This hotel is an absolute gem! It offers wonderful accomodation which is modern and comfortable. Food is varied and excellent - well prepared and tasty - presentation of the meal was exceptional. Staff were so friendly and helpful - they made you feel welcome right from checking in through to your departure. Transfer from mainland to the island was by speed boat - we had a smooth crossing both ways - not sure what the policy is when weather is not so good. Steps and wooden slatted path leading from the jetty need attention - some were cracked and one slat was missing.

We absolutely loved our 5 nights at the gorgeous Cape Kudu Hotel on this beautiful, peaceful, laid back island.
From the spacious, stylishly furnished bedrooms with such thoughtful touches, to the beautiful outside spaces with a fabulous main pool and quirky areas to lounge, all with jaw dropping views over the islands. Not to mention the quiet gasps of amazement, when the hornbill flew down to his branch in a tree near the pool. Absolutely delightful.
The location is great. The hotel is just over the road from the beach where there are a few lovely, quiet, beach restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away. We enjoyed great meals both in and outside the hotel. The beach is lovely, but you can only swim at high tide which suited us fine.
It was all just perfect, but it was the staff who really make Cape Kudu so special. Such a warm, friendly, knowledgeable bunch where nothing was too much trouble. They arranged a fabulous boat trip for us, a tour around the island and one of things we particularly enjoyed was a trip to the local Women's Institute to learn batik painting. The women were so friendly and the location was incredible... On a pier overlooking an island.
I am running out of superlatives to describe this incredibly special hotel but if you are looking for a stylish, friendly, boutique hotel in paradise away from the trapping of larger resorts then this is for you.

A beautiful hotel in a fab location, we were very well looked after throughout our stay. Great selection at breakfast, with amazing pastries! Lovely setting looking out across the sea. Very well connected for restaurants within a 5 min walk, and a lovely cafe just next door. Would highly recommend

Our family has just spent 8 nights in this beautiful hotel and we can only recommend this hotel: location is stunning, comfortable and very clean; the staff is amazing (thanks for being so lovely to our 2 little kids, 6-months and 2 years old) - always helpful, friendly, caring and supportive; food is great. There is nothing we can complain about. Thanks for providing such a special week for us!

We stayed at Cape Kudu for 5 days with our 4-month-old baby.
We had high expectations of the hotel based on the photos we saw online.
However, we felt that the hotel was not good value for money and fell far short of the standard expected from a 5-star hotel. The room's finishing quality wasn't high, the bathroom felt more like something from a 3-star hotel. Mattress bed was old and too soft.
The pool was small, with insufficient space to accommodate all the guests comfortably.
After two days, we wanted to cancel the rest of our stay due to the hotel's lack of convenience for a baby. It is not accessible, and there wasn't enough shaded area near the pool. It felt like the manager was unwilling to assist us and dismissed our concerns. Eventually they didn't let us to shorten without paying penalty.
