aqua activities. Shoutout to all the excellent coaches
We had a couple of meals at the Italian restaurant.. they were very accommodating for our dietary preferences
Breakfast was extensive… but yes, can get crowded. The timings are till a very generous 11 am. Hope more hotels follow that cue
Open water was ideal for training in calm

Not a grouse but just positive feedback: Our bathroom could do with an additional hand support to enter the bathtub. It’s a fall hazard when slippery since there is nothing to hold along the side . The anti Slip mats were in fact more slippery.
Kids activities were awesome
All in all, it’s a great place to be; especially with children . Awesome location , good service.

We had a fantastic stay at Rixos Bab Al Bahr with our family! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our every need was met. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing a perfect home away from home. The amenities were excellent, with plenty of activities to keep both adults and children entertained. The location was ideal, offering easy access to all the hotel amenities while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. We were especially impressed with the all-inclusive as it didn't effect the quality of services and food. We highly recommend Rixos Al Bahr to any family looking for a memorable and enjoyable getaway. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had yet another fantastic stay with Rixos. Whilst there isn’t much to do in the local area, the hotel offers everything you need.
There is a good choice of activities in the day. I’m sure it’s because the team don’t want to hassle guests but it would be good for them to announce/encourage these activities as we did miss a few things.
The rooms are comfortable and clean and there is a good range of dining facilities. The Asian restaurant was closed during our stay which was a shame but we tried the other a la carte’s and they were great. The choice on the buffet and quality of food is fantastic and a special mention has to go to the curries they have on offer which is thanks to chef Rajeevan. Wow. They were so tasty I had to thank him in person and he kindly gave me a few tips!
The main buffet restaurant can get busy and a queue could form on occasions however the staff, especially Ibrahim, who I believe was restaurant management (or should be) worked so hard to get everyone seated as quickly as possible and the queue never lasted long.
Thanks for having us Rixos. Another unforgettable stay. We look forward to returning soon!
