Great experience. The staff, the location, food, and drink was well worth the $100 per person. The beach sand was clean, blue water, and it wasn't super packed, so we could easily find seating and set our family up. I would definitely recommend this place for any carnival cruisers looking for a relaxing excursion in Nassau Bahamas.

I'm not sure why some people say that the staff had bad attitudes? We did not experience any of that. It was very pleasurable to stay there. It is all enclusive so you don't have to leave for much, unless you want to. The drinks were strong and the food was good for a buffet and a wide variety of food choices. We have found the bus to be the most affordable way to enjoy the island. The people we have meet have all been super nice and very helpful, even the homeless are nice! The only thing that could be better is to have more access to drinking water. The building is older and it's rainy season so we did experience some musty smells, but the staff did a great job at cleaning up rather quickly. The Bahamian show was super awesome and fun to dance with them and enjoy there heritage. We would definitely stay there again!

Location and the beach is very nice. However, the hotel is very old and the furniture is absolutely dated. The rooms are old too, the beds are not comfortable, the bathroom is unattractive, and the furniture looks like it came from grandma's house. A quick win for the manager would be to train their staff better and teach them not to be noisy while cleaning rooms. It’s very annoying to hear them talking as if they were on the street. The corridors don’t have carpet, so the wheels of the housekeeping cart wake you up. The staff, in general, is friendly and does the best they can, but the hotel is ready to be torn down. I would not pay more than $100/night per room (not per person). I ended up here for free due to an AA flight being diverted, so it was acceptable for the situation.

I am a New Yorker who went to Breezes Bahamas during the last week of May, 2024.
I chose your resort largely because I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and your resort assured me that it could accommodate a gluten-free diet. I communicated with the chef ahead of time who made me feel very welcome and that I would be in good hands.
I cannot tell you how hostile I found the food servers to be, during my stay.
The most egregious were the women in the cafeteria — but many of the waitresses in the restaurants as well — responded to my "Hello!" or "Good Morning/Evening" with zero words and often failed to even smile back at me.
And that was before I let them know that I have an arrangement with the chef because I have Celiac Disease and cannot eat gluten. The contempt from them was unimaginable.
I need you to know that the emotional roadblock I felt any time I needed to EAT at your resort provoked me, at times, to skip meals, and ultimately I chose to invest in your beach cabanas for the last 4 days of my stay because with that $100.00 daily cost came a Beach Butler and at least I didn't have to interact with your food staff other than at dinner.
I have been to the Bahamas before this trip, and I NEVER would have come back if my experience had even resembled the mistreatment I endured at Breezes.
Other than the beach, I felt like a prisoner who had to make the best of an awful situation. All I needed was to be responded to with kindness — a smile and an attitude that communicated to me that I was not a burden, but welcome. The staff acted like they'd been trained at a corrections facility.
I am also a former restaurateur and I would have wanted to know if this were happening in one of my restaurants. You have a workplace culture problem. I was not singled out in the way I was treated. EVERYONE was treated the same, and I suppose because your resort is on the inexpensive end of the spectrum, your other guests were not well-traveled and didn't have a point of comparison.

Employees are very nice, entertainment a must and the all you can eat bar has an excellent quality food. The three restaurant a la carte are great. I do prefer the continental restaurant but that just me. They even have a dancing club with a DJ but did not have the time to try it.
