We stayed at the Elivi Hotel in Skiathos for a week and had an incredible experience. The location is absolutely stunning, with four beautiful beaches—each one accessible directly from the hotel. We stayed in the Grace area, and our room had a spectacular view, overlooking the beach right in front of us. Waking up to that view every morning was truly magical.
The room itself was spacious and modern, equipped with everything we needed, including a lovely shower and a Nespresso machine for our morning coffee. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless each day, which added to the overall luxury of the stay.
Breakfast had a vast selection to suit all tastes. Another great feature was the availability of sun loungers at every beach. They were incredibly comfortable, and we never had to worry about finding one, no matter which beach we chose for the day.
The golf buggy service was convenient, taking us around the hotel whenever we needed to get from one spot to another. We also appreciated the attention to detail from the staff—when towels ran out at the beach, they quickly brought more down from reception.
Overall, Elivi Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and made for a perfect getaway.

Wow what can I say from just getting back from a week stay at Elivi other than one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at that more than exceeded our expectations. The location and views are just stunning. We stayed in the grace we were upgraded to a private pool facing the beautiful beach, the room was amazing with floor to ceiling views of the sea, it was cleaned everyday by the cleaners(who done a fantastic job). We found breakfast tasty with lots of choice coffee made fresh for you daily. All the staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly (especially on the beach bar and Italian restaurant near the grace rooms). We also found the reception staff friendly and helpful with our needs ordering us taxis into town and ensuring we were happy with our stay.Thank you for an unforgettable stay and we can’t wait to return again in the future.

The hotel has an excellent location, the best you can have in Skiathos - next to some of the most beautiful beaches in the island. The views from the hotel are spectacular and atmosphere is nice and relaxing. It is very well maintained and clean property. Our room was spacious, modern and comfortable. There were only a few organizational bugs. Breakfast, for example, was a complete mess. In general, there are not many good dining options in the hotel, but there are very good tavernas around.
The hotel provides umbrellas and sunbeds on the nearby beaches - koukounaries, banana and xenia beach which is great. What we didn't like, however, is that the sunbeds are too close to each other, which could be very uncomfortable when the hotel is full.

Wow, what a hotel. Hard to express the level of quality, of service, of friendliness, of great tasting food and luxury within a written review!
I'd hope my pictures help with your decision on this hotel. There are amazing views wherever you look.
Spent a week here for a close friend's wedding and opted for a hot tub room within the Nest area of this hotel. In reference to our room; not booking a pool room in the Nest area, we would have had some much more usage from the pool than our hot tub.
The hotel room was still really good; a lovely balcony to watch the sun set, clean throughout with good amenities, great air conditioning and a modern bathroom.
Getting around the resort was tough at times mainly due to the heat but there are quite a lot of steep hills and steps around. The hotel offers buggies to help transport you across their vast resort but these were hit and miss - I'd expect this element to have been a bit better, extensive waiting times and some no shows were annoying when we had schedules to keep to. Not a huge problem but feedback on this point needs to be offered.
Aside from the above we had zero issues. The whole resort is immaculate. Having stayed in the Nest area we got additional advantage of a separate restaurant for breakfast and quicker access to a larger beach. Staying here would be recommended in my opinion.
The food in each restaurant we ate, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner was excellent. The quality, freshness and combination of ingredients were second to none. You could happily stay on resort and be spoiled for choice with food and drink.
All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Chris and George from the main bar in the reception area, both very polite characters and mildly funny too 😉. Each member of staff looked after us to which we are very grateful, made a great holiday even better.
As mentioned at the start, it's hard to convey the level of stay we achieved at this hotel. Do yourself a favour and check it out for real, you will not be disappointed!

Great beaches but poorly managed. The staff are nice in a Greek way but the level of service efficiency and thoughtfulness is below 5-star rating.
1) Check in horrendous with some paper work; they’re stuck in the 80’s. These days take the passports and photocopy them and ask guests to just sign. Here in Skiathos, you need to write the details you already gave online.
2) Buggy drivers that you need to book and they pass you with an empty buggy not even offering customers. To me, this is a simple gesture of good service. If you don’t ask, you don’t get, it’s not 5-star.
3) Cleaners who are east Asian are not trained to deal with guests who are working or staying in their villa. I was working for few days when I was here and the cleaner didn’t know whether she cleans or not even when I was at the pool side, like she was afraid. I was fully dressed and decent in front of my laptop, but she left without cleaning.
4) Restaurant ambience were bad. They need to decorate it to encourage Greek coziness. The whole main building need more plant pots — make those servers water them when it’s quiet. And yes, it was summer when we went, the dacquiris are made with fruit syrup — 5-star or Benidorm budget?. It makes you feel the island cannot get fruits.
5) If you don’t like wasp, don’t have breakfast here. Unless you ask for help, the young servers feel like it’s normal. Several guests have to move their plates with no help
at all and the servers just stood there. You have to cry for your coffee. They’re good kids but just poorly managed and poorly trained.
6) Why do you have a Japanese sushi restaurant when you can’t even serve grilled fresh seafoods? Just concentrate on Greek fresh grilled foods and traditional local food to keep your customer in. They probably don’t have a good fresh food buyer.
7) The location is quite far from town. At €3 single trip on a bus, a family of 4, would spend €24 on a single journey. This 5-star hotel do not offer shuttle service which is poor. Plus don’t forget, there is about 24 stops which takes about 1 hour on busy periods.
Conclusion, they need better management and those young hotel workers need better training. Some of them come to work unkempt, it’s really not clear how they can keep this 5-star status.
