Only 2 elevators for 44 floors… easily a 7-10 minute wait every time you need to get up or down. If you are here on holiday and don’t care about wasting your time, maybe you won’t mind it. If you’re a business traveler, beware.
Very thin walls and a lot of rooms have connecting doors to the adjacent room. You can hear a pen drop… I had the pleasure of listening to my neighbor call everyone he knows on speaker phone until midnight.
However, the staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. This hotel simply has some significant design problems.

Elevators are absolutely horrible. To make it worse, management has cleaning staff using the same elevators at peak times. Lobby is small, loud and has little to offer. These are things a warm cookie can’t fix. Can’t stay here again. Giving a second star because the beds are in fact comfortable. Bathrooms are tiny and hardly enough counter space to put your toothbrush down.

Great location, especially for weekend when the streets are too crowded. They also offer a discount to near by parking.
The room are worn-out especially the bathroom.
The "city view" is a small gap between two near by building. The only advantage is high floor, easier to get into the elevator. There are only 3 elevators and floors 30-10 just couldn't get in during the morning hours.

Good hotel and I have to say, great location despite it being in Financial District. I was pretty much 20 minutes away (or less) from key areas I wanted to visit. Very close to subways.
Room was clean. Another big plus: no noise at night seen as everyone had left the neighbourhood after working hours.

The elevator wait times were unbelievably long. During our entire 3-day stay, one elevator was out of service, and despite repeated attempts to fix it, it kept breaking down. With 44 floors and only three elevators, operating with just two was incredibly frustrating.
To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning in the hallways while we waited—sometimes for over 30 minutes. The elevators themselves were also without air conditioning and constantly stopped on every floor, as people kept pressing the buttons in both directions, eventually giving up and opting for the stairs.
I especially felt for the guests with luggage trying to move in or out. The best times to use the elevators are between 1-3 pm or after 10 pm, avoiding rush hours and the busy check-in/check-out periods.
Room was clean, good value for your money aside from the above issue. Good if you are staying alone and willing to take stairs up and down. Ask for low floor.
