This is a gorgeous property. The made us feel very special from the moment we arrived. The rooms are so comfortable and well appointed with an incredible view.
The breakfast is extensive, delicious, and fresh.

Family of vegetarians and mobility challenges had an excellent stay: They immediately and consistently treat you with friendly courtesy that persists throughout the stay. The accommodations are accessed via golf carts which are frequent enough and easily available. My wife is mobility challenged and this place has ramps essentially everywhere. The beach is modest but adequate with cabanas, seating, and dedicated bar. The walk to the beach is negligible. The breakfast buffet was quite good quality and variety but again it is the consistently courteous service that bears repeating. The restaurant manager was proactively seeking out ways to make us comfortable. The food is quite good with a mix of local and modified options. Even though i eat everything, my family is vegetarian and they were quite happy with the options. Their menu is quite explicit about ingredients! My children absolutely loved the private pool which is why i felt comfortable giving the rooms 5 stars (otherwise i would have said 4 stars as the room was on the small side compared with other hotels) and it was well air conditioned and well maintained each time we returned. We had an excellent experience here.

We spent 5 days at this resort and loved every minute. Our two bedroom family villa was lovely, modern, with fabulous views of the sea. The half board package was outstanding as the breakfasts were amazing, both the buffet and a la cart. We could then decide whether our second meal was lunch or dinner which was great as we enjoyed going into town for dinner. The culinary experience at the resort was truly superb. Every meal was delightful.
It was an easy 25 minute walk to town with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and a short taxi ride back at the end of the evening. Our sons 19, 20, 26 all had a great time, enjoyed all the amenities including the outdoor gym and the night life in town.
The spa treatment (massage) was outstanding… Equally important to the luxury of this property was the fact that the entire staff went out of their way to make this an incredible stay for our family. We stayed in several places in Greece and bar none the staff at Dome Zeen was second to none.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and both agreed this is our favorite hotel we've ever stayed in! From the beauty of the hotel, the fantastic amenities provided, the comfort of the accommodations, and the incredible customer service/attention to detail...everything was PERFECT! The hotel is secluded enough (and sooo quiet and peaceful) but only a short distance to the center of Chania/harbor area. One of our favorite things about the hotel was the outdoor gym and the INCREDIBLE breakfast buffet. We would recommend Domes Zeen to anyone and hope to visit again in the future!

We visited this resort in August 2023 (and more recently in August 2024 - a separate review to be provided) and we were pleasantly surprised to have an even better experience than our first stay in 2022. It was great to see that some of our feedback last year was taken on board and the team made extra effort to make sure me and my family were comfortable. What we love about the hotel is the architecture and interiors, the modern twist on Greek food, the size of the sapphire family sea view room which comfortably accommodates two children and two adults, the private pool which had a shallow step for our kids to play, the snacks available as part of haute living which is perfect for kids and the main pool size and depth where my 5yo and 3yo could walk around in the shallow end and for me to do laps in the deeper end (where I could still stand). We also loved the cinema night at the kids club so that my husband and I could have a sunset dinner at a slower pace than we would ordinarily would if the kids ate with us. What this resort is missing for us is a sandy, shallow beach with private sun beds but all the other points mentioned above makes up for it. It will also be great to have more continuity in staff to create a warmer feel but appreciate is harder to achieve for a chain resort. A big shout out to Agryis and Christine at breakfast/dinner, kids club team, Marina from the spa and Sophia who all went the extra mile to make us feel welcome again.
