Location is great close to restaurants and bars! Safe to walk day and night. Nice budget friendly place for kids and adults. Pools are small but you can take the shuttle to their main Bay Gardens Beach Resort to have access to beach, bigger pool and small water park. You can do their all inclusive package, half board (breakfast and dinner only) or breakfast only. It can be expensive in their restaurant if you pay out of pocket. I personally don't think the buffet was worth $130 that included food at 2 drinks. Their main fast food restaurant is KFC in case you travel with picky kids. Safe in our room didn't work. If you want to book a good tour do a private tour of Soufiere which had bananas and sauce tasting, pictures stops, drink tasting, cassava bread tasting, nature walk can be difficult for people with bad knees but the views of the Pitons are incredible, the sulfur springs (mud bath) was nice but can become crowded. Wear a bathing suit and bring towel. Warning, you will stink, but it is worth it. Waterfall was great! Bring money to buy things you may want to get. Overall, it was a good stay and I would come back.

The customer service at this hotel was very poor. Giving two stars instead of one because many of the workers were very nice and the facilities, food, and location weren't so bad. The rooms and furniture around the hotel and resort were a little dated, but decent. The real problem is very few of the staff members were helpful at all, with a complete inability to answer any questions we had. Many times there was nobody at the towel station or we were told no towels or no open chairs at the beach, and when we asked when lunch started at 1:10 pm, they told us it started at 12:30 pm but they were running late so it wasn't ready and couldn't give us a time that it would start. The menus apparently didn't have everything you could order as we saw people with different food, and some staff said you needed reservations for dinner and some didn't and we never actually had to make one which was weird since we were told the first night that we would need to. With the all-inclusive package, staff were contradictory and sometimes made you still sign a bill and others acted confused when I asked if we needed to. The food itself was pretty good, but the service was extremely slow. The same was true for the bartenders at both the resort and hotel in general. They were nice, but sometimes you got the wrong drink, or it would take super long. The place was just very confusing and inconsistent all around with the shuttle between properties sometimes being early or up to 20 minutes late. It seems like they could benefit from just more training and consistency because I think the workers were nice. For an all-inclusive experience that costs a lot of money, we expected much better and more professional service. Overall we had a great time in Saint Lucia, but the experience here and level of service really didn't match up to the beauty of the island and other people we met for taxis services and excursions.

Bay Gardens Hotel is a lovely place to stay in St. Lucia. It's quiet, the staff are very friendly, and security makes very regular rounds to ensure guests' safety. Outside of the pools, there is a bar and kitchen at the hotel. It's conveniently close to Massey Stores for groceries, and the mall and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. There is nothing you can't find out between Google and asking the friendly and helpful hotel staff. The shuttle bus can take you to all three Bay Gardens locations, one of which is located right on the beach, and it promptly leaves the hotel half past every hour with enough space for ~13 guests. There are also activities hosted by the hotel throughout the week, such as poolside games, Pigeon Island Hike, karaoke, bingo, and more. Feel like you're home away from home here, but be sure to get out to do activities and to see the beauty of the island, the culture (take money for souvenirs and tips), and its people!

Everything about check in and arrival was excellent. We were served quickly and shown to our room with minimal wait time. Once we found our balcony, Shem Julien, our bar tender, saw us and invited us down for a drink at the bar. His friendly attitude and pleasant demeanour meant we. We’re very happy to visit his bar that was very well stocked. He was the perfect host and we are very happy to be served by him at the hotel again.

My return to St Lucia after ten years on an emergency visit was most disappointing and apauling. I booked the hotel, and based on what I remember, then when it was managed by the parents or I should say they had more involvement. Also, Bertha and Johnny were directly involved. On arrival to the hotel, the welcome was most uninviting. I said my name and was told u booked at Inn,said no to me. U can go round the corner, and someone will be there. Arrived I had to carry my own suite case and carry on two flights of stairs. Now I know that property when it was owned by an English lady so I would never have booked that hotel. Entered the room and was so disappointed. So I proceeded to go have a shower, and that was a nightmare, from figuring out the faucet to balancing the water temperature. Anyway I Entered the tub and on getting out I feel, the hight of the tub to the floor was extremely high and when I stepped down my feet and body tilted and I slipped on the mat towards the sink. I brought it to the attention of the receptionist at the hotel, and she was more concerned about getting me to sign a waiver. Look, I can go on. However, to wrap up, I went to the restaurant and had to sit at a dirty table with four empty Heineken bottles. I then reached out to Calabash Cove, and everything was perfect. I must thank the team at Calabash Cove.
