I am giving this a 2-star, which is sad because this could easily be so much better. We were a group of 10 and we had a great time, but I felt like we had a great time because we really enjoyed each other more so than The Breezes being a great resort.
Location: 5-star
Obviously you are right on the beach/water and the view is like a picture. I am not sure there is a way you could mess this up. Our room was a "Partial Ocean View" and I can't complain about the view at all. The casino at Baha Mar is only a 7 minute walk, so that is a positive about the location of the resort as well. It should be noted that they say there are no kids at this resort (14 and up), but there were tons of kids here.
Service: 3-star
I felt like I rarely got service with a smile. That doesn't mean people were not doing their jobs. Some staff members were great and others had a very nonchalant attitude. I don't want to be too harsh because lots of the servers at our meals were outstanding. I felt like the pool bar was filled with people who hated their life and the drinks would come back very inconsistent. They did a good job of getting us rides into town.

The room was ok, but the curtains were broken at the top allowing light into the room in the early morning. I reported it 3x and it never got fixed. Also, I am pretty sure there is a booger on the shower wall that never got cleaned. Only one room clean/towel refresh in three days. The pool tables were in disrepair and shabby. Tried to play table tennis but no unbroken balls available. The place as a whole had an old, worn feel. While I understand this is a 3 star hotel, it had the feel of 1-2 star. I will say the location is awesome. Right on the beach and beside Baha Mar. The employees were nice, but not sure they cared much about my curtain issue or the state of things in general.

Ignore the negative reviews, I really don’t get what people didn’t like. I just go back from a long weekend at breezes and would def go back. The staff was extremely friendly, they were very helpful with instructions & recommendations when my mom and I decided to go into town one day. The resort was clean and the staff was constantly cleaning the pool area (skimming the pools and hot tub, checking chemicals, collecting towels, & making sure there was no trash around). The food was solid. We didn’t try the buffet at lunch (others we spoke to had no complaints), but it did have some good breakfast & din buffet options. We typically had lunch at the beach grill, which was always good. Restaurants were pretty average with plenty of options including vegetarian. Piano bar was def the best option for drinks. I will say, if you’re looking for constant entertainment, probably not the place to be. They did have games and stuff at the pool and were always playing music but def not a party place. If I had to find something negative to say, it would be that the rooms are outdated, which honestly could just be fixed with a coat of paint, and that it lacks some amenities that other newer resorts have. But overall, the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and food was decent and that was all that mattered.

Went for the first time last week ~ it's a beautiful resort in a fabulous location with friendly and helpful staff. Everything is bright and clean, the food was decent. I enjoyed the food from the outside grill the most, and the breakfast and lunch buffets were pretty good too. The drinks were outstanding!!

This all inclusive hotel is in a beautiful location. The reviews are true the hotel is dated but the staff is friendly and the drinks stay flowing. Internet and tv is super spotty but on vacation it helps to disconnect and focus on relaxing. Breakfast buffet has staple items, lunch is best eaten at the grill def get the jerk chicken and conch fritters at least once and for dinner definitely hit the restaurants early to guarantee a spot. The food isn’t fine dining but decent for the price. This hotel is for those who want low key relaxation not a huge party vibe at night but there’s local places to go like the casino or catch a cab in town.At night they have daily entertainment and during the day they host games and music by the pool. My favorite part of the trip was the view it’s amazing and you’ll meet so many new friends easily staying here.
