A small and welcoming hotel set just back from the main road. The hotel is quiet despite being close to the road where there are many shops and restaurants. The Leaf was a good hotel to use for relaxing, enjoying the sun by the pools and having a lunch or drinks by the pool. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay there and was very happy with the service from all staff. The only issue we saw was the way guests "reserved" sunbeds by the pools by placing their towels on the beds from early morning. This meant that some guests could not use a sun bed. The hotel has a few notices stating that reservation of beds is not allowed but, unfortunately, they do not enforce the rule. The leaf should stop guests doing this as it is unfair. Reinforce your own rules please.

Great stay! Location is very good and close to the beach as well as general stores and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Good value for money! The staff was very helpful and professional. We especially want to thank Oi, who made sure we had a vegan option for breakfast. She really went out of her way to assure the whole staff knew and took care of us! The breakfast buffet was decent, turns into an Italian restaurant in the evening, also recommended.

The pools have limited sunbed capacity and are often fully occupied early in the morning. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. Reception staff rarely greet guests. The hotel is attractive and set in a garden, but a major downside is that the staff often wakes you as early as 6 a.m. with leaf raking and similar activities.

The hotel is on the main road within easy walking distance from restaurants, bars, supermarkets and tailor's shops etc. Once inside the accommodation, gardens and pools you are surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife. The noise from the road becomes silent. The rooms are large, well furnished and comfortable. The grounds, public areas and rooms are kept immaculate by the staff. The pools were surrounded by many sunbeds, parasols and tables. All staff are very pleasant and keen to help. I have mobility issues and the hotel took an order from me for bottled water and soft drinks, the local 7/11 delivered to reception who then brought it to my room. I mentioned issues with the shower having nothing to hold onto and floor being slippery. Within the hour they sourced a mat and an elbow crutch for my use which helped. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was excellent, it happily tweaked the menu to suit. The food was plentiful and delicious. Breakfast had options for cereal, fruit, pastries, breads and hot local dishes, assorted freshly cooked eggs boiled, poached, scrambled, fried and omelette cooked to order.

Fantastic chilled out place with lovely staff. Rooms very comfortable with nice decor. 10 min walk from the beach is the only slight negative.

GRL Enterprise

From the moment we checked in we were WELL attended to. The staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was very nice and food was both plentiful and fresh. The rooms were VERY nice and clean and room service was top notch. The beach was an easy 2-3 min. walk and is simply amazing. My only two issues were: 1) the pool closed at 7PM … very sad as I so wished to swim in the evening:( 2) the concierge/hotel offers were WAY more expensive than other offers right in the same area. Thai Message cost 1000 Baht on site but if you walked anywhere else within 2 min. It was 300 Baht. Shuttle on site from Resort to Phuket airport was 2000 Baht where if you walked anywhere else within 1 min. it was 1200 Baht.

This hotel is excellent for the price. The room was a bit outdated but it was neat.The breakfast is great and has a lot of options. Pool is nice and the beach is only 100m from the hotel. Many restaurants nearby and 7eleven. Kudos to the housekeeping. The room was very clean and all the surrounding spaces, pool, garden, lobby, restaurant. Wonderful stay I recommend it!

I booked a garden room more for the promise of a garden view than the size of the room, I was to be disappointed as my view was 2 tree trunks and a wall. I asked about moving but it wasn't to be. So I accepted that I'd had my amazing views in Thailand. Sadly turned out it was also mozzie central probably due to being in a dark corner (no sun on the balcony at anytime which was a terrace as it was ground floor- I should have checked when booking) and next to a stagnant stream. So the balcony was hostile territory at anytime of the day as turns out mozzies do bite in the day😭. The room was as the images, large and dated but fine, the grounds and pool were lovely and the breakfast was your standard fare - eggs galore. If only I had not had that awful room 7134.

A fantastic resort at a very good price. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pools are both lovely, and the staff service is great. A perfect quiet location just 5 minutes walk from the beach. I will definitely go back here!

We were supposed to be staying at The Leaf on the Sands, but upon arrival, we were informed that there were no rooms available, despite the room having been booked for months. This was very disappointing and frustrating. We were then told we would be moved to The Lake Oceanside, and given coupons for a free dinner, for the inconvenience. Oceanside turned out to be great. It had a direct, short path to the beach, the staff were friendly, and the food was amazing.
