Hotel is at a prime location right at the shopping districts, and 10min walk away from Dotonburi. Travelling is super easy as the building is connected to the train station at the basement. The service staff was also friendly and helpful - I dropped my wallet at a mall and the friendly lady with short hair at concierge managed to help me locate it by calling the department store. We had a great time staying there!

Overall stay was pleasant, but there was a constant water dripping sound in the room. While not overly disruptive, it was noticeable. The hotel's location and amenities were good. Addressing the dripping issue would improve the experience for future guests.

I’ve generally experienced awkward service at Hotel Nikko Osaka, and I’m unsure if it’s due to the language barrier or if the people are just less friendly here. One amusing instance was when the reception asked for the city tax—they seemed uncomfortable, as if expecting us to refuse, even though we were more than ready to pay it, being experienced tourists. The service was also odd when they explained they didn’t have a laundry room. Another strange moment was when I asked for extra cleansing foam, and they handed me cleansing cream instead. It wasn’t an issue of understanding English—the products are clearly labeled. Despite these awkward moments, our stay was redeemed by a wonderful experience. The room and bed were super comfortable, offering a fantastic view of the finest street in Osaka, with branded stores right across from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing, probably the best we had during our trip to Japan. Additionally, their other foreign staff spoke good English and attended well to our needs.

The hotel's main appeal is its location in the heart of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, providing easy access to shopping, dining, and various activities. It is conveniently situated in the city center, close to other important areas. However, the rooms felt outdated and small and were not very pleasant. The service and staff were polite and helpful, with no complaints in that regard. I also enjoyed their breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to those who prioritize location over room quality or luxury.

Good location and friendly staff; spacious room; the bathroom is quite old yet very clean; the comfort of the bed was the best (could cure insomnia LOL)
