I went straight to the reviews after I booked the hotel rather than before which is usually a huge mistake.. I choose this hotel so I can celebrate a friend’s birthday 🎂. After all the negative reviews I saw, I was thinking about canceling this hotel. However, I’m glad I didn’t. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the beach and pool was clean. The cleaning staff really go out of their way to keep this resort clean. I had an oceanfront room which was nice. I usually book a 5 star ⭐️ resort but I must say this came close especially for the price I would give it 4 stars ⭐️ . I would recommend this resort especially if you are on a budget. Shout out to the bartender Rowma I believe her name was. Everyone wanted her to make their drinks. TIP… make sure upon arrival you make reservations for the restaurants because they fill up fast.

My husband and I stayed here for six days and it was a wonderful experience! Their buffet spreads are absolutely delicious, with traditional Jamaican options available (our favorites were the oxtails, jerk chicken, salt fish and ackee, and the lavish Christmas Eve fare). We got an ocean view suite in building 7 that opened right onto the beach, it was super convenient and the perfect location. Apart from the mini fridge being a bit rusted on the outside, the rest of the furniture was totally fine and there was always plenty of hot water while taking a shower (not sure why there are so many bad reviews). We also enjoyed the Jerk Hut, the ice cream area, unlimited drinks from their numerous bars, and the swim up bar in the hotel’s swimming pool. For an all inclusive, it’s a great value for money. We also stayed in the adults section to the far end of the resort, which is a lot quieter and incredibly relaxing. Our suite was cleaned every single day, thanks to the hardworking staff. Only issue we had was with water - wish that there was a water cooler closer to the end of the resort, since we had to walk over to the lobby every time we needed a refill. Also, be prepared to wake up early if you want to grab your favorite spot by the beach - they fill up quickly! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing stay in a non-pretentious resort Montego Bay!

MOLD AND DAMPNESS YOU COULD SMELL IT
I regret having to write this negative review about this hotel, but I feel compelled to share my unpleasant experience. I booked two rooms through Hotel.com as a Christmas present for my family after a challenging year. However, upon checking in, we were asked for an extra 20000 Jamaican dollars because the staff believed my 16-year-old sister was not included in the booking. If they had checked the second room, they would have seen her name, as both rooms were under the same reservation number. The check-in process took over an hour, even with the manager's assistance.
Another major issue was the presence of mold and dampness in the room; the smell was pervasive. We stayed in building 6, which poses a significant risk to public health. After several complaints, the staff tried to convince us that the issue was due to us turning off the air conditioning. However, it seemed as though the air conditioning was merely being used to mask the problem.
I felt the need to file a formal complaint in writing and am currently awaiting a response. If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution, my next step will be to contact the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism. No one should have to spend their hard-earned money to be exposed to mold. I went to the extent of ironing the bed and pillows in a desperate attempt to eliminate the unpleasant smell, as it felt like there was moisture in the bedding.
I have attached pictures and videos to illustrate the issues. I strongly advise staying away from this hotel at all costs; your health depends on it.

Booked for my daughter's birthday, arrived at the property after 2pm check-in, didn't get a room until after 7pm and that's after going back multiple times to query about what was happening, when we finally got a room, there was no shower curtain no tissue no water plus the door was giving issues to open had to keep going back to the front desk to get the issues resolved. The front desk staff was very nice though otherwise from the issues with the room it was a good experience The property was well maintained and the kids enjoyed the food, They loved that they had a lot of selections especially for picky eaters. Overall I would visit again just need to fix the room situation and we are all good.

Check in required more than an hour. We purchased four rooms for us and our adult children/spouses. They simply could not understand that. Then our room keys didn't work...repeatedly. The facilities are nothing like the online photos---very 1990s and in need of much repair. Photos online are definitely edited. The hot-tub near the pool was out of service. The elevator to our room was out of service. The reservation system for the three restaurants often crashed while we were trying to make reservations. A given restaurant was listed as "full" yet most of the tables were empty. The food was actually rather good, however. Minibar in the room--empty. The couch in the room--old and stained. The service was acceptable and just that--rarely to the staff smile or speak. The drinks were good, but you can't expect the staff to bring you one. No poolside service.
At least four times during our week we had to go get our keys replaced. No apology, no explanation. We were with our 16 year old daughter in the gym and security made her leave---because she needed parental permission to be there! Want an after-dinner swim in the pool? Sorry, it closes at 7 PM.
We've been to all inclusive resorts in the Dominican on multiple occasions and this was a huge shock. I strongly recommend against coming here. It is not a good deal for the money; not at any price.
