Sucks,I paid 60$ a night only wanna clean enough sheets and pillows. I have to wear shirt and pans to sleep in case get dirt from the bed. Already on the way back to the town, can’t wait to leave here. The view is good though. But the beach is polluted. Better somewhere else not this area.

We recently had a fantastic stay at the Bayview Beach Resort in Batu Ferringhi, Penang. The building is old but it has good bones and good spaces. The lobby is spacious airy and welcoming and this continues up the rooms. Our room had two balconies with fantastic views across to the hills nearby and the ocean. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening and taking it all in. The pool is large, with a variety of depths and spaces to enjoy. The pool area also has lots of spaces to lounge around either in the sun or the shade. The grounds surrounding the hotel are really spacious and the gardens are beautifully maintained. Our room was clean and it great that you can choose what time your ooms are serviced each day. The location is good with easy access to the beach, local restaurants and shops. There are so many places to eat in the surrounding area, we did not eat much in the hotel but the buffet breakfast had good variety and was all freshly prepared. The roti and egg stations were particularly impressive. The hotel is not fancy, the rooms are a bit dated but the spacious rooms, large pool and grounds, the views and the location are hard to beat. The only negative would be that the drinks around the pool are very expensive.

Beautiful property at Batu Ferringhi in Penang. It’s around 40-50 minutes drive from the airport. We got an early check-in. The room were quite spacious with amazing view of the mountains. The staff was good to respond to any queries. They have a separate entrance to the beach & have such a nice pool. You get bike for rental just opposite to the hotel. They have good parking space. All the whole a beautiful & serene property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is showing it's age and needs a birthday but it's still a great place for a family to stay. Priced right too! I'd like to see the bar livened up, the pool tables come back and the pool bar returned to service. The long walk to the market gets tiresome, maybe a courtesy bus that operates hourly return trips to the market area? Overall still good but not great.

Overall Hotel is alright for the price you pay along that coast. The swimming pool was nice and child friendly plus the beach is clean. The rooms needs some refurbishment as the furnitures seems a bit old and there is a "funny" smell in the room.
