You won’t regret booking Hawksbill. It may not be a 5 star resort, but hey who needs the stuffiness of that anyway when you are staying in paradise? The staff are all fantastic, really friendly and very quick to serve - they won’t let your glass run dry either! As others may have mentioned, there is a lack of full length mirrors in resort, don’t waste money buying lots of clothes before you go as you have no idea what you look like when you go out for the evening! They don’t seem to adhere to their own restaurant dress code - plenty of men dressed for dinner in casual shorts and baseball caps. Also nowhere to hang wet swimming stuff, if you have a portable washing line then take it. But really these are First World comments, tiny niggles only. I really cannot recommend the resort or its staff highly enough. I stayed for 2 weeks - worth hiring a car for a few days to go explore. Take some mossie insect repellent (and hope it works!) Book it, you won’t regret it.

Beautiful resort. The grounds are well looked after, and it when you are sitting on the beach, it really is paradise. The rooms are rustic, clean, and comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern with lovely showers. The staff are very polite and helpful and work really hard to make sure you have everything you need. Food is plentiful with lots of options and better than average for buffet. Sea Grapes beach is great for relaxing and swimming and close to the bar for drinks and snacks. I can't wait to go back.

Hawksbill was a wonderful resort in the country area. We were a family of 7 and it was peaceful and relaxing the whole week. We had 3 rooms. Two were the beachfront bungalow. Great porch to relax. Comfortable. Was not a fan of the shower outside but it was well done and private. The other was an incredible ocean view room with an amazing balcony! BOOK DIRECT. We loved having water and other drinks stocked daily with no charge.
The staff was nice and attentive. Pool was great. 3 beaches.
Things we wanted more options for —food throughout the day like snacks, and less mosquito bites. Bad.

This is a 3 star all inclusive in my opinion.
Cons... the FOOD. It is just NOT good. We stayed 4 nights. By day three we dreaded going to dinner and wished we were closer to restaurants outside the resort. We had a car, but the location of this resort did not make it feasible to leave for meals. For this reason, I would not stay here again. Low end alcohol as well.
We never received clean towels in our room and always had to ask for them. Our room was not the "Oceanfront" room so be careful when booking. Never enough beach chairs. You have to go early and put your towels out.
Pros... the beach is beautiful, walkable to Eden Beach and also beautiful! Use of kayaks, and paddle boards was great. Rooms are fine, clean and basic. Quiet and relaxing place.

Although a little tired, the resort is very pleasant, with amazing views, friendly, responsive, attentive staff, and excellent food. Although the selection of entrees choices is somewhat limited compared to larger resorts, the food that they do serve is far better and flavorful than most all inclusive resorts. The infinity pool is amazing. Be prepared to walk up and down inclines.
